Y'all! I just cleaned up and did a count and I am almost HALF WAY to 25!!! I am at 12 layouts! WOOHOOO!!!! Now I could count the 3 organization things I did this week but for me I want pages so I am only counting those. I am pretty impressed since this week was a bust with the kids being sick! Here is the layout I did last night. I LOVE this one. I sat down and put Glitter Girl on and went for it! That layout is adorable! Love it!! I got 5 pages done last night in my vacation album and almost done with 1 more! YAY!! Happy scapping everyone!! |

I'm going to scrap this weekend, msliz . I came home from spring break vacation sick, and it turns out I have pneumonia!   No Easter visiting for me, but no chores either so I'll try to do something, even if it's just editing photos or sorting cameo cut files on my computer. Say a prayer for me, ladies. Pneumonia really stinks. I'm sorry to hear that you have pneumonia. Hope you recover fast and feel better real soon! My DD is not coming home for Easter and my hubby is working so I'm hoping to get a lot of time in my scrapbook room this weekend. I really hope to get close to finishing my vacation album from our trip last fall. |

I am using a vacation day from work to stay home and scrapbook. I really should feel guilty but I just don't. The way it is at my job right now, I really needed a "therapy" (scrapbook) day!! I'm enjoying every minute of it!! I have done this. I think it's great therapy. I am toying with doing it the day after Easter! It is the best therapy ever!! Enjoy your day if you do take the day after Easter off!! |

Purple for me also which is very unfortunate and hard since purple is the color for Lupus awareness and my DD has Lupus. Each year, we do a walk and fundraiser for Lupus awareness so I have lots of purple to scrap and very little purple scrapbook material to work with. I also struggle with using white. I have made VERY few pages with white as a background.

Thank you all for your responses. It reinforced what I had been thinking and will probably continue on at this point of only doing a family album especially since my DD is"sort of " beginning to scrapbook herself.

Do you with adult grown children do separate albums for them or do all your layouts go into a family album? I have always done separate albums for my DD for is now 25 along with our family album. I've been thinking of just doing a family album especially since she is an only child and will get all the albums she would like someday anyway. I'm just curious as to what others with grown children do.

A lot of my pages have 4 or more photos, so I don't need much of anything else on the page. There isn't much room left! I only turn to sketches and scraplifting when I only have 1 or 2 photos on a page and I need some kind of design element or embellishment ideas. The exact same is true for me. |

I hope to get 25 pages done between finishing my vacation album to Madeline Island last fall and getting more done in my 2015 family album. I got an Easter card and birthday card done last weekend. I should start Mother's Day cards also.

My goal was 25 pages and I got 39 done!! Very happy about that!! I also got the 3 birthday cards done that I needed to and unfortunately I made 2 sympathy cards, including 1 for my BFF who had to put her cat asleep this week . |

After a very busy weekend last weekend and not getting any scrap time this week, I hope to get a lot of scrapbooking done this weekend. The reason I didn't have time this week was because I was reorganizing my scrapbook room along with the rest of my house. Still have work to do in my scraproom but definitely a big improvement!! I'm actually heading into my scrapbook room now to start playing!

Here is what I have gotten done this morning, plus uploading 9 completed layouts (had to edit them UGH) to the Paper Issues challenges. Today is what I managed to do last night, Cutie Pie is from my bash kit round two and 5 months is ALL scraps except the base and ALL punches! I loved doing that one! Between a training for work tomorrow, 3 birthday parties and my DD and her boyfriend coming home for the weekend I hadn't planned on getting any scrapbooking done but I actually got 3 pages done tonight in my vacation album that I'm working on. Very happy with that!!

I usually scrap multi-photo. It's where I'm comfortable because there isn't as much room on the page to work with after the photos are added. But, when I only have one photo, or a couple of small photos, I get stuck for just what to do with the rest of the page. I don't have a large stash of product to stick on my pages, which means I usually have to get creative somehow. And the solutions don't always come to me quickly. Same exact thing happens to me too when I only use 1 photo on a page. I'm much more comfortable using multiple photos, which usually isn't an issue considering how many photos I take. |

My CM circle and square punches. They were the best. When I got my Cricut, I didn't think I would need them anymore and got rid of them when I did a huge purge. Big mistake. That was the one and only time I did a big purge. Now I hate to get rid of anything!!!

Cropped last evening 5-9 and today from about 10 am to 8 pm. I have been under the weather all week and tried to medicate myself so I could be productive. I gotta admit I was pretty miserable but I persevered with these current photos so I can get back to my project. I did several groups of photos - son's selfies with friends, DS2 internship, Christmas, DH birthday, and some misc layouts. I actually had found some photos of my mom with her 'new' car taken quite a few years ago and I finally scrapped them. I have to find out where I can fit them into an album so they will be somewhat chronological. My total is about 35 or so for the weekend, but some of them are very simple. Because I scrap 8.5x11 a few of them were newspaper articles or other items that pretty much took up the whole real estate. One layout of pics taken at Steak and Shake I pulled a used up gift card from there out of my wallet and used it on the page. It looked pretty good! I took a picture of it here - part of the layout is cut off but the gift card shows. Then I have the layout of my mom and her car and another of son with his friends. Simple theme pages as usual.
