And a happy Friday the 11th to all of you, fellow croppers! 💮🌼🌸
Welcome to our annual March crop! It's here, it's here, it's finally here. Make yourself at home. For three days, we'll be crafting together, chatting and getting cosy in here. All projects are welcome: cardmaking, LOs, Project Life, knitting, sewing, origami, you name it. There is an optional BINGO card challenge for those who like a little extra difficulty (and Team Players can get bonus points!). But our main goal for the weekend is to relax, get busy with our crafting and have a wonderful time together. A reminder about the optional BINGO card challenge: interpretation is loose. 'Christmas' can mean making an actual Christmas card or LO, using something from a Christmas line for a non-Christmas project, using a Christmas colour scheme, etc. Be creative with your interpretative lens and first and foremost, enjoy yourself!

Yay, I'm excited to see the thread up already! The weather is meant to be beautiful this weekend, mid 20's, so I want to get outside and do a little gardening and get some other house projects started, but I'm looking forward to some scrapping time as well. On my to do list is getting some photos printed. So far I've edited 5 photos and have lost all motivation to do any more. Other than printing, I want to work on my various PL albums. I've still got a few pages in 2021 to complete, along with my 2010 and 2022 albums and I'd be happy to make progress on any of them. I finished the journaling in my three year album tonight (one photo a week + a paragraph of notes for three years, spanning 2019-2021) and edited the photos, so once they're printed the album will be complete. I don't have any more specific plans than this. And I'm dreaming of the pinkfresh line that Geralyn co-designed. It's one of the things I plan to buy when I'm no longer frozen. I've nearly finished my 50 layouts (I think I have 7 or 8 to go) but I'd like to stay frozen a little longer before shopping again, especially as I can see a sliver of space in my patterned paper drawer.

Kicking things off with 3 questions... 1. What are your plans for this crop? Anything specific in mind you want to get to? 2. Talking about all things scrappy, are there any new or upcoming releases you're excited about? 3. How's the weather like in your nook of the world? 1. I just want to actually play with paper! I have been so busy with work, and kids' school stuff, and house projects, and yard projects, and taking care of others... I just want to steal bits of time away for myself this weekend. 2. I'm still thinking about No Limits from Cocoa Vanilla. And maybe grabbing some Legendary. I have a lot of "holes" in my pattern paper stash, and I'm hoping to write out a list of what I want to get, theme-wise, and buy it this spring. 3. It's chilly today, but this weekend is looking wet and windy and chilly.... And I'm GLAD because I won't be able to guilt myself for not doing more yard work or not having the kids out in it. I have work today, then parent-teacher conferences in the afternoon, but then.... YAY! Scrap time!😁

What are your plans for this crop? Anything specific in mind you want to get to? It's looking like the only scrapping I'll be able to do is going to be done today. I've printed all my January pictures and I'm considering myself a success if I get my January 22 PL spreads done. For those of you interested, online crop today with me at 2 pm EST. Talking about all things scrappy, are there any new or upcoming releases you're excited about? I've just been addicted to buying stamps lately. I've been watching all sorts of crafty websites for versatile stamps I can use. How's the weather like in your nook of the world? I woke up today to 3 inches of snow! And it's still snowing! Boo for Michigan! The weatherman keeps assuring us this is winter's last hurrah, so...I'm hoping for some better weather as we move into next week.

Hi Everyone! I am so excited to be a part of this weekend. Kicking things off with 3 questions... 1. What are your plans for this crop? Anything specific in mind you want to get to? I am scrapping our last few months living in CA in 2016. Our last vacation to Monterey and the aquarium. Also pictures of my sons at school and playing baseball. I am also going to be making some cards. 2. Talking about all things scrappy, are there any new or upcoming releases you're excited about? I saw the new Heidi Swap Sun Chaser line and love every thing about it. 3. How's the weather like in your nook of the world? It is sunny but cold here. I don’t know the exact temperature; but tomorrow we are supposed to get snow. jeremysgirl I will definitely be joining you at 2 pm for your crop!

Yay! It's crop weekend! I'm already eyeing that bingo card and making plans Thanks for hosting this again sleepingbooty! 1. What are your plans for this crop? Anything specific in mind you want to get to? I'm working today, and Saturday will be the day I get all day to crop, I'm going to finish my DD and hopefully get to more of the 28-4-28 challenges. 2. Talking about all things scrappy, are there any new or upcoming releases you're excited about? Not yet. I did take a look at the new Meow from Photo Play, but it's the same color pallette as nearly every other pet line I've seen (and have plenty of!) So it will probably be a pass for me. 3. How's the weather like in your nook of the world? Cold and snowy here - Currently 23 degrees farenheit with about 3 inches of new snow. Perfect scrapping weather. Sunday it will be in the 60s. what???

Good Morning from MN! 1. What are your plans for this crop? Anything specific in mind you want to get to?Yes, I am going to work on my FL trip book. I have put it off because I could not decide if I wanted to do a actual 12x12 trip album or a smaller Citrus Twist album, or something in between. I sat down and went thru my pics, and if I were to do a actual 12x12 it would be a pretty skimpy album. We were only there 4 days. But it will be a chunky CT album for sure. I have most of what I need, but there are a couple pics I need to re print (I ruined them in the pre cropping phase) and I might splurge on a new Cricut mat for the weekend. My old ones are super grungy and I don't feel like re sticky-ing them right now. I plan on joining the crops as I am able! 2. Talking about all things scrappy, are there any new or upcoming releases you're excited about? Heck yes! I am excited about the new birthday line from SS, I pre ordered the embellishments as I believe they will go really well with the Kaisercraft birthday line and the Crate Paper birthday line I already have. I am also excited about HS Sun Chaser, I am hoping JA gets that line in, or at least the project pad. 3. How's the weather like in your nook of the world? It is 5 degrees here, supposed to maybe get up to 20 with clouds and wind. No snow in the forecast today though. Basically, it is cold. And it will stay cold for at least another month.

Good morning, Peas! 1. As for crop plans, I have no specific ones. Have a bunch of new photos sorted and sitting on my desk, and I am happy to be home and free of the one bag of supplies I took with me to my ds's home. TBH it was a BIG bag, but it still was a restriction on my free ranging style. I also freed myself of the goal I set to remain frozen, so also have some new supplies to play with. So my plan? Just PLAY! 2. I am excited about Cocoa Vanilla No Limits! Have a pre-order in my cart at a Canadian on line store, but have not yet pressed the Complete Purchase button. 3. Clear and sunny here and about -20C this morning. This is pretty typical weather for here this time of year. I don't mind the snow scape in my yard: it is actually very pretty with the sun on it. And it is keeping th tree roots nice and blanketed until it is safe to start pumping sap up to the branches. As long as the white stuff is not falling and whipping across the road when I am driving, I am okay with it.
Thanks so much, sleepingbooty, for setting this up. Excited to see what everyone is crafting!

I am keeping my fingers crossed that I will be able to join in on Saturday and Sunday afternoon! Looking forward to seeing everyone's projects.
1. What are your plans for this crop? Anything specific in mind you want to get to? I would like to continue working on my photos of my 3 youngest gks. All 3 were born in 2020 and I have tons of photos! I also have Xmas 2020 and 2021.
2. Talking about all things scrappy, are there any new or upcoming releases you're excited about?
Thanks to some enablers I think I need Coca Vanilla No Limits, Heidi Swamp Sunchaser, Vicki Boutin's Sweet Rush and Tim Holtz's Sweetwater Taffy Oxide.
3. How's the weather like in your nook of the world? Currently clear & sunny but cold - tomorrow the forecast is 22 degrees and sunny.

Just having breakfast and then heading to my scrapspace!
1. My plans are working on my PL for 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022. I printed a bunch of photos on Wednesday so that’ll keep me busy for a while.
2. My goal this year is to use my stash. I try to not look at the new stuff. So far, so good.
3. Weather is -15C this morning, a bit windy. Supposed to be 3C Saturday. We’ve had big swings in temps since Christmas, so just more of the same.
Yay!!

Yay! So glad to come back home from a long day of work and see that the North/Americans are making their presence known and starting to prepare for crafty goodness. Can't wait to see all the creative projects you ladies are going to come up with this weekend! Replying quickly to my own questions: 1. What are your plans for this crop? Anything specific in mind you want to get to? I need to get my memory planner pages printed, stamped, minimally embellished and ready to be archived. I've managed to work back right up to mid-February for the journaling so far but I'm just glad to have all the daily Ukraine war updates until today done. I'd love to dive back into my mini December Daily as well. Still haven't finished that one. Shame on moi! 2. Talking about all things scrappy, are there any new or upcoming releases you're excited about? Since I recently decided to go back to memory planning in a Happy Planner that I sourced for free but only runs until July this year, I'll need to get one of the 18-month planners they just released so I can continue for the rest of the year. We don't get the full collections over here in Europe so I'm waiting to see what the French retailers will carry. I am trying to be good and not look too closely at the new SB lines but I might cave eventually and go take a look (dangerous, I know ). 3. How's the weather like in your nook of the world? It's cool (16°C/61°F), grey, positively depressing and very much anti-Mediterranean. Silver lining: I have no desire to be outside at all so bring on all the scrapping!

Linda 'First day of preschool' My gosh, these photos are adorable! I love how you played off the dress and big sheet of drawing paper for your scrap inspiration with the red mat and small black, grey and white checkered paper. Great play of contrast here! The journaling strips break through the lines of the checkered pattern perfectly and add another layer of subtle play for the eye. The heart cut-outs are a lovely nod to Annabelle's quilted dress shapes, too. Very elegant and clever! PS: I think this one my qualify for "Oversized" considering the amount of space taken up by the block of photos and that very cute large traced portrait in the photos. 'Face paint' Aww, she's so not one of those Nivea/Nutella pot kiddos who you suddenly discover all "painted up" (happened once to me as a babysitter and whoa, I panicked for a moment there ). Her face in the second photo cracks me up! You did wonderfully with the pattern contrast between your (2005, OMG!) swirly green paper and Annabelle's green checkered top. I love how it keeps the eye guessing and moving. That warm-toned pink is the perfect shade to complement the wood tones and your daughter's hair in the photos. It's all so soft and dreamy, pretty perfect for the memory of a girl who did not wish to get dirty.

Thank you sleepingbooty - I'll tick off oversized on my bingo card as well then Still working on 2010 photos - this one with my oldest. Stickers are 2008 - I think I bought them with an eye to scrapping MY college photos, lol. And the alphas are old Club Scrap probably close to 20 years old The greys didn't photo well (not great lighting here and grey grey grey outside) but they are grey not purple.

Good morning pea people! I'm excited to play this weekend and join in on the fun.
1. What are your plans for this crop? Anything specific in mind you want to get to? There are a handful of challenges that I haven't completed yet from the 28-4-28 last month that I'd like to try to do. I also want to do a st. patrick's day card and some other spring cards.
2. Talking about all things scrappy, are there any new or upcoming releases you're excited about? I'm part of the frozen/chilly faction, but I did make a small purchase (MME close out sale) and from SB.com (white cardstock/saltwater taffy ink!). There are a couple new items I would like, but I'm okay waiting. After doing a valentine card exchange I was able to see a decrease in my embellishment containers - so not shopping is working for me!
3. How's the weather like in your nook of the world? Today will be sunny and warm at 74F (23C). It's not quite 9am so still cool at 60F. Similar weather tomorrow and Sunday a bit cooler at 68F.

Good morning, Scrappy Peas!
1. What are your plans for this crop? I am still working on a few of the 28-4-28 challenges and I still have several batches of cards to make to fill the boxes I plan to donate for a fundraiser.
2. Talking about things scrappy. I am trying not to buy anymore scrap supplies until I use up a bunch of what I have on hand. I'm making slow progress, but have enough to last my entire lifetime of 24 hours per day of scrapping.
3. What is the weather like in your nook of the world? It looks bright and clear but we will only get to 30 F. today. Later in the week we may get up to the 60's. 30 degrees isn't bad, but our wind is cold and biting.

My printer and I are battling it out right now and the printer is winning. Two pages have gone through crooked, one even sustaining a fold. What is going on? Could you please cooperate? I do not have extras of these Happy Planner pages to get it right, zut alors. Cuss words may have been uttered...

Thanks to some enablers I think I need Coca Vanilla No Limits, Heidi Swamp Sunchaser, Vicki Boutin's Sweet Rush and Tim Holtz's Sweetwater Taffy Oxide. Laughing at myself. Wow - just looked back at my post and realized my many typos! I do know how to spell Cocoa and I do know it's Heidi Swapp, not Swamp!!! Now all I can visualize is Heidi running through the swamp looking for sun.... I have to laugh because I hate when people don't spell correctly - I'm such a hypocrite.

sleepingbooty - (((Hugs))) - I hope your printer starts cooperating soon - what a pain! mayceesgranny - lol - I didn't even notice. This one was hard to photograph - the alphas and the unicorn are silver but iridescent and the camera didn't like that. More 2010 photos. Claiming the unicorn as an animal for the Bingo card.

1. Crop plans: finish last week PL and most of this week since this week will be done by the end of the crop. Figure out how (if) I want to document DITL pics I took yesterday Start new stories scrapbook
2. New releases: I’m not aware of any. But what I would like is AE to offer some of the old SMTM and story kits. I know she just did digital but I want physical kits.
3. Gray and cloudy.

We have Turning Red freshly released on Disney+ playing (really good so far!), lemon biscuits and a pot of tea. I'm sitting down with my printed planner pages, stamp platform and some word stickers. Let's do this! I'm ready to scrap and chill (after my printer debacle).

sleepingbooty, I am so jealous! I really want to see that. My DSIL is a Pixar animator who worked on it. It is not coming to the theatres, and is just on Disney+. We don't have Disney+. Our DD who lives in town does and says she will invite us over. I am very anxious to see it.
