Much love to the North-American Peas going through the daylight saving transition today. We get another 2 weeks of denial here in Europe as we switch on the final Sunday of March. I'm just going to pretend it's not happening... Sending you all strong coffee vibes!

sleepingbooty - another beautiful layout from you - the soft colours (love that you drew in the pink from the balloons) and the sparkle! very festive yet understated you're off to a great start LavenderLayoutLady...I'm headed to my scrap desk soon - there are manatee photos from the museum waiting for me. I got Augusdt 2010 finished last night and July 2010 started and hope to finish it up today (there aren't a lot of events - a Boy Scout project, a camping trip, the museum, and a day trip, I think

Spent the morning cleaning up my scrap room and plowing through the laundry. Lunch, shower, then planning to scrap the rest of the day away (in between laundry loads of course 🤪) Okay, getting started! Am I the only scrapper who has a pile of kid drawings, letters, memorabilia that needs to be put into albums? I just slipped last year's Christmas lists, several school drawings, a note from my oldest, & a school worksheet into page protectors and put them into their albums. Sometimes I forget that I let that stuff pile up. This morning I'm working on school photos. I have school portraits, school events, and morale boosting days (like for 2-22-22). All this scrapping makes me really want to shop! Me! I just finished going through the past 2 months of DS’s school stuff and pulling out the important stuff. The piles had taken over my cricut table and I wanted to cut something so it had to be dealt with.

Thanks for the extra caffeine, sleepingbooty . Tempted to lick my screen... Awesome pages by you this weekend. I love the photos for the New Years page. What a great set up for them. And I love the mixed media look and hits of gold against that cool green background. I was going to ask how you have been getting that cool spackled look, but then I remembered you were doing digi this weekend. Your mosh lO's are cool with the cs blocking and dino stickers, Linda . Don't know if you explained what mosh is? I finished one page this morning. Shared this in the 28-4-28 challenge it fits. I have three stars, a bit of green, and a 5x7 photo. Need to look at the bingo card again to see if there are any more crop points on this one.
Hoping to get two more finished today, but not sure if that will happen. Have to print some photos first I think. I need a time STRETCHER I think, especially this morning.

grammadee - MOSH is our local-ish (abt 90 min) Museum of Science and History. That's an awesome layout - love all the hearts and the lasso. congrats to your DIL Last MOSH layout - the stamped phrase is Lawn Fawn, the manatee is Hero Arts...no idea on the PP And DH just ordered me a set of alcohol markers - I've mostly been borrowing DD15's to supplement the 18-pk I got from Five Below but now I'll have my own (as DD breathes a big sigh of relief)

Way to go, ladies! You all inspire me so much!
I finished three more school layouts, and put them away. I have the school portraits on my desk from this past autumn, but I need different paper to scrap them. I want to do them better than just white or kraft cs.
I sorted my January & February photos, and am not sure where to jump into next.

Scrapped one of my mother's kitties, Félix. And threw in a bad Christmas pun for funsies! Not sure how I feel about the silver alphas with the gold in the washi tape. Might change it later. Or not. Disclaimer since it's a close-up photo of him: his mouth and teeth are unusual due to a cluster of genetic/chromosome issues, not neglect. There's no changing his mouth and it doesn't bother him. He just eats a little different than other cats, that's all. 'Felix Navidad' | BINGO: Christmas

grammadee 'February' Oh wow, this one is an outburst of love with all those heart die-cuts. I love that you worked in so many colours of the rainbow but kept the mixed media background in those sunset shades of yellow and pink: perfect to document a rodeo gal who must be spending a lot of time outside to train. Those red foil elements bring so much vibrancy to the page! Your little cowboy hat embellishment made me smile (so adorable). Beautiful, fresh and joyful! (Kudos to the semi-finalist, by the way.) Linda'Manatee-rific' Aww, I love a silly pun so your title immediately brought a smile to my face. That DIY manatee embellishment is adorable, you did a great job with your DD's markers. I really like how you've combined both the waves of the manatee's natural environment and the sombre look of the museum setting by using that grey chevron paper. Clever! The banner endings add another lay of wave-ness to your design. Very cool.

Way to go, ladies! You all inspire me so much! I agree, all these beautiful pages and creations are very inspiring and make my creative juices flow! Ugh, it's already dinnertime here. I'm going to run out of time to crop much more... Might try one more LO for the night. And DH just ordered me a set of alcohol markers - I've mostly been borrowing DD15's to supplement the 18-pk I got from Five Below but now I'll have my own (as DD breathes a big sigh of relief) How sweet of your DH, Linda! You deserve your own set, methinks. And your DD her peace of mind. Are you into cardmaking as well? Hoping to get two more finished today, but not sure if that will happen. Have to print some photos first I think. I need a time STRETCHER I think, especially this morning. This weekend flew by, I agree. I really wish I'd have another day or so create... Me! I just finished going through the past 2 months of DS’s school stuff and pulling out the important stuff. The piles had taken over my cricut table and I wanted to cut something so it had to be dealt with. Hey, that's one technique to make sure things don't pile up too badly: just put them right by something you will need in the next few weeks. I was going to ask how you have been getting that cool spackled look, but then I remembered you were doing digi this weekend. I'm getting away with mixed media effects pretty easily this weekend, tee hee...

sleepingbooty - Felix is adorable and from your journalling -quite the character. Love the rest to contrast with the neutral backgraound and his black/white fur - and to show the Christmas spirit. I don't usually like gold and silver mixed but I think it works here. Another one inspired by a BH sketch - hearts are from the QK Archery die, Alphas are Doodlebug chipboard, paper is Photos are July 2010

How sweet of your DH, Linda! You deserve your own set, methinks. And your DD her peace of mind. Are you into cardmaking as well? I do some simple cards - much as I do simple layouts. DD15 is an artist and while she's been sweet enough to share, I know she would rather not have to.

Went ahead and finished up this current week (week10) PL since I’m not recording anything else from today and I have the time set aside to scrap. I took pictures for Day in the Life this week but wasn’t feeling it that much so I included it in the week’s spread (instead of a separate page) with with flip up 4x6 pocket for the rest of the pics and journaling about the day. Ooh- looked at bingo card: I have hidden (day in the life flip pocket), animal (my dogs), 3 of something (more than 3 circle embellishments, green

scrappyrabbit I love your “furry friends” page - that color palette is my jam and I am drawn right in to the huge title with patterned paper- love it! linda I love Becky sketches - I think it’s the only scrapbooking idea book I kept! Love the bright colors of that page! Can’t believe how much you are getting down this weekend! 🔥 sleepingbooty that title!!! Felix Navidad hahah. 🙌🏻 love me a pun grammadee love all those clustering of hearts- simple idea that is super impactful. You must have a die cut? I wish I had that -love how it turned out. I like how you used all the patterned paper and mix of sizes, really gorgeous.

paget - great spread - I like how you incorporated DITL into the weekly overview...I've never done DITL because I don't really do super small mini albums and my days aren't so full that an 6x6 would be worthwhile. But a layout? I could that - thanks for the idea. And I love all the circles - they draw the eye around your page. I do like the Becky sketches - I think they are timeless designs that are easy to update with modern supplies or techniques. And they usually have multiple photos which I need.

sleepingbooty , your Felix Navidas page is cute and fun. Thank you so much for keeping this going all weekend. It has been a blast! More awesome pages from you, Linda . I love the blocked greys on the manitee page. And so much fun to see your dd when small, climbing on the play structures and swimming in the pool. The colours on the pool LO are wonderful! Kids grow up so fast! paget thanks for sharing your March pocket pages. Again, they look really interesting. I like how you journaled on the circles on the pp on the bottom right. Here is my last two pager of the weekend. I apologize for the hand written title along the left, but that is what their KID yelled when he saw his mom finish the ride with a great time. Not the language they use all the time in their home, but he was super pumped. I took the action shot from the video I took of her ride when we saw it on TV. The large photo is also on my calendar for next year, but these pages will go into my Winter album.

It was great to have company, meet some new peas, and take a weekend to really focus on some scrapping. Where were you grammadee and Linda??? I got 3 layouts finished, and another on my desk challenging me. All of them tick off a couple of boxes for the 28-4-28 challenges. I think I only have 3 left! Unfortunately, the design and title centre of my brain seems clogged by this cold! I really struggled. I also did some fun no-brain no-design work in stamping/colouring/die cutting embellishments to go with the retirement album I have to make over the next 2 weeks. I got a whole "kit" set up so once I get photos from co-workers I should be able to slap it together. layout my fine feathered friend by kirstendrew, on Flickr layout 5 scrapbook friends by kirstendrew, on Flickr layout drama dog elite by kirstendrew, on Flickr

Hope everyone had fun and will come back another time--or even HOST one! Sorry I didn't drop in. I totally meant to at least say hi. I did some scrapping this morning--managed to finish 3 pages--but then ran out of brain power and just did some small things. Heading to the Gallery now to leave love for that cute Scout page.

kitbop - I've been scrapping but there was too much activity/noise here to jump on the online crops. I love the clusters in feathered friend! and the pink and butterflies! The friends layout is awesome - what a cool photo - Those trees though - perfection. And what cute pets - love the banner! Last layout for July 2010...I think I just have parts of May and June to finish up for 2010. K&CO Boy Scout paper and die cut - it's not my favourite paper but... And a layout from February of this year - sticker is Paper Studio, I think. Not sure on the paper.
