Love that fabric lainey. Did I share my finished c2c blanket? I know I posted the squares but I don't think I shared the finished item: I gave it to my friend for her new baby - it's a bit big at the moment but he'll grow! And I have a photo of him wrapped in it already so I'm happy

craftykitten , that is awesome! Can you link the pattern? And I have finished 3 of these now. So very quick and easy. Not sure when I will stop. Lots of colors I want to do and then I will give out in Christmas stockings.

Aw thanks lainey and Patter! The yarn is from an ebay seller called yarnparadiseuk and the yarn is Ice Magic. It comes in lots of colours and thicknesses. I was so impressed - my order came from Turkey to the UK and arrived the next day! I didn't use a pattern, it's just corner-2-corner crochet squares that are 20 blocks square, then I arranged them to look sort-of-purposefully random, and joined them using single crochet. The border is just a row of white treble crochet, rainbow half trebles, then white again. I think I used 2 100g balls of the rainbow yarn for this. I'm really pleased with how it turned out!

Love everyone's projects! I'm still plodding away on my hexagon afghan but I've put it aside to work on Christmas gifts. I made the purple scarf and hat last weekend. It's from some cake yarns that I had in my stash. I stopped in at Michael's yesterday and got this Caron latte yarn. I think I'm in love with this yarn, it's so soft and fuzzy. I started this scarf last night and finished it today. Attachments:

Now I need to work out how to do corner to corner, because I've never tried that before - it's SO effective.

Amelia Bedelia I love that your coaster is chipped. So much so that if I made more I would think of chipping them if they weren't.

I've made a shawl using Scheepjes Cotton 8, it's a bit wonky. Does cotton block ok? I'm a little worried about washing it. I've made cotton blankets but never blocked them, I didn't have the room.

Just finishing off a mini attic in cottage. Made these yesterday and spend way too much time on the little house so dinner was late. House is 2" tall and tea chest is 2 and a half" tall and filled with boxes of Christmas decorations.

Woohoo! I finally made something so I can participate in the monthly thread! I found an old Girls World doll head at a charity shop so I gave her a Halloween make over. Wow that’s fantastic! And her fascinator is the perfect touch.

lainey! Yes!! It’s you I’m calling!! Look what you made me buy with your gorgeous prints and lovely bags! I saw this and had to have it. £1 or thereabouts on Wish. I also got a Mickey Mouse charm pack and another cutesy fabric but that was from somewhere else so it doesn’t count. It’s not likely to see a needle before the new year but it is v cute.

I’m making progress on my Christmas blanket - I not sure it’ll be ready for this year though 🙂. When finished it should be similar to the last photograph. I changed the pale green background to a mid navy This is adorable

So far I’ve fancied aprons for the DGDs, place mats, a Dorothy bag or a strip of all the bunnies, mounted and framed, with little buttons for their tails. Love how the blanket is coming, JoP. I spotted the cushion too!

Just how annoying is it when you research the yarn for your next project, leave extra early for work so that you can go to the shop to buy it... and they're out of stock.
