DH is retired after 40 years as a paramedic and area ambulance officer.
I currently own and run a candy/ice cream store. Before that I was a bank manager for 15 years and I've also been a civil servant, a probate and property lawyer for 10 years, a child minder and nursery school leader. The job I enjoyed the most was probate and property lawyer but being self employed is probably the least stressful.

I was the Gifted Education Coordinator and part time HS librarian for our school district. DH was a college swimming coach. We are now both retired. (I'm still getting used to that!) I also teach adult education classes 20 hours a week. I am going to continue that job. I have been offered a consulting position in the special education field but I'm not sure I want to add anything else to my plate at this time.

We are both retired - I was a teacher (taught 1st grade for two years then moved up to 2nd grade and stayed there for the rest of my sentence... uh I mean career!) DH was a Circuit Court Judge, he was an Assistant District Attorney before that. We are both happy to be retired now - he was on a high dosage of blood pressure meds before he retired. Now, 3 years later, he's off all the meds and his BP is normal!! No more stress... life is good.

I will be starting my 17th year as a lunch lady at my small rural school district's Primary School. I cook, clean up, do computer/cashier duties a few times a week and the occasional secretarial chore. Love the little ones.
Prior to my son being born in 1995, I was a secretary/admin assistant, last secretarial job was working for the Director of Nurses at the local hospital for over 10 years. I loved that, but also enjoyed the lower stress at my school job and being on the same schedule as Ds through his school years.
Dh is retired, from 20 years of raising chickens for Tyson, and after that, working as a maintenance mechanic at our regional airport. Though officially retired, he still works hard raising cattle and putting up hay on our 120 acre farm, plus some leased acreage.
I'll be 65 in November, so thoughts of retirement are starting to cross my mind. Maybe in a couple more years.....

Dh owns a Karate school.
I do daycare, but I only have one child at the moment (and rarely her older her brothers) for summers and holidays. I've only stayed in daycare for this child. She was 8 months old when I started watching her and she is now 7 1/2 years old. When she no longer needs care I am done with daycare. I also work in dh's Karate school in the evenings.

Dh is a retired Navy Chief that now works for a county jail as a corrections officer. Part of his job is training new COs and investigation. He enjoys gardening and taking care of us.
I'm an auditor for a health insurance company. I also volunteer for 4-H and I'm in a few different dog groups and have just taken up showing my own dog.
Together we enjoy RVing.

DH is a former Judge/Court Commissioner who has returned to private practice. He is also a Special Master for the DOJ. He enjoys his work and says he is lucky to get paid for what he loves to do. He is happy, so i am happy. I have no idea what he is talking about half the time, but he seems happy lol.
I do free lance costuming, sometimes film, sometimes television. My specialty is aging new fabric and clothing to look old or destroyed and also reproducing certain vintage looks. My neighbors have become used to seeing me whack things into the dirt and run it over with the car lol. And, lately, i seem to have taken over some light paralegal duties for DH.. Maybe one day i will understand what he is talking about haha

My husband left a six figure job in corporate America to work in the financial ministries area of a church. He works with business owners in ministry and things like Dave Ramsey courses and generosity planning.
I used to teach before I got married then stayed at home with my daughter until she was 10. Then I worked part time for a couple years in a Montessori school. Now I work part time for a non-profit ministry that provides food for humanitarian relief around the world and here in Cincinnati.

I am a 4th grade teacher.
Dh used to be a historical reuse specialist. Meaning....he would take the worst of the worst abandoned historical buildings in a town, work within the confines of state and federal preservation regulations to revamp them for new uses.
Now he dabbles in that, but his main job is in multi-family housing. He is what is considered an owner's rep. Basically, he represents the best interest of an investor. He acts as their watch dog. He doesn't have to solve problems, he just identifies them and makes sure they are taken care of.
Dream job.... Professional millionaire.
