Does anyone know the best way to contact Shimelle?
I pre-paid for the punch class but still no access. I emailed various addresses, messaged on Insta, and even "spoke" to her during a Live. She said she made a note to check after class but nothing. Starting to feel like a stalker,lol.
Fyi she just posted on IG that Alice is back to help for a little bit. Her email is alice.shimelle.com@gmail.com Oh this is awesome! I was just coming here to ask how long it is on password resets now and where's the best place to reach her. Thanks! |

My Shimelle Reasons to Smile order arrived on Monday and I had a chance to open everything last night.
Here are my thoughts on the collection:
* The floral papers are beautiful. Bloom Wild and Thrive Now are papers I will use a lot. I also like the lighter wood grain on the B Side of Win Today. The baking papers, cut apart papers, and heart paper (Stay Sparkly) are all beautiful. The only paper I don't love is the throw pillow paper (Rest Often), but the stripey B Side will definitely be used.
* The paper pad has gold glitter on some elements, and I love it! I'm glad I picked up the single papers and the paper pad.
* The stamps and dies are usable.
* I really like the paper ephemera, stickers, and enamel dots.
* I wish the phrase Thickers had more little bits tucked in between the bigger bits. Compared to Main Character Energy, the package feels sparse, but I do love what is included.
* My only complaint about this collection is the blue Thickers. I was hoping (and expecting) a true navy, but the foam is more of a royal blue. I love blue of all shades, and these will be used, but I was a little disappointed when I pulled them out of the box, and they were a bright blue rather than a nice navy blue.

I just saw on Shimelle's instagram stories that a punch class was supposed to be released Friday-here's hoping! I plan on scrapbooking tomorrow night, so fingers crossed, it would be very exciting!

I pulled out the turquoise Fitzgerald thickers and the Reason to Smile thickers are more blue than those. The unfortunate thing is that the blue does not match any of the blues in the patterned papers. |

Today in her Live, she did an unboxing of Reasons to Smile. I love hearing her explaining the reasons behind her designs. She specifically mentions that it’s not all “best day ever” and has some more realistic type expressions in there as well.

I looked at their website, and most of the items are available through secondary vendors, including ACOT. One vendor, Agave Market, has crazy high prices, including nearly $12 for the Thickers. Very strange, but happy for a small company like ACOT.
