While it might be true that it is the fault of USPS, Persnickty Prints can get my photos to me safely, and Scrapbook.com can get paper safely to me. No other company (except for Ali Edwards at times) has any problem getting stuff to me in good condition. I am going to stick with the companies who can.

linda its both lol. This is where they need to be for now (my DIL had brain surgery and is on FML, and my son is now her caregiver for the time being) He is also able to help me with all my To Dos that have piled up. I have lived alone for a long time so it is an adjustment but I am glad we are all able to help eachother through this time We have also been having a lot of good family time so that is a blessing.

I love that it is low carb but had to laugh at a few of the comments: adding rice or potatoes kind of negates the low carb part. Do you find low carb sustainable? I eat fruit everyday and sometimes I am just hungry. I have started eating more vegetables. I was having an excellent low carb day and someone came home with a pie. Neither of us should be eating pie. For me, I am obese and need to lose weight. This is working. I am not eating keto, at my doctors recomendation. I do eat fruit (there are several low carb options, just as some veggies are high carb) I would have avoided the pie at this point in my health journey. I am also not eating "dirty keto" keeping most of my food choices to be actual food, not junk keto food. As far as sustainable, I am not sure yet, I have only been at this about 6 weeks. I am feeling better. My skin looks better, I have less inflammation. Feeling good, and seeing the scale go down is a big motivator once you have dealt with the cravings. Since I am trying to lose weight, keeping my carbs low helps with that. But low carb can mean a lot of things. I think anything 150g per day is considered low carb. So maybe you go for the higher number of 150 carbs (which will allow for a lot of different types of fruit) , and try to eat clean? That may help with not losing more weight? I am sure you will eventually find that balance that works for you!

I rarely do, because every time I order 12x12 paper it is damaged. They just do not package it properly. I will order from them but only if my order will not include paper, and then usually only if scrapbooks.com does not have the item.
To be fair, every time I have brought it to their attention they have tried to make it right by sending new paper, however they send it the same way they sent the first pack lol. I just gave up.
I have never had an issue with their shipping charges however.

I am in the on time is on time camp. The exception is work. I can not walk in right on time, and still be able to relieve the off going shift on time. So, in that instance, on time=late because it takes at least 10 minutes for shift turn over. ( We are 24/7 and have minimum staffing levels)

I am a 911 dispatcher. We have minimum staffing levels that must be met, and there is a nationwide shortage of dispatchers. I have a very good benefits package for sick and annual leave. All leave has to be approved and is often denied due to staffing.

I thought Ali wasn't changing the store stamps to the cheaper version? I ordered the Phrase 4x6 stamp and it feels different than her usual stamps. I am not certain if it's because the words are small so flimsier or if they changed the stamp material. Did anyone else get this stamp? What's your thoughts? www.aliedwards.com/shop/phrases-4x6-stamp-setUgh I ordered it but have not opened it yet. I will check when I get home.

Hi, I'm thinking about getting a Cricut (not sure if I want to get the Explore Air 2 or Explore 3 yet) and was hoping to get some input from more experienced Cricut crafters. I am tempted to buy the Cricut because I feel like it would be very useful to be able to cut things out and customize stuff for my daughter's school projects and supplies. I would also like to explore making things like stickers with her. It feels a bit wasteful to only get the cricut for that purpose, so I thought about other nice-to-haves. It would be useful to customize some sentiments for my cards by having the cricut write them out for me. I also make felt flowers using dies and it would be amazing to be able to scan those dies so I can cut the (100% wool) felt using the cricut instead... Is that even possible? Other than that, I don't think I'll be using very much vinyl at this point, but never say never Some of the concerns I have about cutting cardstock with the cricut is that all the videos I've watched seem to show people always starting off with a fresh sheet of cardstock. That seems incredibly wasteful... Can't you use scraps of cardstock to cut things out? Secondly, I am wondering about the cost of materials like the sticky mat, blades and pens. I'm in Canada where things are already more expensive, so I want to be mindful of alternatives. Thirdly, I would also like to be able to make signs etc in Urdu and Arabic. How difficult is that to configure in Design Space? I've only just started researching this so would love to hear actual feedback from users too. If you could recommend a particular Cricut (or other brand) machine to me, keeping in mind all the information I have listed above, which one would it be? Thank you in advance for your time and help! Good Morning! It is possible to cut many different things with the maker (which is the model I chose) but I am not 100% sure about the Explore. You would just need to double check but I believe it can, and uses a fabric blade/mat. There are a few different ways to use scraps of paper (or vinyl or fabric) so it is possible to use your scraps. I do use cricut mats and blades but I have seen great reviews of other brands/products. I have not used mine for writing but besides cricut pens, some pens fit and you can also purchase adapters for the pen slots. Design space is very easy to use. Forgive my ignorance regarding the language, but if they use an alphabet that is like English, you would just use whatever font you like and type what you want it to say. If it uses special characters you may need to find a Urdu or Arabic font/alpha to use. You can bring in any font on your computer. I chose cricut because I felt like there were a lot of tutorials/help on youtube and seemed the easiest for me to learn how to use. That said, I see other people say they feel limited and prefer a different machine (scan and cut or silhouette) I have/use/love my big shot, but I do think I save money by having the Cricut because SVG are less expensive than metal dies, and are so customizable. I also do not have to worry about storing dies. HTH

The $5.00 class is a steal! There were several digital files in that class that I didn’t already have. I highly recommend it, just for the digital supplies! i agree with that 100%-tons of included digitals, some are older WITL, some are previous story kit digitals and some are new items. I have watched the first two lessons and 1/2 of the zoom so far. I have less "anxiety" about this project already. I did not really have a plan and was feeling some stress because I wanted to do the week that the community is doing it. I also did not purchase any of the kits and was wondering if that was the right choice for me. I have a plan now after watching some of the videos and am glad I did not buy the kit. If you like Ali's digitals and/or her class instruction and/or her teams instruction (the zoom at least has a lot of people offering their ideas/tips) then you will get your $$$ worth I think.

When i first cut the cord I went w/ Hulu Live and had a good experience. I wanted to "cut" further, and had one of the old fashioned antennas placed on my home. I live rurally and am quite a ways away. I get more than 70 channels w/ that thing. (for the record the indoor antennas did not wok for me at all). I added a tablo for DVR and I now have local channels free, as God intended lol.
I cut Hulu live at that point and now rotate between a few other services. I keep Philo on all the time and Netflix also. I have Prime due to having Amazon Prime. I have a couple that are Verizon benefits. I also love many of the free apps and am constantly checking those out as well.
If you have streaming and a library card, check with your library for their digital offerings.

Even though I don’t want this month’s alpha stamp I really like how there will be new ones each month to add to subscriber’s boxes. I also noticed that wooden alpha can be added for $5. Guess that one didn’t go over well. I actually really like that stamp. I got it during a 50 percent off sale, but 5 dollars is even better!
