I have a lot of snow globes so I will be passing on those. I am looking forward to seeing what they do with them because I love a good snow globe.
I'll probably pick up a couple of things from Elles Studio. I usually don't use their cards or papers much.

Where they get me is damn contributors using the products during the boxing period and things I KNEW I didn’t want made it into my cart because of their creativity. Looking mostly at you, Pam Baldwin!!!So true. I don’t even make paper scrapbooking projects any more but I still have to be careful watching Pam because she’s so good! Pam is so creative with whatever she's working with that even if I initially passed on the item, after seeing what she's done, it's in my cart. They should have her do vids every day on the blog leading up to the boxing period. They'd sell out in no time. |

Has anyone heard if there will be a delay in shipments or if product is on time to arrive? That's going to be my biggest factor in what I buy. That’s the million dollar question and I hope everyone gets a clear answer before committing to any purchases. I would be concerned about the impact of the end of the de minimus exemption for all countries on Aug 29. I’m imagining the administrative backlog of processing tariffs/fees on all packages arriving in the country, big and small, might completely f-up the customs process, not to mention the post office and couriers. I don’t know if anyone knows what impact this will have, or if the administration will flip flop or delay when the shit hits the fan. I’m no expert, but if the product isn’t already on shore, I wouldn’t trust that it will get through customs on time. I sent an email over the weekend asking about this. Hopefully she addresses it online. I'll post if I get a reply. Otherwise, I'm going with Vicki Boutin. Love her line for this year! |

If they are small enough I run them through my mini xyron sticker maker, staples or Ranger Medium Matte Glue. The sticker maker and that Glue doesn't show through. I'll try the xyron. I've used the medium matte glue and that's come up. mom-lightbulb moment! I didn't think of sewing them on. Lg-I'm glad I kept that Making Memories eyelet setter with the mini hammer. Bonus is that I have a ton of eyelets to use up. And I'm going to run with your idea about the canvas pockets on the back cover. I couldn't figure out how to use them. This is perfect! The plastic stars was the one item I was sad to have missed out on. ----------------- I'm intrigued by the snow globes but I'm confused how you can build a scene behind/within without it bending awkwardly. Does that make sense? ----------------- Carolynhasacat-It's hard to know. It sure would be helpful to hear from Inked or AE if they have products in the warehouse. Except for the stamps. If they do a preorder like last year, those would still need to be shipped over. Or are those done in the US now? |

Looking at the flat-lay sneak pic from the email — there are SO MANY different fonts going on. And that doesn’t even include the weird font on the 3” plastic circles (with the oversized lowercase “e” tilted sideways), or Ali’s scribble writing you know will be present.
It’s all so mishmash.

Part of me wonders if there appears to be a mish mash because they are clearing old stuff out of the warehouse that they didn't use in the past. Those snowglobes look 2016 to me.
There actually hasn't been anything (yet- I'm sure there will be!) that I don't already have a similar (but better) stash item, or I just don't like it, all together.
As an aside... I'm kinda feeling ick about all the plastic in my scrapbooking these days. I was kind of happy when alot moved outside the page protector (why didn't I think of that hahaha) and I was using less of those. But now there are packets of 20-30 tabs, and circles and hearts and stars. I didn't start feeling this way until recently, probably because they have become part of every release. I personally need to be more mindful.

Was there another email with sneaks? The last one I got from Ali was a couple of days ago about a stamp sale, but I've disappeared off their list before!
I'm worried about the price with all the tariffs, plus shipping costs and conversion internationally 😬 I can get Christmas papers from lots of other places, but I really loved the embellishments and extras last year and hope this year will be similar. The large gold chipboard words, plastic trees, cork gingerbread men, and the decorations... Haven't seen much like that yet for the main kit so here's hoping!

Do we think the live tomorrow is the main kit and one other mini kit and the live Thursday is everything else? I am assuming they are splitting it up. I am worried I am only going to like a few pieces of the main kit and then struggle with paying a hefty price tag when I don’t like half of it.
This may be the year I actually opt out of the main kit. As someone else said, I think all of the different fonts look chaotic. I am just not seeing cohesiveness - but hoping maybe when we get the full reveal it will make sense. I just loved how easy it was to use the main kit last year.

I don’t think they will show full anything. It’s a teaser and pretty sure they did the same thing last year.
I’m fine with that, it’s a marketing tool. I just want honesty about availability.
Seeing albums in color would be nice. I hate paying shipping so if I don’t buy an AE album, it’s a hard sell for me. I’ll have to buy one elsewhere, with more shipping.

I think I will pass on the star kit - though after I see it in full I may change my mind - but probably not. I wonder if there will be an advent calendar this year? I have only purchased one before in 2023. It looks like the top stripe album may be the 10x8 one and since I have so many 10x8 Christmas albums, I think I will pass on that also. If they mark the 10x8 floral Christmas one down more - I would purchase that. I am liking a lot of what I see so far and not minding the different fonts. I feel like I use so little of the kits that it doesn’t make a big difference to me - I am photo heavy with big photos in my most of my albums. I do love the plastic circles and the font on them too. I am looking forward to seeing all of the different circles. Thank you mom for sharing all the sneaks! ☺️ Edited to add: I love that DEC felt word is in the main kit according to the box sneak. I hope they have felt numbers that color too as an add-on. |
