Not today but it’s been hot and miserable AGAIN! It was 91 and sticky humid. I am now in total raving bitch mode. I hate this heat and really want to summer someplace with ice and snow.

Almost half an inch the other day. I was shocked. Lots of thunder and it just poured. Too bad that it came so fast though as it didn’t have a chance to soak in. I hope it didn’t do a lot of damage in the burn areas.

The east county (mountain area) is still getting lots of rain. They have flood warnings out there. But west of the mountains, we just get a few sprinkles now and then. Still humid though. News said by Wednesday a low will come in and push the humidity away. Yay!!

Oh I hope the humidity drops soon. I prefer some to the really dry weather as that is even worse for fires but this has been killer. I tried opening up last night snd the house didn’t cool just became more humid. I enjoyed the cloudy weather today though even if humid since it was about 30+ degrees cooler. An additional drop in humidity a bit will be really nice. I would love to be able to sit on the patio in the morning. This 80%+ humidity is just too much.

My area of the IE got a ton of rain. Bad mud slides and flooding up in Oak Glen. My area had a warning too.

Just a bit of rain mid-day, but the humidity is still going strong.

Ever since the fire from that gender reveal party in upper Yucaipa, Potato Canyon and other areas in Oak Glen get bad flooding and mud slides. San Bernardino had flooding and rescues yesterday. Haven't heard about upper Yucaipa and Mentone or highway 38 so hopefully they are good.

The forecast didn't show any rain for today so I almost put the outdoor cushions back out last night. We had at least one shower overnight and I was using the wipers driving down to San Diego this morning on the 15. Crossing my fingers the forecast for the rest of the week is good and we are back to my favorite CA weather.

This humidity sucks. It's almost 20 degrees cooler but feels hotter than our 100 degree days when the humidity was low.

We got about 2 minutes of rain today! That was very exciting. I also noticed a lot of the trees around here look like they normally would in late October/early November. Tons of orange and brown leaves. Things are just very dry and very crisp after the last heat wave.
