I'm going to be really pissed/disappointed if Vinny and Amber win. I'm fine with the other 3 teams but I just cannot stand Vinny. Wish I could read a spoiler of what happens. LOL

LOL I'm hoping that they will be the mid-leg elimination. But yeah, if someone could reliably tell me that they didn't win, I'd be happy to know that going in.

I'm happy with the final 3 and would have been glad if any of those 3 teams won, but I was rooting for the 2 that did win. It was a great season!

The winners ran the race almost perfectly. I was happy with any time f the final 3, but those guys really deserved it.
I love Leticia and Rob, though.

The proposal moment?! Give me a freakin break!!!
Loved the winners. They deserved it. Driving to another state during the final leg is not really ideal. lol Doh!
Any of those top 3 would have been fine with me too!

I was flipping between the amazing race and Chicago fire

I was so happy with the winners. They treated each other well throughout the race, and managed to keep up their persistence and encouragement during the difficult wind-surfing challenge. I kept thinking that if Amber had had to do the wind-surfing and took 30 minutes, she would have been so worried about disappointing Vinny and I don't know that he could be encouraging. I think we would have heard 30 minutes of him talking about how easy it would be for him.

Driving to another state during the final leg is not really ideal. That was funny and I just love their attitude about the whole thing.

I would have been happy with any of the final three- all good teams that treated each other well.
My joy of Vinnie and Amber being eliminated was ruined with the proposal. That was hard to watch. Ugh.

I felt bad for Juan and Shane. If that guy hadn't told them that they were looking for a pizza place, they wouldn't have gone to NJ. I think they may have won if they hadn't gotten so lost.

I was happy with the winners. They were my favorite team throughout the season.
I liked the other two top teams and was glad that Vinne and Amber got eliminated.
That proposal though...

So glad Vinnie and Amber didn't make the final. I fast forwarded through the proposal, and by the time I realized what had happened I had erased the recording. Any bets on how long the marriage will last?
I was really hoping either the married couple or the pilots would overtake them the last leg, like the second last. I liked both those teams. They worked so well together, and neither ever gave up. We used to have an Ad for an airline here in Canada with a closing line (character is seen wearing a Hawaiian shirt, sitting in an airplane seat, saying "Goin' to Winnipeg") and that has become a tag line for any situation where there is a shift in direction. Thinking that "We're in New Jersey?" could fit that kind of situation, too.
I am not sure if it was because the winning team got so much air time this season, or that they had such a huge language advantage in most of the countries on the race, but I found them annoying. And then the talk about needing the million dollars to start a family. Ummm... Lot's of happy families start with less money than that... Don't get me wrong: they deserved the win with all their first place finishes (unless you factor in the language advantage...)

Other than the surfboard sailing, it seemed like they had experience in everything...."I played softball for a few years in college", "I grew up in Philly", "I've visited Costa Rica several times so know the lay of the land", "I took culinary lessons for 2 years", "I have been parasailing several times". "I used to race cars in high school", "I used to work on a farm and know a lot about picking fruit", etc. (I'm sure I am exaggerating some of these, but it seemed like almost every episode they had some kind of experience in it.
They just seemed to have had a lot of life experiences, which really gave them several advantages.

I was relieved that Vinny & Amber were the first team to go. But oh gosh, that proposal, and the things that were said during it. He was going on about how he's better with her, and I'm thinking "How are you with other people??" and she said how the race has brought them closer together and again, I was a bit gobsmacked. I was happy to focus on the other 3 teams the second half of the show and would have been thrilled to see any of them win. It was a nice mix of tasks---physical, mental, time consuming & quick ones, ones that required teamwork and the preamble where they each had to do their own thing. Each team had times when they had advantages (Vinny can surf, Juan's good at puzzles, Ricky knows Philly), but also disadvantages (Juan & Shane got bad info, Leticia & Rod had no choice about who would do each roadblock, Ricky's balance was poor, while Cesar struggled to memorize in English). I felt like it was enjoyable in that the teams kept switching up their order from time to time, too. I liked that Rod & Leticia at least got the last 1st Place Leg win before the finale. And I was impressed to see Ricky & Cesar start off ahead, then drop to nearly last, but then to pull themselves back up to first again. All in all, it was an enjoyable season, which I wasn't sure about in the beginning due to it being the season that got skipped and having to go back to COVID type race changes.

We just had a chance to watch it tonight. So happy for the winners. They certainly deserved it. But I also would have been happy with any of the final 3 teams. I was so glad that Vinny and Amber were out. The proposal…ick.

Definitely! I think this is one of those things that makes any team really good---if together, the team does have a lot of different experiences or skills between them. If you were to try to choose someone to run the race with you, I think you want to find someone who can do a bunch of things you can't do and vice versa.

I agree with everyone that I would have been fine with any of the 3 teams in the final. Was hoping for the pilots though.
I was happy to see Amber and Vinny go. I would have been running in the other direction with his proposal as he really annoyed me. But I will admit we are only seeing what is probably (tops) an hour or two of a how many day trip? He might not be as bad as he came across…or maybe he is worse. 😆. I think the same about the mother and son team.
