i fear karma so i would tell them Yep. I got into an event recently without paying. I barely made it in time to see my kid. I paid for my entrance fee on the way out. The ticket takers were shocked, but I don't need karma biting me in the butt.

I love how I have to use the quote feature and all I want to discuss is your one line . You can use the quote feature and then delete everything except the one line you want to talk about. I do that sometimes.

I am all for getting an appliance, THAT I WANT, for Christmas but I would not be happy about it in the scenario you described.

At the risk of getting flamed..... Some sort of nail polish. I love Color Street 100% nail polish strips They would be fun to put on at your party! (Full disclosure: I am a consultant for them.) But you could put in any favorite nail polish and paint your nails there. Nails and margaritas! Doesn't get much better than that. eta - now I want to have a favorite things party!! Does everyone bring their own favorite thing? or do you coordinate everything and unveil everything like Oprah?

Will your story be recorded? or can we have a transcript? Honestly, I'm not sure if I have a video team traveling with me to this training, if not there will definitely be video in the coming year- I'm slated to present in front of 3-4,000 people in August I believe. Argh. I'm happy to share the transcript if it's not filmed in January, I may need some help touching it up as it gets closer. I'm hoping to make some serious progress on it tonight. That is so exciting! You could be a motivational speaker!!

Can you post a pic of yours when you get it set up? OK, here is my hot cocoa bar. This will stay up all winter long. I have jars with peppermint, mini marshmellows, vanilla marshmellows, caramel bits, white chocolate and mini chips. DH doesn't like k-pods so I have some cocoa packets for him, K-pods for the boys. I found some cute jingle bell stirrers and some stirrers that have bottlebrush trees on the end. A friend made some lollipop looking things that are actually honey that you stir in your coffee or chocolate, so they are included. I found some cute throw away paper cups that came with lids + red sleeves. I do have some Carmel syrup in the pantry but since no one here uses it much, I don't leave it out on the cabinet. Oh, and there is whipped cream in the can that stays in the fridge if someone wanted that to add. Not super fancy, but we use it every single day. Beautiful! Thank you for sharing!

You seem unfamiliar with Instagram. I recommend you have an account if you don't already and follow your daughter to see what she is posting (not because she did anything wrong, I just think it is a good idea for parents). You can have multiple accounts and log ins. A lot of teens today have regular accounts with lots of followers and finsta (fake insta) accounts for more personal posts & less followers. Instagram can be accessed from a phone, laptop or computer. If this person added her log in to your daughters, your daughter would have the option to switch between the accounts (when you click on your username there is a drop down box that shows additional accounts and link to add an account). I would delete any accounts for the other girl if they are attached to your daughters account. I would change your daughters password to something more complex/hard to hack. I would make sure your daughters phone is password protected and the password again is complex/hard to hack. I don't understand leaving the computer unattended/letting others access & would add a password to that as well. She should block the other girl on Instagram so she cannot contact her or see your daughters posts. She will need to go to the girls name/profile and next to the name is three black dots with a drop down menu that offers to block someone. Also, make sure your daughters account is private and NOT public. Best of luck - raising teens is hard! I do have an account and I watch what my dd posts. There is a lot that I don't understand about Instagram though I am learning. My dd does not follow Kim and Kim does not follow her. That ended with the first computer incident. What would be better (I did this with one of my DDs) is to have her acct open on your device so that you can see what is coming through her feed. That way you know what kind of accounts she is following and what they are posting. Just following your daughter only gives you access to see what she posts. Sometimes doing this is pretty eye opening.

It could be as simple as Kim using your DD's phone (when they were "friends") and logging inteo her IG and then adding her acct and saving the password so she could look at it on your DD's phone.
My kids have had friends to my house and they have logged into accts on my computer and then forgot to log out and/or saved their passwords to my computer. (Probably inadvertantly)

I can't decide whether to do my toes with this
or this (the glitter is putting me off a bit, it's a bitch to remove!)
Just do one or two toes in the glitter!

Lots of rest and fluids. I do drink about 4 packets of EmergenC (a day) at the first hint of a cold. I swear by it, but it is probably all psychological. Feel better. If you feel better after you take the Emergent-C then who cares if it's "all psychological"... whatever works. In fact I'm glad you mentioned it because I need to have some this morning, I forgot to take it when I got up. And anyway, the placebo effect is a real thing. I hear ya. When it gets real wintery I will just drink one every morning. I used to be able to get one of my kids to do it too.

trollie that’s great. I was on 2% battery so I just wanted to submit my order and didn’t bother searching for codes. But I’m happy for your great deal. The nice thing is, is that wickibuy searches for you. It does take a few mins though. It tried 10 different codes bf settling on the one that it did. Not sure if it is only for Chrome users or if it'll support other browsers as well.

The Body Shop is offering their full size body butters and scrubs that are normally $21 for $5. They are their holiday scents, but didn’t stop me from stocking up. Share any other great deals you’ve come across. THANK YOU! I ordered 3 scrubs and 3 shower gels. I have an extension on my computer called WICKIBUY. It searches for coupon codes. It found a $5 off $30 code for me so I only paid $25 for my order, plus shipping was free. Of course, I also got 4% back through EBATES. <------ My referral link.

Search "magnifying glass with light", some nail gals I know are using these. You can get desktop stand ones or floor ones. Getting older is so annoying! I have to do mine with my glasses off and my contacts out to see up close. I'm wearing Stella Chroma brand but can't remember the name due to recent shopping sprees of indie polishes! I think I've bought 50 in the past 2 months. I need to wear them all before buying more...but that probably won't happen. Lol Thank you! Going to have to get one of these. Getting older is annoying!

I put new color on my toes and fingers last night. It's a grayish lavender called "Elegantly Wasted" by a brand named Trust Fund Beauty. I'm 99% sure I got it in a subscription box. While it's pretty in the bottle, I don't really like it on me. It's the same color as my varicose veins on the backs of my hands. Lol. I'll re-do before our holiday party Friday night. OMG! I love you description! LOL!

Our topper this year is a husky, because DH finished his master's degree in the spring, and DD graduates next week from the same university, and it's their mascot. (Our regular angel is relegated to the end table. lol) LOVE the husky on top!! So freaking adorable!
