Our cafeteria is offering whole green olives on the salad bar. I just noticed this today and commented how happy I was to a co-worker. She proceeded to be disgusted (politely) and informed me I could have her share. I am now happily eating my olives and wondering what foods do you love that others think are nasty?
DH hates fried chicken, which seriously would have been a deal breaker if I'd known about this before we got married. Fortunately for him he waited 20 years to tell me.

Canned green beans love them. Hate fresh ones.

Fried chicken livers. None that I make, gross. But once in a blue moon, I love to stop at this little convenience store and grab a small order for my lunch. With hot sauce. Beef liver? Won't touch it.

I too cannot stand olives. I spent 10 minutes picking every last piece out of an otherwise delicious salad last night.
On the other hand, there is nothing like a good chopped liver on rye to this *good Jewish girl.* Both my mom and sister used to make it occasionally. I miss both of their cooking - I generally don’t like to cook.

It seems to me there is a lot of beet hate in this world and I just don't understand it. How in the world can you not love beets?? I adore them and would eat them every day if I could.

Grossed my poor husband out to even gave it in the house (he wouldn’t eat it) so once my oregnsncy was over I never cooked it as an entree again. Though it is the *secret* ingredient in my turkey stuffing and everyone raves

I am a big seafood lover, DH can't even do the smell no matter what it is. So I usually get it when were on vaction or out to eat. I'm super picky about where I get it. We also liked fried chicken, my step dad can't eat meat on a bone. I can't remember why.. so we usually get boneless. I just order them that way now because I got used to it. But he won't even come in the kitchen if someone got the bone in. lol. I think something tramatized him but he doesn't give a long explanation of anything lol!

He doesn't even eat dressing at the holidays. Amateur.

A prime example of the rampant beet hate in this world . I'll go out on a limb and guess that you've never tasted an amazing ombre made with a rainbow of colored beets. It is delightful . A perfect Thanksgiving side dish.

I like so many things other people find gross. Fried liver (beef and chicken), chicken gizzards, olives, black licorice, goat and feta cheese, octopus/squid, canned sardines, oysters, seaweed.

Now I have another good reason to visit

I’ll try a bite, hoping to have finally found the thing to rid me of the hate. So far, no luck

I FINALLY tried oysters about 4 years ago after a little arm twisting by my son. I like ‘em, I really do! Only things on your list i won’t eat are canned sardines and olives. I don’t think I’ve ever been offered gizzards.

Tomatoes, Rutabaga, Broccoli, Beets, Mushrooms, Avocados, Olives, Seafood, Scrapple ... all get big thumbs up from me. Brussell Sprouts, not so much. For such a picky eater when I was a kid, I grew up to like just about everything.

I don’t think I’ve ever been offered gizzards. Traditionally, we only ever ate them in gravy. ETA - chopped gizzards are used to flavor gravy.

There is this hole in the wall restaurant/bar that DH and I ride our motorcycles to and they have the best gizzards! Reminds me of when my momma used to make them when I was little.

They are very proud on the fact based on the fact it is painted on the roof of their building and they have 2 sandwich boards advertising them! They also sell gizzards.

I must be part goat. 😂
