This is a pass for me. It’s such a sad color scheme and feels rushed. It's certainly more earthy/woodsy than I expected based on the collection logo.

Thanks for your responses. While I liked the original Fancy Pants (& the few collections released during its Foundations Decor era), I do not gravitate toward its current aesthetic under new ownership. Nothing is added to my wish list.

Thanks for your responses. I'm not the target audience, so nothing is added to my wish list. overall Mintay isn't a brand I buy - pretty to look at but too pastel and too fussy for me to use. ... Same

Thanks for your responses. Like Linda, I appreciate the various holiday styles/color palettes/etc. but am not the target audience. Nothing is added to my wish list.

My local scrapbook store is pushing this line hard. She's got a bunch of activities happening with it. Do you like the collection?

... I'm surprised at how much I dislike some of those papers. Unfortunately, I've also had this reaction to many of the recent new releases.

Given the collections released under new ownership, it appears this is now the Fancy Pants aesthetic ( website). I find myself pulled in by the colors in a lot of their collections. I always love a collection that gives me a punch of color. Apothecary & Fruitcake & Tinsel especially grabbed my eye, and I like that with the b-sides of Fruitcake & Tinsel, they are good to use with anything as there's nothing holiday about them. And while I don't have any screaming need for a molded jello embellishment, it cracks me up all the same. Note Apothecary was released in March (see this thread) & Fruitcake/Tinsel last August (see that thread). Products from both collections are still available (e.g. SB.com: Apothecary & Fruitcake/Tinsel). HTH.

I'm surprised to be saying, "Yuck. What's with all the brown?" Given the name of the collection, its color palette, & the ubiquitous red truck hauling a tree, it appears this collection is intended to document selecting/cutting holiday trees. Perhaps the brown patterns ( brown/tan solids, plaid, & wood cut/leaves) could be used for outdoor, heritage, football/baseball/softball, etc. layouts instead.

... Will give a shout out to FP for giving us something different. ... ... I guess at least one manufacturer is listening when we said we wanted something different... ... if these lines do well, then maybe we'll see more different things ... Given the collections released under new ownership, it appears this is now the Fancy Pants aesthetic ( website).

Their last few collections have been odd, I don't want to see another scrapbook company go out of business. Who is the designer of this wreck? I have loved Fancy Pants for years. NOPE. As mentioned in this thread, Fancy Pants Designs was acquired from Foundations Decor seemingly early last year (see announcement). However, its website ( here) neither has an About Us page nor appears to name the owner(s) &/or designer(s) anywhere.

Did they mean Eclectic Lane? Love the colours, but can’t make sense of the images. It certainly would have better summarized the collection!

Neither. My scrapbooking is story-driven. After selecting photos/memorabilia that support the story that I want to tell, I write the journaling & brainstorm a title. The photos/memorabilia/journaling/title influence my paper/embellishment selections & layout design.

Oddly, AC never updates its website, including its brands/partnerships. In addition to those noted in the OP:
American Crafts (its namesake) Celes Gonzalo Core'dinations Damask Love (dormant or defunct?) DCWV Heidi Swapp Pink Paislee
(ETA: Note the above list refers generally to brands AC manufactures, not necessarily its legal entities as you inquired.)
The only AC brand that I purchase paper from is Bazzill.

... the cover sheets for their paper pads is actually part of my issue with the company as a whole. ... Prima instead does that off-set diagonal cut to show off each set of 2 patterns, and for whatever reason, my eyes/brain take that and see just a splotch of colors all mixed up together without really seeing any patterns at all. And even if I click on the thumbnail to see the larger image, I still have trouble sorting out the patterns. Since paper is my favorite supply of all, the fact that it's hard for me to digest each line as a whole really make me less likely to even look closely at their offerings. I just see that "splotch" and think "Oh, gosh, no." and I move on. ... Agree, Prima paper pad covers (e.g. From The North Pole) show a confusing jumble of busy patterns (that I also do not bother to further investigate).

In general....I think the craft room line is cute, but all the flowers all over it......is a turnoff. Why is it necessary to flowers on and around everything? I wonder the same...ugh!

This line is from the three girls tales right? I believe there’s another prima line coming out by Frank Garcia? Was that posted too? I'm not a Prima customer so am unfamiliar with "three girls tales." The OP is updated to add the 25 & Peppermint collection! ETA: kmage , melanell , mikklynn , pantsonfire , infochick , Linda , ScrapbookMyLife , vexedangel , KikiPea , grammadee , babylou , artbabe , @petscrapper , Chinagirl828 , & craftywendy - what are your thoughts on the 25 & Peppermint collection? I like it, but I don't need it. I have so much Christmas stuff already. I do like the frames, and will order those, because they can be used with outdoor photos, hiking, etc... It was clever to include plain woodgrain frames ( here) that are versatile & can be used year-round.

Well, I'll start with the good, so I can't be accused of just being a complainer that hates everything and is exceptionally privileged. ... No judgement here. This thread is a safe space for everyone to share opinions on the upcoming release.

I have aspirations to one day just do one layout with Mintay paper where I do all the fussy cutting and layering and build a really detailed page ... Perhaps a no-photo title page to an album or a journaling-only layout?

I exclusively scrapbook "traditional" 12x12 layouts (stored in a 12x12 album with various size/format page protectors for extra photos/memorabilia/etc.), so no cardmaking, traveler's/junk journals, or mini albums, such as DD, JYC, etc. My only holiday task in July is to peruse new releases!

I'm a Southerner & introvert who is respectful of others/their opinions, believes in free speech, &, like AussieMeg , contends "silence is complicity." I've never been so desperate to fit in or self-concerned NOT to speak up in these situations (even if I'm the first or only one). I probably would have commented, "Sadly, it appears I'm in the minority here because I welcome & encourage diversity in our neighborhood and do not condone hate." Then, I would politely pay, leave, & reconsider my new "couple" friends (especially if the wife was the person who invited me to this group outing &/or she was silently complicit after I spoke out against it).
