It's literally all over target ( more) and every store I look at. The last time this was in style was when I was in middle school, a long long time ago. I'm afraid to invest too much into this trend knowing it will go back out of style so fast. Is anyone else embracing this trend?

Hate it. What's the point of sleeves if the shoulders are cut out?

Didn't it start last year or before? I think we even had a thread. My upper arms are ugly. If I had sinewy shoulders and biceps I might like it

I might buy one shirt, but I definitely will not be dropping $$ on it. This trend wont last.

I hate it because I find it unattractive. I won't buy anything in the style.

Most people I see wearing it probably should not be.

I feel some of those shirts are not practical if I'm wearing a purse on my shoulder. You know the ones where it's competently off your shoulder, not just a peek a boo shoulder.

Hate it and won't buy it. I can't even stand the really tiny little cap sleeves that pretty much every women's t-shirt has these days.

If it seems super trendy, I'm not buying. I don't need a closet full of clothes I can wear for a season or two. I'm just too cheap. And this does strike me as a trend and not a classic style.

Man, I can't even get SO to hang my regular clothes correctly... I just KNOW those would never make it onto the hanger correctly in my closet!
Also, how does it not constantly feel like your clothes are falling off?!

I recently bought a top that was described in the store as a cold-shoulder top. I bought it because I loved the colours and pattern of the fabric, not so much because of the style. It is a bit different to the other cold shoulder tops I've seen. I prefer it because it hides my arms!

I'm going against pretty much everyone above LOL.
I really like them, that have been very popular in our recent Summer. I don't mind baring my arms but I've found that a nice cold shoulder top can be very flattering as they cover the flappy bits but are still cool and don't look as covered as a full t-shirt. Oh and you can still wear a normal bra with most of them.
I'm not a big fan of the straight across ones because I wear a strapless bra as little as possible.

Mine don't feel like they are falling off, I guess it comes down to style and fit.

I think they look good on some people.
My daughter has a few and she looks great.
Me? I wouldn't even attempt wearing them. I'd look ridiculous.

Sorry - I'm having trouble focusing on Gina's cold shoulders - her arm candy is too distracting.

I am sitting here cracking up right now. I don't care what all of you haters say, I LOVE cold shoulder tops annnnnnnd I knew I had the photo evidence to prove it! LOL This is literally just a few quick pics from the past 8 or so weeks. Sorry not sorry. I love 'em! Oh for goodness sake! You're absolutely gorgeous and I have to be honest, if I looked like you I would be wearing them daily! I guess I don't get out much because I've so far not seen anybody looking as fabulous as gina does. I suppose I should change my post to "I find them unattractive on me".

I think they look cute on some people but I don't tend to like them on me. My coworker has pretty much only bought cold shoulder tops for the last two years. She can't get enough!

The Bay here won't even call them "cold shoulder" tops. They call them open-shoulder tops or what have you. Do they think cold shoulder sounds too mean? I mean we know what they are called already.

I'm not a fan me because I find them too cold in a uncomfortable way...like wearing flip flops with jeans. They look great on other people though.
