I just want to add that it truly was no big deal (on my part) to just facilitate the exchange, I promise. And while thank you is so nice to hear, y’all can stop any time now 😊 I appreciate the genuine kindness and warm wishes expressed, as well as the virtual hugs I’ve felt from so many over the last couple of months! Yep, what she said! It wasn’t much effort on my part either. You two are so sweet. MichyM I would love to participate again next year. This year is the first year it didn't feel intimidating. I think if we capped it at 60 that would maybe work? I'm wondering if there was overlap between this exchange and the other group. If so, and people wanted to send more than the 60, they could join both, and just add the people who didn't join this one. I'm not sure I said that correctly... like, if Mickey Mouse was on both lists, and I was, too, I wouldn't send him too cards. I'd go through the lists & find the overlaps/doubles. I would NOT make it the job of the organizers to do that, unless maybe there was a separate thread for folks who wanted to be part of both exchanges? I don't know. I think there is time to figure it out. I just know financially my max is about 60. I have a late October birthday, so I asked for postage as one of my birthday gifts this year. I'll likely do so again nexzt year.

I received 5 more cards in the mail today, 4 of which were international, and the domestic card was sent on the 3rd ...so keep your eyes peeled for more cards in your mail too. I'm starting to think about what I want to do with your cards after they come down some time in January (I'm going to move them from the living room to the office for a few weeks first). I happened to see a video on IG of someone making a larger version (I think it was 20 sided) of THIS with her own art and I thought it would be cute to do with the cards. I'm going to buy a 2" circle die to try it out. Maybe intersperse some patterned papers in with the card images? Then as I was googling these other ideas popped up. Even though I don't "do" Christmas, wouldn't they be fun to decorate with maybe alongside the current year's cards? And if these are old news and I'm the only one who hasn't really seen these before...oh well www.youtube.com/watch?v=ptcXurI6cWYwww.allfreechristmascrafts.com/Paper-Christmas-Ornament-Crafts/Paper-Strip-Sphere-Christmas-Ornament-Craftswww.youtube.com/watch?v=UKG-5pF9Q6wAnyhow, thanks for listening to me ramble on If I make any, I'll share. I hope you will as well.

I figured you would be the first person in the USA to receive a card from me, because we live so close to each other.

Finally! It seemed appropriate for the Pea exchange! I mailed them on the 15th, IIRC. I was really hoping they would get there faster, but better late than never.

So am I understanding that there is going to be a cap on the amount of peas on the list for 2021? While I know that not everyone did mail to each pea on the list, (I have received close to 30 cards so far) and some did send to everyone (I sent to every name on the list I was given), it was their prerogative to send to as many as they wanted (or did not). So is that changing for next year? I am confused.

Don't think so...I think the idea about capping it is so that those who want to send to everyone don't get overwhelmed with cost etc. I have sent to everyone also

I have loved all the cards I have received and they seem to be still trickling in, which is kind of nice- spreading out the season! I like the idea of keeping the number close to what it was this year. I’ve already picked out next year’s design and it’s going to take me more time to do them than the easy-peasy cards I did this year! 😉
I’d also be into sending some random cards throughout the year if people are up for it. Just wondering if there are people who wouldn’t want to receive them?

Mine will get there! We have a huge bottleneck here with the postal service. They still have buildings full of mail. I sent to EVERYONE that was on the list I received, including international. I do informed delivery and it's in today's mail. It's post marked 12/26

We were one of those cities they were showing on the news channels with boxes of mail piled up everywhere. I am glad that they are slowly trickling in!

I still have a few cards trickling in! But then I'm in Canada so it could take longer to get to me. We are keeping up Christmas decorations for awhile so I've just been putting more in my card holder. The other day my husband handed me 3 with a bit of wet envelopes. He said he slipped on the ice, I was more concerned about how the cards were.

I had NINE cards arrive this week (but I was in both groups)....it's still exciting to open them, ooh and ahh, admire the creativeness of the peas, and even the 'shop' cards are so pretty and gorgeous

This hands down totally made my holiday season. The creativity and little notes blew me away. I am already working on my design for this year (feels funny to type that) exchange.

Hi girls! One last note from me about our card exchange. I feel like it was a success, and it sounds like many of you do too! I feel like I got to know many of you better as a result ❤️ gemini_jen and I have talked and are willing to host the exchange again next year if there is interest. I’ll post the exchange and it’s updates, and Jen will completely take over the compiling and sharing the list of participants. This should minimize any little hiccups with distribution like we had this year. I personally preferred the smaller size of the card exchange, and if you all are in agreement we’ll cap it at 50-60 participants next year. Again, these decisions aren’t mine to make, so please share your thoughts about any changes you think would be helpful for next year’s card exchange. Thanks and Happy New Year! Thank you both for hosting. I am definitely in for the next one. I do like the idea of capping it. Happy New Year!

Ohio must really be having the issues! Received a card today from freeatlast (postmark 12/11) and from papercrafteradvocate (postmark 12/26). But I’m actually glad your POs are behind! It’s a really nice extension of the holidays. Both cards are amazing! Thanks so much!

I'll bump the birthday card thread tomorrow, but as of now, there's not enough interest to go forward with it. So if a few more do sign up, I don't think we would need to worry about having too many people. Is there still a Birthday Card thread? Just wondering because the not enough interest could have been due to the fact not as many peas being around due to holidays. I didn't go anywhere but we as a family we did things at home to entertain ourselves and I wasn't here as much.
