Unless KP offers something I will just use my stash. Goodness knows I don’t need a darn thing, but I cannot resist KP. I doubt we will see anything from her, so I think I am safe. I bought all her paper last year and I have no idea why. The patterns were just so good. I hardly used any of them. Luckily there were a ton that weren't very xmas-y so I'm using them elsewhere. If she releases this year, I am buying a kit so I will have things to mix and match. Hold me to this. I did not need like 64 sheets of paper or whatever it was. I love her stuff so much. I did use up a lot of the stickers I bought. |

I have a whollllle bunch of her stuff- and I agree— it was/is so fantastic for all the Dec leading up to Christmas Eve and Christmas Day… as well as those days, the colors and icons are always so rich and clean and beautiful! And I love the mushy puffy stickers and their scale. I love that she did patterns on both sides and repeats. It made it so I could experiment and feel less precious. I went through soooo much of my Kelly backstock last year! I am going to be so bummed when it dwindles and becomes precious. |

I did use up a lot of the stickers I bought. Buyer beware. She sent me the wrong stamp last year-numbers instead of alphabet-and never had the decency to respond to my numerous emails. Then, a pea said she had the same thing happen, she got the alphabet instead of the numbers, and wanted to trade. So I held off disputing with my cc company. The pea never responded, so I was shit out of luck. I should have listened to more of the peas here who had been screwed over by Kelly. Lesson learned. |

Layle By Mail is going to be releasing her December kit and pre-order for her DD will happen that day as well. Monday, August 25th at 4:00 PM pacific time

I feel worried about AE DD is they are the only Christmas kits and supplies I purchase. I am super behind in my Christmas albums. I will still order from AE as it is most my style what I love even if they are late. I was hoping to scrapbook this year during real time and also in November doing last years album. We shall see.

Last year we had seen a whole lot of sneak peeks of the DD kits by this point, but this year it's just been the one post which didn't actually have real product in it. I know there are lots of shopping hold ups with Ali Edwards stuff at the moment, is that the same for everything in the US? Really hoping we'll see some soon!

I think Trump imposing tariff on China's goods has a lot to do with the delay in shipping and no DD sneak peeks.

I think AE sneak peaks are being held up by the Cats and Dogs thing. Once that's over, I think we will see sneaks. Either way if the box opens on August 26 we will have the full collection revealed in the next two weeks cause that's all that's left of August until then so I'm pretty excited.
FYI - ACOT just started a 20% off coupon code.
I bought all the pre-order stuff that was in my cart (mostly Simple Stories and a couple of pieces of Echo Park paper).
I have nothing else to add just excited to be here.

Watching Ali's videos for the upcoming DD always gets me so excited for Christmas. I bought last year's products but didn't use them, so I will use them for DD this year instead of buying new.
I always do SCT's Holiday event in November, so I'm excited for that. It's a mix of cards, layouts, and a mini album, usually. I don't do the mini album, I use the scrapbook collection for more layouts. This year they're using Rosie's Studio and Echo Park Christmas Collections. I thought when I signed up it said Simple Stories, but I'm not sure.

Instead, four projects on the blog (5 days in the week yall!) and ONE that made it through the Facebook approval…. That’s IT—- hardly blocking the way for DD sneaks Hahahah My company went from a big company party every year for on clock afternoon at a local amusement park (included food and games cards with family invited) plus a formal Winter Dinner Party (also plus ones) to literally an ice cream truck on a summer day at lunchtime. (FWIW- this scale back was pre-covid.) They hyped that ice cream cone (during off the clock lunch break) for weeks!!! You’d have thought it was the best trade- ever! AE needs to dig up our old HR lady to make it feel like Cats and Dogs effort was something lol! I miss the old “design team” days. While they are at it—- a shipping update, even if it’s “f-you- you shouldn’t have believed us” would have been nice. The week of Aug 4 is gone. On the order confirmation screen it says 20 times— begin shipping Aug 4. Has ANYONE gone from active to shipping?? |

It says the post office accepted the package, but no date of delivery yet. |

Remember last year we got a sneak of them sitting around with the new products for a meeting. it’s starting to feel like everything was on the same dumb shipment that was delayed but it sure would be nice if they just came out and said so. |

I bought the 49 & Market Mistletoe line. Very happy with my purchase. I will add that it has a lot of fun items in the ephemera packs.
A large door that opens, a snow globe you can alter, cards and pockets that you fold on the creases and attach.

So maybe they had to make a quick change I don't see why Jana's stepping down from simple stories would affect SCT. Jana is stepping down from doing her simple stories quarterly classes. I don't think the two are related. |

I feel like Ali is phoning it in, all year long. There has been no real effort in projects this year, at all. I feel like everything is just throw together at the last minuet. No excitement, or hype - just eh. Here's 'x,y,z' for sale, buy it all...and then crickets til the day of documenting and then crickets til she finally gets around to creating something. It all makes me not want to spend money with her. Then add in all the regurgitated designs and also shipping issues? Hard pass with anyone attached to Inked or Ali right now for me. Edited to add: Ali just sent out the new email for the newest subscriptions and not a word about shipping issues from the past two months. No 'everything has shipped' or 'we are in the process of shipping'. NOTHING. To me, thats unacceptable and tells me Ali doesn't really care at this point. |

Wow, I read a bit of the Ali thread and I would be really frustrated with the delays. I wouldn’t want to be trying to price imported items for sale right now, I’m sure the chaos is very stressful for all involved. Can people really trust that things will arrive in time for prepping ahead of Christmas? I’m assuming the prices are going to be through the roof too.

I love this sneak. I have a TON of stars…and I will 100% buy and use this kit as long as we get clarity on shipping transparency for DD. I think part of my love of stars is that I can use them for other projects outside of DD. Just like hearts, very easy to repurpose. Really hoping the rest of the collection delivers.
