I've made some more project bags and a zipper pouch. I'm experiencing a bit of pain in my elbow when I knit so I've put my socks aside for a few days.
Those are so cute!! I love the polar bear with the red sunglasses!!!

I've been working on a Halloween quilt. It was a quilt along for May. Even though it is June, I am still not done! I am hoping to get time to soon, I only have one more row to go.

Quick end of year teacher gift for my DS’s teacher. I designed it all myself start to finish. I’m attaching a Starbucks gift card to the back. Last day is tomorrow.

I have now made 15 full squares and I am really liking how the look, individually and as a group. I am still deciding between white and cream for my joining colour and the sleeves.

chaosisapony that’s gorgeous! Did you sublimate and then do epoxy?

chaosisapony that’s gorgeous! Did you sublimate and then do epoxy? Thanks, I'm so happy with it! I don't have sublimation equipment, no. I printed the decals on clear waterslide paper and put them over my glittered cup then did a layer of epoxy on top.

And we have a June finish!!! This is a needlepoint I started for DD over a year ago. Canvas is by Pip & Roo Needleworks. DD competed in Hunter Jumper in high school and still rides when she has a chance. Horses are her first love and she has a wall in her office dedicated to horse artwork. This will be finished like an ornament and will hang there. On Wednesday I will drop it at the needlepoint shop to send out for finishing. Will also be dropping off my 3 piece set from The Royal School of Needlework that took 30 years to fully complete. In my defense, we moved about 12 times in that time frame. Another reason it took so long is that this was charted needlepoint. It was like doing counted cross stitch, so no painted canvas and a lot of counting. I can confidently say Never Again!!! Once finished they will be set comprised of a wool tidy, a needle case and a pincushion.

I finally finished the large Casablanca blanket that I started two years ago! I did a few other smaller projects during that time so it wasn't two solid years. It was my first mosaic crochet blanket and it’s pretty heavy. I used worsted weight yarn and I think I may use a thinner yarn next mosaic project. The blanket currently is draped over the back of the sofa bed in our office that we use as a small library. We have other guest space so we only use that room for guests when we have a full house at Christmas. Guests can use it as additional bedding when they stay with us if they need to.

I was at Hot Topic today with the 12 year old and she wanted band tees. They were $22 each. Um, no. We hit Michael’s on the way home and I made these for less than $10 total plus some time on the computer. The black one is from The Neighbourhood (British spelling but apparently they’re from Newbury Park, CA) and the white one is a Conan Gray one. (Also, Yes, those are my tan feet 😂)
These look great and I'm sure that your child appreciated you making them but as a designer myself, are you in copyright infringement by using the image and not giving credit to the designer? I am very careful as to where I show/publish pictures of my own work as my creations are under my copyright.

I've been wanting to get back into crafting so I bought a latch hook pillow kit of a cute Highland Cow. I'll probably start on it this weekend but I've missed crafting and wanted to start something easy.

Oh that strawberry gingham one is adorable lainey! I’ve been plugging away at my Thingy-Ma-bob. I’ve started my last cake bundle. The assist fairies said the yardage listed in the pattern looked to give about 6 repeats, but I’m on my fourth or fifth (I forget) and it will be the last or I won’t have enough for the border rounds. Loving it! But eager to start something new when it is done.

Heading up to Edmonton for Quilt Canada in a couple of hours, with my little quilting group (my sister and 2 friends). We've VRBO'd a house for 5 days.
We'll be taking a class on Thursday We've signed up for a lecture on Friday regarding WW11 quilts. We'll be wandering the marketplace the rest of Friday. Going to Emmeline Bags probably for a few hours once we arrive today.
Besides the class, we'll be making totes and ipad covers, at the house, plus we all have crochet/knitting/more quilting projects.
We're going to have a blast!

lainey the cat fabric!!! Omgoodness! I ❤️❤️❤️! Sixel design posted a new pattern on Instagram the other day that she is releasing on July 1. Of course, I will make it. All things Halloween, right? The Instagram post was orange/black. I was pretty sure the orange and black was the way to go for me. But this week she's been posting tester's blankets and she posted this gray/blue and black one and it's caught my eye. What do you guys think? Especially you gillyp as you thought maybe green would be good.
