Pokey Peas Challenge for August 2024

Hello Pokey's!

Thanks for joining me last night. I was awfully chatty but it was fun lol. I'm thinking of opening a crop on Monday if anyone is going to be around to play. Starting at either 11AM EST or 3pm EST whichever works for anyone. I thought I might crop today but I have to get some things done that I've been putting off around here. So today will be catch up, no idea what tomorrow may bring, but I do have to get in some solid scrapping to get at least one sample ready for Thursday lol.

And yay! Opening night of the NFL is Thursday too! I hope the chiefs don't lose at home on opening night like they did last year lol. I have my yearly obsession back lol.

Hi nylene, yes back to normal around here, although lots going on and changes coming. I’m going back to college in Sept, just 3 classes this first semester to get used to it. I’m doing a Library Technician Diploma. It’s been 30+ years since I was in school!

We stayed at a relatives beautiful cottage up north on Lake Kawagama. It was wonderful and the kids had the best time. I took lots of photos!

If you open a crop at 11:00 Eastern on Monday, that would work best for me, joyfulnana. I am hoping I will be able to take on a SKETCHtember sketch then--either a take on the Monday sketch, or my sample for next Saturday.

Dd & hubby dropped in to pick up the dogs and we did a little garden harvesting. The corn is ready and I can hardly wait to have some for supper. Our nephew's wife dropped in to pick up some broccoli. And on Tuesday I will be dropping off cukes and cauliflower at dh's sister's house.
