One other thing I noticed yesterday while shopping at MFT is when checking out there was something added called "Navidium Shipping Protection" at $0.75 per item. Hmmm. I couldn't find anything on their shipping page about it. I backed out and deleted my cart. I dis-like sneaky fees! YES! Concord & 9th has some fee to offset the carbon footprint of your order. Trying to get that off your order is a pain. I was not happy about that when trying to checkout last time.

Seriously, some of you are just assholes. Just a few gems:
- She's not "brave" because that's "not really a swimsuit". - Her tits are sagging. - She's silly. - Tiktok says she's had plastic surgery. - She's airbrushed. - She's not a "normal" 81 year old.
Women supporting women, yeah right. Martha looks fucking amazing in those photos. FULL STOP.

For me it's crafting. Whether I actually make a card, just play with a stamp set, watch a crafting video or even organize my stash. This just helps me calm down and turn my mind off of the stressful thing. Buying craft supplies also helps.

I’m grateful for and appreciate what nurses do because it’s a job I couldn’t/wouldn’t do.
My BFF is a high level nursing director at a very large hospital. She works her ass off for nurses week and not one person ever says thank you. It’s truly a thankless effort.
For those of you who bitch about your rock or cold pizza, grow up. Someone actually put thought and effort into that.

Oh wow! Yeah, take my money! This is a great cross company collaboration. I wonder if this will be the start of smaller crop & create delivered type events with multiple companies.

I'm just not feeling this. You can already do all that with their current dies and hot foil plates and a rubber mat. You can ink directly on dies or build your own "plate" with cardstock and vellum.
Also, is it one and done? Without a hinge, how can you repeat the process accurately if you don't get a clear crisp image?
Unless I'm missing something, this whole system is just weird.

This is the Hero Arts Bee Florals stencil and die set. Great cards! I’ve been playing with this set too. I just love how easily it all comes together. I have 4 backgrounds that I need to turn into cards.

To me it was totally worth it. My favorite thing about it is that the sides fold up so it requires less space when not in use.

I disagree with just about everyone here. I don’t think mom is a jerk. She just made a mistake in assuming dad would step up this time. I said this on another thread—I’ll never understand non-custodial parents who nickel and dime their own children when it’ll be a hell of a lot more expensive if they had custody. Mom is trying to correct the mistake so I give her credit for that. If she didn’t care, she would just shrug and tell kid #3 oh well, your dad dropped the ball, go blame him. I think she’s trying to do what she can with the limited funds she has and maybe that’s what the kid will remember—that mom just tried to do the best she could. Thanks.. that is how I am looking at it... She feels really crappy about it.. ( and it's not the money..she can do it .. it's just at this point she is trying to be smart about her spending) and everyone else that disagrees.. that is fine too.. I am just surprised at this viewpoint. That will teach me to not read the entire thread! This right here, the mom was playing games. She could afford it. So yeah, the mom is the ass not the ex.

I've read a few of the responses and I guess I'll be sort of the lone dissenter.
If the mom truly could not afford the graduation items and told her son and ex-husband then that is on the son and ex-husband. If the son really wanted the graduation hoopla, he should have sat down and talked to his mom about it long before now. I think the mom is dumb to run around and try to throw something together at the last minute. If she truly can't afford it then she shouldn't do anything.
But if this was all a game to "force" the ex to pay. I blame the mom. She knew what a POS the ex is, so why put her kid thru all his?
I think there's more to the story.

My question for you all: As your stamp collection grows, how do you remember what you have? Many times I know I have a certain sentiment, but I can't find it. Sometimes they are one stamp in a full stamp set! I started buying stamp sets that are just sentiments. I just bought two from Honey Bee Stamps for the insides of the cards - Inside Birthday and Snarky Birthday. I use Evernote and I LOVE it! I log each and every stamp set and die that I have. I include a picture of the product and use tags for key words in the sentiments. When I'm looking for a sentiment I'll search for a tag and then look at each picture to see the sentiments included. I started out with the free version but when my AliExpress addiction got bad, I had to upgrade so that I could log everything timely. For now it's worth it.

1. Do you precut card bases and card fronts? I do not cut card bases or card fronts in bulk but when I pull out a sheet of white cardstock, I typically cut it into quarters or half to start with. That way I have small standard card size pieces I can work with. 2. How small is too small a paper scrap to keep? White CS? Colored CS? Patterned paper? I hoard paper and keep scraps that are way too small. My white scraps are ridiculous. I use cheap Michaels white cardstock for lining my stamp & die pockets so I keep all the extra pieces from that. I'm inundated! I do try to use those scraps for dimension on my dies. I just upgraded my scrap paper storage to this box. I have a hanging file for every color. I actually do use my scraps all the time because they are organized and easy to get to. www.staples.com/tru-red-hanging-file-box-snap-lid-letter-legal-size-clear-tr57620/product_244139953. What have you found works for dividers? I just use plain cardstock with a label and I'm not too bothered by them getting bent. I've wanted to laminate the cardstock to give it strength but I have not gotten around to it. Also, I use Ikea Kallax units for my stamp & die storage so I'm limited to the number of cubes I have. I felt like there was so much wasted space above my bins so I cut some wood and made DIY shelves to get more storage space. This causes my dividers to get bent. For me more storage > bent dividers. I'm very picky about my bins. They have to be straight and not tapered at the bottom. All my bins have come from Amazon. Also, just a heads up, these boxes from Target are 6 inches wide at the bottom. I store my 6x6 paper pads and all my embossing folders in them. I don't use the lid just the box. www.target.com/p/sterilite-6-qt-clear-view-box-clear-with-latches-purple/-/A-13794493#lnk=sametab

Nobody else has had issues with messy creases with it? I always score my card bases and I score pretty deep/hard but not ripping the paper. The deeper the score the cleaner my fold will be. I have a Martha Stewart score board but I really have my eye on the Altenew scoreboard. I like that it has a stylus rather than a bone folder type tool. During C&C I was in a hurry and just folded a card base an pressed down with my bone folder and it totally cracked the fold. It was so bad I couldn't use it as a card base. This card stock definitely needs to be scored first.

I'm sure I'll see highlights but I doubt I'll actively watch. I find Charles to be an out of touch creep and pretty much a horrible father at a time when his children needed him the most. I'd be more interested in seeing William be king.

That's so cool!
Back in the early 2000s, Disney California Adventure would host Super Soap Weekend with all the ABC soap stars. A group of friends and I would go and have a blast. We met so many cool fans while standing in line waiting for pictures and autographs. It was so much fun scrapping all those pictures.

So I really wasn't planning on signing up unless the sneaks were great then I was going to try to get on the waitlist. Well, I've had a horrible few days and decided to sign up because crafting really does give me joy and is somewhat of my therapy. I just really needed a pick me up and decided I'm in. Hopefully more of you will be enabled by the sneak peeks.

I have it and use it occasionally. In my opinion, it’s really geared for spellbinder embossing folders. I think it may need shims for other brand embossing folders.
To be honest, I haven’t had many issues using 3D folders or any folders with the regular base and cutting plates. I NEVER force it thru. I do sometimes use a piece of cardboard box as a shim with one cutting plate and it works great. The corrugated part gives it great flexibility.
I can’t even remember if I used the universal plates for the Altenew crop & create class. That’s how little of an impression the system has made on me.

We love Hawaii and while there is less gun violence there, I think we will take our chances with Mexico than with some chimpanzee on a rampage. All “legal” and illegal gun holders are lesser primates. Want to be smart? Get rid of your gun. I take exception to your sweeping generalization. What should a rancher use to get rid of coyotes, or put a broken-legged horse out of his misery? What should a person living in a secluded location have to protect himself/herself against marauding thieves? What should a wheelchair-bound person use for self-defense in the event of a break-in? I believe there is a place for responsible gun ownership. Certainly not a fucking assault weapon used in an actual war zone.

Did you get the delayed shipping email yesterday? I thought it was odd that I got it since my order was already delivered. It said: No, nothing from them. I did get two emails the day I ordered (4/21/23), one for the order and one for some points. They charged my credit card the day I ordered, though. Where are they coming from? Are they in Utah? They ship from Arizona.

Well, he got it launched on 4/20 like he wanted because he’s a middle schooler with billions, so that counts for something, right? You can bet that launchpad redesign is going to be high on the list. NASA and DoD don't design theirs the way they do for nothing. The test flight was still a success because anything past clearing the tower got them data to analyze and improve upon. No first test flight is ever anywhere near what the casual observer may consider successful. Health and environmental issues be damned! It was a success!
