This is gorgeous! What do you plan to do with it? I'm envisioning blocks all put together in a quilt that is display only. Is the fabric stiff once painted? Thank you. I have it hanging in my craft room. It is about 19" square. The gelli printed fabrics are still soft. I've just done some more fabrics that I added more gelli layers too and they have more body but are not stiff thanks to the Jacquard paint. I have another one planned that will be a little larger and will probably hang in my hallway.

I need to share my Halloween costume. Not new this year but I made it. The pieces glow in the dark and come on/off with Velcro. I stole the tongs from my kids play kitchen and got an old lady ice bag.

I cleaned out 13 large 3 wick candle jars... now what to do with them? I have a red frosted, blue frosted, black frosted- the frosting is just painted on so if I sandblast it, the space will turn frosted white/clear. The rest are clear. Any suggestions for projects? I think I'll make bowl from 2 of them for my kids teachers for christmas and put snowflakes on them or maybe their names and put candies in them. Not sure what else. This won't help you - but I'd probably try to weave a basket around one! Maybe hot glue twine or sisal rope around one and fill with silk flowers? From a google image search:

Thanks for the costume love. It's such a comfy costume to wear! jennifercw - I like the idea to put rope around the jar!

jennifercw - I like the idea to put rope around the jar! They would make nice pencil pots for the teachers with rope round them.

seaexplore I love that costume! Are your kids making you lie down so they can play? If so I hope you have an epic scream ready.

My little guy asked me if he could play operation on me after school on Friday. I told him no. Thankfully he had to get dressed for gymnastics. Otherwise, I'm sure I would have been laying on my classroom floor having boy parts removed. LOL
