Just for you, here's TP with its new friends: Don't worry I have all their cases and manuals safely tucked away, just don't keep my games in them because it stresses the disks. Stupid NA case design, wish we had the EU one; it was much kinder. I bought my GC bundle specifically so I could get that promotional Zelda disk back in the day. The rest are a mix of thrift finds and retail purchases. Very lucky in that I have most of the 'elusive' GC titles that are really hard to get now in the genres I like, NA Pokemon Box, Melee, Super Mario Sunshine, Chibi Robo and Path of Radiance. And of course, all the Zelda titles. I know it was seriously underpriced - one thing I have to say for my local thrift store, they have no clue when it comes to video games how to price stuff. Just put the same price on everything for a given system I guess. I played TP back in the day on the Wii (I have both versions now!) but I got stuck at that dammable water temple. Sort of gave up, I should go back and give it another chance. I would agree with you it's far more exciting than the embossing plates but this is a crafting board, so I figured most people here would be 'meh, videah-games, who cares'. I lived and breathed stickers as a kid. Some of the fiercest disputes (and a good portion of ending one lifelong friendship) came down to stickers. They were the currency of choice, but I rarely was willing to part with anything I didn't have in double. Every time I'm in a dollar store as an adult, I look at all the stickers and other craft stuff and go 'kid-me would have done some serious gymnastics for access to all of this'. Stickers were darn expensive back in the day, more than they cost now and that's not even accounting for inflation. Be safe, watch the water. Flooding is no joke!

Haha, some childhood things come back in style. I found tomagotchi's at Target (the old school graphics and whatnot...is that called analog???...no updates at all) not that long ago. Those were huge when I was in the 7th grade. I'm just DYING for pogs to make a comeback (a few years further back). Totally not scrapbook related, but you know...just reminiscing. I search on eBay on occasion for Pogs/Slammers. I remember going to the local dollar stores for sheets of them when I was probably 7ish. Lol, I remember pogs & slammers. I'm pretty sure I still have a tube of them stashed in the attic.

Embri- OMG! Look at those beautiful discs! I love them. That collection is worth a lot. Game Cube was the best Nintendo console. It had such a great library. My DH was like "OHHHHHHH!" ROFL! That is drool worthy. Thank you for sharing. Girl I am telling you Reddit GirlGamer for you. Are you getting a Switch? I was waiting till after E3. Nintendo was announcing two new Switches. Now, they are not announcing two new Switches. They are driving me crazy, lol. I told my DH if they don't bring Animal Crossing the side eye from me is going to be huge, lol. I love FE: Path of Radiance. That one is worth a lot of money now. FE- Three Houses is being shown at E3 this year. I understand about the cases. I really don't like any of the game cases from any of the big consoles. I am always like "Are you trying to break my games, lol." The only games I still have in cases are my Sony Playstation Portable. Yes, I do still play the PSP. My Nintendo 3DS & DS collection if I did not take them out of the case they would have taken over my home by now, lol. Kid me still goes bonkers at Dollar Tree for stickers and crafting stuff. One of the cashiers shares my love. When I go to check out she is always squealing at my finds. She is my age, lol. Pog fans I have good news Pogs are back. Well kind of. There is a mobile game being developed for them. Best part you can scan in your old Pogs-

That is drool worthy. GameCube is the console I have the most games for, somewhere ~60 titles. Happily I've never been the sort to give up one console to get the next, so I have all the games I've ever owned, all the way back to Pokemon Blue and LoZ: Link's Awakening, which were my first two. I've been contemplating a Switch, but more seriously a New 3DS XL. I haven't gotten a console/handheld since the original Wii era. Nothing wrong with playing what you've already got; I have so many games I don't really *need* more at this point. Want is another beast entirely! I've spent so many hours on Animal Crossing in its various iterations, not gonna lie. The GC version is my favourite because it's got those hidden retro NES Nintendo games inside the game, which was mind-blowing at the time. Game-ception!

found these at GW yesterday.2 toille albums: 8x8 and 12x12 (be perfect for my Williamsburg trip) 2 CTMH kits...already started using one of them and 2 misc paper packs. I hardly ever find any SB supplies at that store so I was surprised. The wi fi was out and they couldn't take credit cards, so I had to go to the bank and get some cash. The bank had a new ATM and I couldn't figure out how to work it! Fortunately, they were still open so they gave me some $$!
I also saw a Bibleopoly game and went back today and got it to play with my grands when they come this week.

@elaynef I love the black and white album. It is so beautiful. That $1.99 price is amazing. I love the kits. I heard Bibleopoly is a really good game. I have friends that love it. You scored a great haul. Embri The 3DS is an amazing system. You can get the new 2DS for a better price. It just doesn't have the 3D. I hardly use my 3D on my 3DS. The 3DS plays all Nintendo DS & of course 3DS games. That is a massively huge library. The games are so frugal. Last weekend I bought several DS titles. I paid only $7 for the whole lot. It was a lot of fashion games. I do have my collection on my Pinterest if you need some inspiration. Yes, I am five, lol. I use to be a doller so I love my fashion games, lol.

I hardly ever find any SB supplies at that store so I was surprised. Nice! That map paper looks particularly rich and mysterious. The album cover reminds me of some dishes my Gran had, only I think they were red. I'd completely forgotten about them until now. Embri The 3DS is an amazing system. I'd been eying the 3DS mostly because there's a Pokéball edition one and I have a thing for Pokemon themed systems, so there's that. I got some cheap DS titles this week too! Just picked up the switch this weekend, not for a bargin so wrong thread, but we are having so much fun with it! I think for its price, the Switch is a pretty good bargain even at retail; console and handheld in one. If I didn't have such a huge backlog of games to play, I'd be tempted to get one myself. This week's finds! Not too much crafty stuff I'm afraid, but I did score some sweet MIP 'dazzle' stickers, fish and sun themed this time (retail 2.49$ on them), plus some funky erasers and a USB drive that I wouldn't have picked out on its own, but it was in the same bag so *shrug* it came home too. On the game side, Okami for Wii, a GameCube microphone (now I can finally try out Odama!), a GameCube to GBA link cable (actually bought two), a DS case, and some DS games - Super Princess Peach, Nintendogs, Bella Sara, Drawn to Life 1&2, and Spectrobes 2. And a small selection of LEGO, because 'heck yeah, Lego!' DS case, stickers, erasers & USB Drive were ~2$ total. DS games were 2$ apiece, Microphone & GC-GBA cable x2 were 12$ total. (not pictured) NGC memory card 251, 15$. Okami was also 15$.

Okami love! Even better Princess Peach Love!!!!! I love Bella Sara too.
Sorry I keep editing. Trying to share my thrifting haul from today. I am having user error drama's, lol. I think I got it. My haul is small. I didn't find much I wanted. I also included my Tuesday Morning haul too. I got Pink Paislee ephemera & stickers. Thrifting my glossy photo paper was brand new. My POTO CD is in mint condition. My swan is milk glass. Still in shock about my swan. Here's my haul-

Ooh, Phantom of the Opera! Got to go see that production live when I was a kid; it was a birthday gift if I remember correctly. Wonderful music, and a memorable experience. That swan looks like it could hold a bunch of small flowers quite nicely, or even a small succulent. Any idea what it was originally meant for?

I have been finding loads of things at Goodwill outlet (not regular Goodwill) so I filmed a haul video if anyone is interested... And please help me identify the papers?? 😀 After I filmed this, I found 2 brand new CM albums and a pack of page protectors (50ct) for .25/each. ♥️ youtu.be/eoWgE-03how

I don't think we have GW Outlets up here (aka 'the bins'), but from what I've heard yes, everything is sold by weight. The regulars can get pretty pushy, depending on when and where you go so take care. That said most of them are looking to flip merchandise and probably wouldn't look twice at craft supplies. alyssam - what a great haul! Hope you're getting lots of awesome crafts out of all those goodies.

I think we might have at least one GW Outlet somewhere in the Phx area, but the reviews I read of it were somewhat mixed, shall we say... pushy people, dirty, gross stuff, needing gloves and digging thru bins, etc. sounded a bit to much like dumpster diving, I guess. The thought of digging thru bins like that for clothing kind of skeeved me out. BUT- I never thought before about the possibility of getting bona fide scrapbooking supplies there for dirt-cheap! That possibility might change my opinion enough to try it out!! haha!! Isn't it funny how quickly my opinion changes just from the CHANCE of getting cheap scrapbook stuff?!? lol!!

At my store it's $1.49/lb up to 50lbs (which I personally usually hit because I am shopping for my consignment business), and $.99 above 50lbs. Except if you find paper, they let you price a stack like a book (.25).

The bins are terrifying. I have only been once. People are crazy and although the per pound price is good whatever I bought must have been heavy because it wasn’t any big bargain. I know a lot of people get smoking deals there, but I mostly shop for games, toys for my classroom and books, so I do better at the regular store.
I think it is worth going to at least once just to see what yours is like, but whoooeee, mine was scary.

As always with thrifting, YMMV. 😀

As always with thrifting, YMMV. 😀 No, they were 99 cents for paperback and 1.49 for kids hardback, 1.99 for adult hardback. Man, your prices are good! Books are definitely more expensive at the store, cheapest is 1.99, most are 2.99-3.99 -which is why I only buy really good books there and mostly buy books at Value Village. Really the worst part was the people screaming at each other and practically knocking people over to peruse a table when a new one was brought out. Granted, I was there on a weekend, I might go to a different one and try a weekday.

alyssam Great haul. No Goodwill outlet's here. I bet they would be a hit. We have some competitive flippers here. It is really insane. I bet they would get in fights if we had outlet stores. DH just bought a car. We are selling our old one. OMG! The flippers in my area. We listed the car and they were getting into fights over it. Granted to say we haven't sold the car yet, lol. They were actually trying to flip our car for a better price while standing in our driveway. Embri I am obsessed with POTO. You are so lucky to see it live. I have come soooo close twice then a major life even happened, lol. I am like "WHYYYYYY!" ROFL. I think my swan was a planter at one time. I love birds and I love unusual storage for my art studio. She is perfect.

Neat - Mountain Climb's new to me, not much of a surprise given the thousands upon thousands of different games there are out there. Looks intriguing. You don't often see too many vertical boards with pawns incorporated. Nice find!

We stopped at a Goodwill on Saturday and found a Quickutz tote overflowing with binders and product in the showcase. It was $39.99 which is WAY more than I usually spend on craft supplies at goodwill, but we were in a hurry and there were so many zip binders full of alphabets that we took a chance. I haven't gone through it all yet because I find the codes on those alphabet plates confusing, but it looks like each of the 5 binders has 2-3 alphabets, there are little silver cases with special sets like Holiday/Valentines Day, 14 unopened packages of DoubleCutz, small cardboard packaging with number sets, 10 sets of Quikutz rub-ons which I didn't even know they made (and they actually still work - I tried some), and a whole bunch of dies/embossing folders that seem to coordinate. There's also a blue hand tool. As long as there are a few alphabets I don't already have, I think I got my money's worth, but I'm definitely experiencing some buyer's remorse thinking about the price.

That sounds like a huge haul - maybe you'll be able to sell on some of your duplicate alphas? I think there's still demand for the alphabet QC sets, even today. Dies never really go out of style. I got these last week (not my pictures, camera was unavailable): The Fiskars corner punch was ~2$, the paper case was ~6$, with all its original paper. I've since emptied the thing since I wanted to store my most used 12x12's in it. The included paper isn't bad, a bit on the plain and muted side and clearly geared towards backgrounds. The case though is very nice indeed, and holds about 3.5" of paper sheets.
