kiwigirl I love that collection on black, it really pops. I also used to use brackets around my titles all the time, I'm going to do that again this weekend. grammadee that page is gorgeous! I love the photo and the soft vintage papers you've chosen.

grammadee, both of your wedding layouts are so beautiful. I love the textures from all the layers of pretty papers! kiwigirl, I've said this before, but I learn so much from studying the ways you scrap. This time I'm developing a real appreciation for the way your papers look against that black background. Really stunning! Chinagirl828, I love seeing how you're handling your childhood photos (so I can figure out what to do with mine. I like the way you take your color inspiration from your photos, but you use those colors in a really soft way so your papers don't overwhelm your photos. gramma, his smile has me smiling - what an achievement! KikiPea, your Good Stuff layout - such a beautiful photo! The papers you chose are a really nice complement to the sunset. JaneB, your titles and journaling are always my favorite parts of your pages! Linda, I love the bright colors on all your pages kitbop, all the little details! I adore both of these pages. Well, all your pages! mom, the photo and the journaling! - and the perfect title. crystalb, great papers and embellishments on both your pages - so much book themed stuff! The photo on the left cracks me up And all the drawn borders and doodling on your movie page - those details bring so much! MDscrapaholic, I have twins too - I get what you mean about wanting to even it out when you're scrapping them. I like your layering a lot. you don't look like you're struggling with it at all - you look like an old pro at it! DawnMcD, that strong horizontal band - I love it. I already picked out a group of photos that I want to use when I scraplift your layout! Thank you all so much for sharing your pages!

mom, beautiful layout, love the photo and lovely card. kitbop, Love your layout. I love how you played with color on it. Don't buy the 12x12 paper pad of Shine On anyone, you only get half the papers (same with the 6x6, it's the same as the 12x12). I have only just discovered this and I'm annoyed cause all the ones I liked are not in the paper pad, That's just annoying. Also, I left love on your I Can & I will on another thread. Type2Life is a beautiful layout. How can you be blue with all that loveliness?! Linda, I like that background paper a lot on the Friends layout. My dd would go crazy for a pink dinosaur. The snake photo gives me the willies, but I like the dragonfly. grammadee, left love on another thread for Wedding Day. Love the shabby chic feel to your inlaw's wedding photo page. JaneB, beautiful page. I love all of your elements and the colors. Chinagirl828, Love your pixie layout. Everything about it! I really like the Sunnies too with it's soft colors and layers. Happy BirthdayKikiPea, fantastic layouts. You're really on a roll. gramma, Love your title work and your layout. How exciting!

Another one for me. I haven't scrapped any childhood photos in years but for some reason I'm loving it again. This one meets the stash, splatter it, be there or be square, rock the rectangles, border patrol, put a stamp on it, alphas (for the BG pink alpha), scraps, more fun when we're together, single photo, and stars challenges.

Happy Birthday Chinagirl828 !!! I know it's already tomorrow over there but it's still your birthday over here, keep celebrating! I love that Sunnies LO, it's just so beautiful. You have such a knack for putting together simply stunning papers and making them so pretty! I don't see any Shimelle in your LO's, her LO's are always a massive mess to me, so many busy papers competing with each other, it always hurts my brain! Your LO's are just superb! I was feeling blah this afternoon and I read a thread on a diabetes forum titled 'type 2 life' and I liked it, so I used it as my title. I also pulled out my most favourite collection ever, BG Highline to try and cheer myself up. I love that collection, it always looks good no matter what I do with it (I think anyway - you must all agree with me, I'm feeling blue ). I am taking 14 points for this one. I'm clearly seeing the challenges I use over and over now lol! gramma I have taken a point for your #14 Trendy challenge for using the brackets around the word, I hoped this is what you meant when you posted the challenge? I remember the trend where every title had brackets around it, I always used the brackets on my Thickers up! I used that real old set (they're vinyl and I had to stick em down with Glossy Accents cause that glue wasn't good anymore) and it reminded me of the bracket trend. So I've taken a point for that challenge Yep that's what I meant. All those things we thought were so cool. I'm waiting for someone to use decorative scissors or cut their pics into shapes

Thank you all for the comments on my Type 2 LO. I started on white cardstock - as you do, had my papers laid out and thought, I'll try this on kraft and see what it looks like (since there's a kraft challenge) and it looked awful. So I tried black and yes madam, bingo! grammadee wow, what beautiful papers! So gorgeous and I love the little cluster of flowers, you haven't gone over the top and added too many, it's just perfect Chinagirl828 those seahorses and your layering, just perfect as always! Love your style!

Happy belated Birthday Chinagirl828, your pages are lovely. grammadee lovely page again, with the torn edge and small flower cluster, very romantic and shabby chic. kiwigirl, brilliant title and love the dramatic black background and vibrant colours. I produced nothing either on my husband's day off or yesterday, just couldn't get going

Not many challenges met but I like the page. That's what matters! I love the page, love the metal bar and the pops of red. I also love how you've just got stuck in and done digital pages and made the challenges work for you, way to go! I admire that attitude

I wish the photo wasn't so blurry. The layered background on this one was inspired by justjac 's Lovely Day layout from last month. Challenges: #6 square, #7 rectangle, #9 border, # 14 trendy (mini punch strip), #19 nuvos, #20 mixed media (gelatos, watercolors, acrylics), #23 alphas (repeated letter I to form track), #26 glitter (glitter paint on the gems), #32 scraps, #33, together, #34 torn edges, #35 kraft, #37 dimensional (rhinestones), #43 single not 4x6. DH is in this one. DD15 loved it! DH just rolled his eyes at it. Challenges: #6 square, #7 rectangle, #43 single not 4x6 Challenges #6 square, #7 rectangle, #9 border, #14 trendy (chalked edges), #19 nuvos, #21 wood and metal (does wood grain paper count? the metal are brads on the wheel), #33 together, #34 torn edge

Wow! So much creativity today! msliz , those Disney pages are really fun. I love all the extra little touches. Hoping to have lots of Disney photos to scrap after our trip next week, so glad of all the ideas I can get. Love that you took photos of all the details in the honeymoon suite, KelleeM , and I like your use of hearts and gold. That cat in the hat 2-pager takes crafting to the next level, gramma : first you made the costumes and then you scrapped about it. Awesome! craftykitten this page is super cute! I love those little stamped and coloured mice and all of the little extra bits. MDscrapaholic, that is one cool Halloween page. Such cute little trick or treaters, and I may need to steal that grid-within-a-grid design.

I'm loving the layouts so much! Chinagirl828 - the seahorses looking at the photo? The title alphas? Love it! JaneB - LOVE the contrast of the red and blue, the red heart pp, the design...and I think you should take a point for "trendy" because the pinked strip in the upper right reminds me of the zig-zag twill I still have in my stash! msliz - my favourite things about your layouts is the grid layout and all the fun bits you did on it, especially that doily with the rainbow dots - over the edge of the square, an amazing accent for the page. And the 4th page, the "flags" are a great design element! KelleeM - "bubbly on the balcony" - great cluster in the upper right! Love the colours. And "honeymoon suite" is lovely, the gold splatters are perfect. gramma - well, that couldn't be more perfect! Love it all, rows of nuvo drops? Yup! craftykitten - love how you colour matched the colour of the wheel and pp, the vertical design, and great mouse stickers!!! Cute story too. MDscrapaholic - you did an amazing job using lots of fun halloween icons here without crowding the photos. Looks amazing. It's a season I need to scrap, and avoid because I find the colours and cute cute icons challenging.

I am claiming this as a Donna Challenge. I took The History Project class from Kerri Bradford years ago and although I have written many pages of my experiences, there was a story I knew I needed to write. When I saw this butterfly my heart hurt. I remember how sad I was to always be in the lowest reading group at school...the Tiger Swallowtails. It took a wonderful 4th grade teacher to determine to teach me to read, and she did. I wrote the whole story and it's tucked in a pocket between the layers.
I wrote out all my points and lost it. Arrgh! #1 Spatter (so out of my comfort zone) #2 Insects #7 Rectangle page #15 School Experience (not sure this counts) #22 Flower #28 Donna Challenge 2 pts #29 Dies #32 Scraps #37 Pop dots #43 Single photo #46 Inspired by The History Project by Kerri Bradford 1 page 1 pt, posted 1 pt. Total 14 pts.
