She has the Mini Minc on sale with the coupon for $84.15. Is that a good price? Comes with a few foils and a September pup free stamp set. Who’s “she” and what coupon??? 😁 After watching Taylor show her bonus cards yesterday, and now looking at Michelle’s class I’m taking the plunge! Hubby is buying it for me for a b’day/anniversary gift. I was originally going to be gifted more ink storage, but who needs more storage when you can have cool toys instead? I’ve only got 4 extra inks right now anyway! Done enough exercise this morning that I’m ready to do some sitting at my craft table. I’ll be trying Kelly’s class today. Michelle Curie from Pink and Main. The website says you can't use coupons on the mini minc, but you can use the C&C Delivered coupon for 15%.

Just a quick story of how great SCT and Catherine are... Mom and I did a couple of the events together in the past, I would sign us up and get all squared away. I am not enough of a cardmaker to justify the expense this time around, I was surprised when my Mom said she signed up for it herself. She's pretty good with technology for 76, but not the best, and she's been pre-occupied taking care of my Dad thru some medical stuff this summer. We were talking a couple weeks ago and I said did you get your box notice yet? And she's like you know I'm not sure if I did all the payments, she thought she did the one time pay but I guess she didn't. I told her you better get on that - so she sent an email. Catherine called her directly and got her situated with payments and she got her box last week. Wow, that is very impressive. When Catherine does her event warm-ups and wrap-ups she always talks like her customers are her friends, and I've always wondered how true that can be, but I think it is true. From things like this, to knowing details about the names she pulls for prizes, like saying she knows them from the in-person events, etc - she seems very sincere. I've missed most of the classes today due to meetings but I can't wait to participate tonight!

marg , I'm sorry! I keep forgetting others didn't get off work for this. I would be VERY impatient if I had to work today... LOL. I am lucky I was able to take off. Are you doing Simon's class? I'm really looking forward to that.

Love the Honey Bee cards but I'm bummed. I cut everything in my Gemini Jr way before the class and my die cuts did not get the embossed images at all. I was missing a couple pieces so I recut them in my Platinum 6 and holy hat the embossing on the dies is amazing! All my cards are put together with no details on the dies and I just want to trash them and start over! The embossing shows up so well when inking over the die cut.

I'm sad to report that I have not seen a thing involving this event. I just returned from being away from home for two weeks and need to get caught up on the homefront. Hopefully tomorrow I can jump in. Hope you are all having a great time and enjoying the projects. Thanks for asking, @mdscrapoholic!

Work took over, then I got sick for a couple days. I've been enjoying seeing everyone post their cards!
I can't wait to start making cards for this but I'll probably do it next week when I have more energy. Did you see the sneak peek of the card Meghann Andrew is making tonight with the light up?
It looks super cute and I can't wait to see everyone's take on it.

Long day! But fun. I made a real mess in Simon Hurley's class and only one card turned out okay. I'll have to re-do the other two. It was fun getting messy with the new pastes! You can see part of my card with "yellow snow" in the upper left corner! LOL

Great cards! It looks like everyone is having a good time.
This is my 6th event. In past years I just watched and worked through the projects at my own pace. No stress, no rush. I loved it because it was relaxing and fun to learn. I never did the pre-prep and created each card from beginning to end. Every event I was just a little envious of all the cards everyone had at the end of the event and felt a bit left out.
Soooo... this time I pre-prepped, took off work, and have been following along with the classes. I am getting cards done, but I am already exhausted. And my desk is a huge mess because there is barely time to go to the bathroom and get a drink, let alone reset. After the first class I am working in a tiny space because the piles are encroaching. The event is not even half way done, but I am ready to be done. Rushing through the process is not fun for me. In fact, it is very stressful. And, I don't know how anyone sits so long during a day. My back is killing me!
The rest of the weekend and event will be watching and enjoying. I will carding making vicariously through everyone else and enjoying your creations. The rest of my cards will be made later. Lesson learned!

I'm trying to put away the rest of the Simon Hurley class now so I can get ready for tomorrow. I did not watch Meghann's card class - I figure I'll do that at a later date. Four classes a day is definitely my limit! I hope you will share your cards when you're done!

Meghan’s cupcake card is so cute. I love the idea of ink blending over some of the stripes. I just don’t want to give away the card with the light. That’s a super duper special card. BSnyder OMG my back is killing me too. I’m pooped and it’s only day 2! I only did 2 classes today and messed around with my Minc during the pink and main class. My plan is only to do what’s fun, then walk away when it gets stressful. We’ll see how much I get accomplished tomorrow.

As for photos of my cards, I can never figure out how to get photos posted to this board... But, I am enjoying yours.

I have scoliosis so I can only do a couple classes at my desk. Then I will watch a couple classes in bed on my massage pad

I love your Spellbinders cards, MDscrapaholic! Gorgeous! I am so happy we got the bow die, I'm going to use it a lot for Christmas tags. I am thinking I may need to take a break tomorrow. Maybe enjoy a bit of coloring for the Lawn Fawn class and some tinkering as I feel like it. But, I am definitely going to fit in some physical activity, because I cannot sit another day. lol I've never been able to do a full day of classes, its way too tiring. I pick a few each day that I want to do. I usually skip the Saturday night class so that I can watch TV with my husband, then he'll go to bed and I'll catch the evening wrap-up, for instance. The good news is that you've tried both ways and know what your preferences are now. Just a few weeks ago I finally finished all of the cards for last Fall's event. I did every single card, even the ones I didn't like (and usually I ended up really liking them, or at least knowing someone who would), and my gosh, was that a proud moment! So, that's kind of my timeline for these events - I'll take the year to finish them up lol. It really is a great value.

MDscrapaholic thanks for checking in. I've been doing the classes on delay (west coaster here). As I mentioned up thread that works best for me. After the four classes, I'm exhausted and need to do household stuff so I haven't been posting. I've mostly created the cards as instructed, but made a few changes. After the weekend I'll try to remember how to post photos. I made all card except for the infinity card. That was a no from me from just looking at the homework. Maybe after the weekend I'll give it a try. Looking forward to todays classes. And I have to say that the regular LF scarecrow stamp (Happy Harvest) set is one of my favorite LF sets ever and I'm looking forward to using that cute LF scarecrow girl. Although I'll come up with my own sentiments. The class sentiments are a little too puny for me.

Hey there friends. I’ve seen the LF scarecrow image and even though I’ve said countless times that LF is not my thing, she is adorable! If someone is willing to stamp and die cut a bunch (somewhere between 6-10) of that set for me in alcohol marker friendly ink, I’d be so grateful. I am super happy to stamp out images of your choice from the recent (or last spring’s) PF event as a trade. Let me know I would be glad to send you the scarecrow girls 😄 I’ll send you a DM when I drop them in the mail. Probably Monday or Tuesday! I am watching some classes and doing bits and pieces of the cards but I didn’t do most of my homework and am taking a very relaxed approach to the classes.

I finished all 3 of Gina's cards. I really like them, although the 3rd one is my least favourite fold. My husband is super impressed with them, which is really nice. Gina teaches at a good pace.
Onto Stephanie Barnard. I'm prepared for a wild ride lol.

I did all 3 of Stephanie's cards. She went at a slow pace, these 2 hour classes make such a difference.
As I was making the flip card I realized I own this die already - I own an SU one from at least a decade ago. So, now I know she designed that one back when SU used Sizzix.

What a day! I loved Gina K and Stephanie with Stamps of Life. They both kept the class moving, very lively. I got all three cards done in both. You're right marg , the two hour class does make a difference. I struggled with Lawn Fawn. I am not good at coloring, at all. There is no shading in my cards LOL. When I got to the last class... Christopher could not keep it moving along. I did the first card and then bailed. It's a beautiful stamp set. Stamps of Life - I loved these interactive cards! Lawn Fawn - I have no Copics. Only markers I have are the ones they've given us in the box. And Brutus Monroe I'm tired. Will skip the coloring with Angie Blom and call it a day.
