Sew - either by hand with embroidery floss or with my sewing machine. Sewing machine - I never thought of sewing the plastic tags. I love using my sewing machine for scrapbooking and do regularly. Now I will sew these on my pics. TFS. Go slow! But it's doable!

Thank you for posting photos, it's been crazy busy around here. I completely forgot about DD.
I am not impressed at all... and that vintage is so bad. The red still looks too orange for me, but that could be my monitor. It's not quite TS orange, but I'm getting those vibes. Maybe it's the horrible aged yellow? Sorry to anyone who loves it, I hope you make it look amazing!

How is everyone adhering these plastic shapes besides stapling them? I've tried redline tape, which holds most of the time, but not always. Liquid glue, Aleene's Tacky glue & Glossy Accents, not at all. If they are small enough I run them through my mini xyron sticker maker, staples or Ranger Medium Matte Glue. The sticker maker and that Glue doesn't show through.

Another sneak. We have had some of these patterns before I think? The falalala and trees I’m pretty sure were previous papers or cards before.

I like the plastic pieces. I'm not typically into vintage looks but I already bought a couple of Simple Stories papers from their Xmas line that is vintage.
Who am I?
2025 has me going back to the days when I first started scrapbooking. 2000 I am here for you again.

Once again I’m 50/50 with what I’ve seen so far. With a star theme in mind I went through my stash and I may just have enough to not buy a thing… but me actually not buying anything never happens! I figure I’m buying it now so when and if finances change in the future and I just can’t afford the shipping costs any more I’ll have enough to play along. Definitely seeing a lot of pattern repeats in what I’ve seen so far. Not sure I’m a fan of that, but if I do buy a kit I’ll probably just sell what I don’t like just like last year. Keep your eyes peeled Aussie peas 😁 And having grown up in a brown and yellow house with a school uniform that was brown and yellow I have absolutely no interest in any “vintage” or yellow coloured pieces. Happy some peas love them and happy for my back pocket that I’m not a fan.

Eyelets if you have them in your stash (I bought Christmas colours just for dd) #1 is good as you can swivel the plastic piece and have something underneath if you want

I don’t know if Ali has done similar - maybe before I was following her- but those papers you mentioned were similar to Heidi Swapp’s collection 2 years ago. The trees were pink in Heidi’s but very similar black and white fa la la paper.

Just looking back to previous AE kits, she's done most of these patterns before. So far I'm not impressed.

Whilst not inspired by the 2025 kit so far (I’m also seeing so many repeats of papers etc already in my stash I can use without spending any $$$), I did rewatch an older dd album flip through, got inspired, and made a star wreath for the inside of my album to house a reason why. This was also helped by the fact that I went stash diving and brought out all of my star shaped items that I never got around to using… I’m looking at you gold flaked cork stars, messy acrylic stars and felt stars from previous dd kits…
I also finally stuck those canvas pouches (with tags) from the 2023 release on the back cover and used stayz on to stamp the initials of my family members.
Can’t believe I did all of this in August but I’m waiting on photos for pl and was feeling crafty, and Im the type of crafter who has to go with the flow and craft when I’m inspired if I ever want to finish!
If peas have any pages they’ve created with a star based theme please feel free to share pics on here as I’m collecting inspo as I’m really excited about a star themed album for 2025!

I am just doing regular layouts in the kids albums but my gosh the AE sneak peaks are doing zero for me. And it seems like a weird mash of things. The vintage plastic pieces do not go with the pockets that don't go with the papers. It's just random stuff she has used before put together. Zero harmony in my opinion.

I think those plastic snow globes are awful. Decent idea, terrible execution.
I am equal parts really relieved that nothing i have seen Ali sneak is remotely tempting me, and also disappointed that nothing looks fun & exciting. 😆

I am not sure how I feel about the snow globes, but do already have some super cute HS ones that I will use - if I even use any at all. I only used one a long time ago.
Also, I remember a crate paper Christmas line with some snow globes and embellishments, and I still have some of those.

The Elle’s one seems like the same usual stuff they offer (classic? boring?) but is much more appealing to me than anything AE has shared so far. I feel like there are lots of card makers here who could die cut nicer snowglobe elements to share with DD scrappers!

I’m a big fan of doing creative stuff while you’re feeling inspired and in the flow and even better if it reinforces that what you already have is better than filling a DD box with stuff that’s not very exciting, costs a fortune, and might not even arrive in time for Christmas!

Elle’s Studio is consistently good, I won’t say boring and they have AMAZING customer service. I used one of their past collections with the navy included and really like that DD album. They usually have nice background paper with lines and grids so photos become the focus.

I do notice the repeat from HS with the trees but I didn’t buy the papers for that collection - just embellishments. I am liking the colors and patterns. I am looking forward to seeing everything together and making my list. ☺️

My wish is for Ali to do a small alphabet stamp- like the size of last years holiday one- with that font used on those three inch plastic circles. I have the bigger size of that alpha and I love it but it’s hard for me to use in my projects due to the size.
***also relieved nothing is a must have for me as of yet. It will be annoying to pay boxing shipping price if I only get a couple things. You really can’t wait for dd if you like something as it will be likely to sell out.
I agree Elle’s studio had great service but their style doesn’t work for me. I find it boring and sometimes childish for lack of a better word. But sometimes I do really like a couple of the cards, but not enough to buy. I subbed to them for a few months to try it out and I never reach for any of their products.

I just looked and the the 'falalala' paper is from 2017. I think the tree paper is from the SC/AE kit that was orange instead of red? I may be remembering that wrong though. But it was an early DD release.

It’s plain enough that it coordinates easily with most things. Their paper is a great background layer because it won’t pull a lot of attention, so focus can be on pics or embellishments. I also appreciate their paper weight is not flimsy, but not super thick either - it’s great for layering without making a huge ton of bulk.

Hey everyone, it's been a minute since I posted but I've been lurking on the DD sneaks and wanted to join in.
I haven't seen anything I need to have yet. Thinking about tariffs though and wondering if I should just go all digital this year?
Looking forward to seeing more and getting hyped for DD 2025.

I have a much cuter version of a snow globe from lawn fawn and as it is a die set I can use one every year if I want… and there are matching stamps too so it can be customised. The one thing I will say is at least it is an element I haven’t seen from ae in a past kit and at least they are listed separately for purchase even if they are not for me.

So true 😁 the one thing that always gets me is the capped shipping cost as I usually use this to my advantage to get albums, as shipping for one album for me is usually about $20 per album so it’s worth trying to get discounted ones in my box. Then I end up buying things I don’t need as I have capped shipping. Sigh. I am a sucker.

Ali and her team have often shared DD sneak peeks that don't go together. I remember we had the same first impression last year. 😊 I think the plastic circles aren't from the main kit. Maybe a vintage kit?

Maybe a vintage kit? True…. But I just do not understand this as a marketing tactic? They are on purpose showing me mismatched items so I want their product less and am turned off by it? Case in point es is not my style but their sneak showed me what to expect and I am more excited about their release than ae.
