The time change really dragged us down today and I wasn't able to go pick up my extra photos. Hopefully I can go tomorrow and work on photos and embellishments for my mini album next weekend. linda Great job on getting so many pages completed! I especially liked your use of banners and grid design. And the cute manatee title. You inspired me to dig out my old BH sketch book. I have some pages to finish in another album and I think sketches will help me get them done quickly. LavenderLayoutLady Sounds like you accomplished a lot this weekend! I still have kid art projects and memorabilia in a box to deal with. My kids are done with school and I made a school portrait album for each of them( so fun to look through) but would like to scrap some other school photos.

sleepingbooty Your courage layout is so elegant and I love the textured background. On your New Years page I especially like the mixed media and label tag. And your Felix page has such a cute photo and title! I love the stitching and washi details. grammadee Beautiful pages to showcase your Dil's( I think?) accomplishment. In your first layout I love the use of hearts and how the circle draws your eye to the beautiful photo. Your second layout has some great photos, especially that action shot. And I can understand your dgk's excitement! paget Yay for being current on PL! Love the circles and all the 2x3(?) photos.

Linda - yes, I can imagine with busy-ness in the house it would be hard to be on a virtual crop. I forget how isolated I am in the basement, but when DD is on the other computer down there and talking to friends it's really embarrassing I actually really LIKE that background activities paper you used on the scout page! It adds all the detail without distraction. You got so much done this weekend - jealous! I love the swim pictures.

kitbop - my scraproom is on the ground floor, right off the foyer, and while we don't have an open floor plan per se, we also don't have doors between the different rooms and DH tends to watch TV rather loudly in the next room and DD is in and out with questions and chatter and the cats are running wild...

Just got home from work and I can rest, finally! Quickly sharing the final LO I made last night before I fell asleep. It's another one for my parents' 2020-2022 album. I focused on our national lockdown rules from the early pandemic days and the social distancing/hygiene advice. 'Les Nouvelles Règles' (the new rules) | BINGO: memorabilia (woop woop, my card is full)

Looks awesome sleepingbooty - that background make me think of cracks...and the ways our society got fractured by the pandemic - so much loneliness and fear. Great use of memorabilia.

💕 More love for p. 5 projects 💕 Linda'Climb' Such a cosy LO! I love how you've expanded on the tree house concept of the swing park by creating those "blocks" of paper and constructing an expansion on what's featured in the photos. Those peachy pink hues are the perfect transition shades between the terracotta tone of the wood and your daugher's pink dress! 👍 'Get Wet' Loving this "paper pool" you built to nest the photos in. That hot pink is the perfect complementary colour to the intense blue of the pool water. Those neon banners hanging off the sides of the LO remind me of pool noodles. 😉 Very dramatic and fun! 'St Augustine' Oh, this one is such a summery yet calming spread. Your photos and paper selections make me want to sit down on an old stone bench and just listen to the water fountain and birds. I can picture the whole scene and atmosphere from your page! Your decision to use the white background floral pattern for the centre part and the yellow background PP for the exterior sections is unusual but really clever as it helps to "seal in" the photos and replicates the intimacy of the lovely gardens you photographed. This is an excellent demonstration of making a page appear peaceful while using non-neutral papers, well done. paget'PL Week 10' Oooh, so much circle play happening in this one! I love-love-love how you've put them in different ways around the spread: clustered and overlapping, as single embellishments, neatly in rows to journal. It really makes the eye move and zoom in on each pocket. Great fun with the colours as well: I love that large, dramatic black circle on the top right to balance out the darker tones in the photos as well as the carrying out of the colour contrast theme with your am/pm alpha stickers. 😊 grammadee'Oh Happy Day' The bright aqua in this double-pager is making my heart race a little faster! So pretty, so striking. I love how you embraced the hexagons and dared to cut the photo down to make it fit as it creates this trail upwards the horse in the photo on the other page seems to be running into: a perfect picture for the rodeo theme! Loving all these larger sentiments (and that you included your grandkid's linguistic enthusiasm 😉) strewn about the page, especially with that beautiful large cluster for your journaling. Superb job all around!

Awesome games page grammadee - love all the gaming embellishments and the handwritten score card. Great photos Thanks. That score card was a pic of a note he left me when I asked him to put the game away to make room for us to have supper. Just had to get in one more dig that I had lost. LOL.

grammadee - clarification please - are we counting projects we do TODAY (Monday) as part of the crop bonus or just those done before midnight our time on Sunday and possibly posted on Monday? I'm fine either way - just unsure.

I was all done with Christmas photos but then DH sent me these from his phone so I had to do one more layout. Thank goodness for 3-ring albums (edited -apparently I only scrapped the DD not the December photos in the family...realised that when I put this one away) QK Vixen Alpha, pretty sure the pp is from a Michaels pad a few years ago, the tag is printable that was linked here last year, and that's a brad on it from Michaels

Thank you sleepingbooty for an awesome crop weekend. Thank you also to everyone joining in! Can't wait to do this again - maybe iNSD? I missed out on this crop completely so I would love that. I was all set to participate and then a scheduled event date was changed and everything went downhill from there. So sad! But I'm happy to see that all of you had a great, scrappy weekend.

Hi Everyone, I loved cropping this past weekend. I was able to join the in-person crops on Friday and Sunday. The other two days I planned which challenges I could do with my pictures and supplies. I am looking forward to joining next weekend for the on-line crop. I completed 4 pages and 3 challenges. Here are the pages!

I'm disappointed I didn't get to play along quite as much as I had hoped or planned but I've loved scrolling through the thread and seeing all the pages posted. I'd also be down for something on the iNSD weekend, and by then I hope to have some of the home projects out of the way so I really do have time to participate.
