HOLIDAY CARD EXCHANGE 2021 - Labels and list sent

Hi Girls, a quick update, after going through sign ups and removing 2 people (one of whom has no idea what Peas are and how to become a member <----- rhetorical question, how did she get the sign uplink) we are at 48.

Signups close this Friday the 15th, so if you're been waffling, now's the time to decide Hope you'll join in!

Nope. I'm actually working on it right now. Someone else is working on formatting labels. Once we're ready to roll I'll post here when it does, I PROMISE! If it helps, for planning purposes, we have 48 peas participating.

In the interest of transparency, this has been my experience with someone who was not pea who wanted to join in our card exchange. Her name is Maria T. Please note that the name she gave me as the pea who referred her (Nadine P) to the exchange is not a participant in our card exchange, nor did she respond to my message in this thread asking her to contact me. I have no idea what Nadine's Pea name is.

Could I have dealt with this better and been clearer at the start. Well yes, in hindsight I believe so. I was trying to tiptoe around this to avoid any kind of confrontation. Do I deserve her ire? I don't believe so.
 
Serious question: would someone like to take over organizing the exchange next year? I think it's probably time to pass on the baton

I appreciate all of the time that you spent just to ultimately tell me no.

This could’ve been done in the first email. Instead, I went through the trouble of “asking my friend” how to join, joined, resubmitted the form, anticipated a reply and then was let down due to personal information being shared. You mean a public address? All I wanted was to spread Christmas cheer and receive it as well. A new member, as well as an old member could abuse the mailing list. But I understand that you may your policies or your decisions for whatever reasons. Perhaps you could save everyone’s time in the future and explain your concerns in the beginning of a correspondence.

I ignored the tone of your responses in hopes of the Christmas spirit. However, I will still wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
