In my part of the world, there is only the Monday start to the week. I literally cannot fathom the idea of Sunday being the start of the week when it's called the weekend.

I am *so relieved* that I cancelled my DK sub having seen this months sneaks. Not my cup of tea at all. https://www.instagram.com/p/CR4hLIxlDxD For an August kit, the colours are dull and I find the interpretation of the theme 'Wild' to be a bit lacklustre. Feel like I've dodged a bullet.

Don’t forget to cancel your M2M subs today or tomorrow to not be stuck with the next kit! Thanks! I've just cancelled. Haven't seen a single sneak for next month yet so I'll just resub if I want the kit on the first.

Is there a typo on the “stay positive” pleather sun? Or is it photographed weird - it doesn’t look like an ‘e’ at the end of positive. Looks like a typo to me. I *think* it is spelt correctly but the ink hasn't adhered well at all to the curve on the top of the 'e'

I really like that approach. It's definitely a unique way of looking at it.

Inked Brands heard me and rewarded me for my patience. My latest AE order arrived this afternoon! The long waiting times to have stuff shipped from the warehouse pisses me off. They are treating internationals like second-class customers and that's what I have a problem with. You're totally right - I've felt that way from quite a few retailers. Like we're an unnecessary hassle they'd rather be without.

I too am bored of waiting for SC and AE packages to arrive. They seems to take weeks to even leave the warehouse, nevermind the US. I completely understand how you're feeling sleepingbooty and marinette ❤️ I'm not going to grumble too much as I'm thankful for the opportunity to purchase supplies. I sound like a complete broken record saying that. 🙃 Reality of life post-Brexit.

I saw that the paper is jpeg and the elements are png. Is that how all digital kits are? What is the reasoning behind that? I think because elements often need a transparent background, so that the paper or whatever underneath can show through, eg. a doily or button holes etc. Even though not everything needs to be transparent, I guess somewhere along the line, designers started making all elements png. It is for this exact reason! Png transparency is crucial for elements. Even with solid shapes like circles, if it wasn’t a png, it would have a white box behind the circle to the dimension of the image.

I wouldn’t scrap them at all. I like the idea of having them in a clearly labelled envelope so your son can have them in the future, but equally won’t be blindsided by them. He can open the envelope when he’s ready.
If you wanted to document written memories in addition to the photos, I would write a few notes on the back of each photograph, or include some journaling in the envelope.
Not everything has to be dressed up with paper and stickers. Putting them in a safe place for him is definitely enough.

I’m very much a, you do you, kind of person.
Personally, I like my photos to accurately represent what I saw through my eyes that day. That usually involves some colour tweaking, or removing a unsightly trash can I didn’t notice at the time. And for that reason, I wouldn’t over-edit my photos.
But each to their own - over processing is not my style and I think you start to lose the reality which is something that is important to me as a memory keeper, but evidently isn’t as important to some others. And that’s okay.

This was just posted in the Facebook group. The great outdoors is coming next week. It looks really cute to me. Urgh. Not sure my credit card is going to get the workout it was hoping for based on those sneaks. Thank you for sharing!

I think you can forget shopping for scrapbooking supplies in my home region of Provence. Paris is your best option and even there, it'll be extremely limited. Completely agree. I've only ever seen one LSS in Europe and that was in Barcelona - and I do make an effort to research them when I go to new, large cities. I've had pretty much no luck. I'd focus your efforts on collecting ephemera rather than seeking out supplies. Paris will be a great place to find cute paper memorabilia like postcards. Montmartre is a tourist hotspot and has plenty of cute shops selling pretty postcards. Museums and art galleries all tend to have gift shops too where you can pick up unique ephemera. Palais de Tokyo (modern art gallery) has an old-style photobooth next to their shop where you can get strips of black and white photos for 3 euros.

Studio Calico has a smörgåsbord of food stamps available from lots of different designers including IACB, EE, One Little Bird. Here is the link to the category.Travel Eats is one of my favourites, as well as the Brunch stamp and the Grill stamp. If Kerri Bradford shipped to me, I'd buy this one. I love her stamps.

FYI: All digitals are $1 through July 31st, 11:59 ET. Thanks for sharing. Questions: Why doesn't Ali Edwards ever have $1 digital sales? (Maybe $5 for template sets) Does Inked consider her a premium brand? The subject of the cost of Ali's digitals came up a few years back and at the time, Ali pretty much confirmed that they consider their digitals to be an equal entity to their physical product which is why the price is comparable, and they rarely sell it off for pennies. SC on the other hand use their digitals to make a quick buck.

Sorry babes. I’m sipping fruit cider on a school night and lost my head for a moment there! Of course they’ve updated the product page to suit their ever evolving version of the truth, of course 🙃🙃🙃🙃 Trust me, it's better to sip on fruit cider than try to understand what the actual deadline for a SC pre-order is! Got any to spare, peach? *holds glass in begging hands pose* For you? Always! Cider and trash tv in the form of Love Island is my evening wind down tonight and it would be an honour to share it with you! It's clearly doing the job and I am suitably relaxed & switched off - over here making excuses for SC 🤣🤣🤣 Pahaha, who am I!

The product page says that they will ship early July so fingers crossed it's not too much longer now. 🤞 It was originally mid-June. I trust nothing SC post on their product pages. Sorry babes. Anybody got a shipping notification for Geralyn's pre-ordered Things Are Looking Up stamp set? I ordered this the first week of May. It's now the first week of July. The product page says that they will ship early July so fingers crossed it's not too much longer now. 🤞

We love eating local and do so wherever possible but when I visited West Coast USA a couple of years ago, I was incredibly excited when we were desperate for something to eat and a Dairy Queen was en route! I do like the opportunity to eat in chains that we hear about but we don't have at home such as Dairy Queen (delicious!), Panera Bread (really enjoyed) and Taco Bell (awful). Where do you live that doesn't have Taco Bell? I didn't know that such a place existed. Also DQ sucks but I'll defend Taco Bell's Mexican pizza to the death 🤺 We don’t have Taco Bell in the U.K! I think there may be one restaurant in London but it’s not something you see all over the country. I will totally accept your POV and vow to give TB another go when I’m next in the US. I think we just didn’t know what to order!

I am from the South West of England, UK # peachiceteas I'm wondering where on earth I got the idea you were in Ireland! I'm in Gloucestershire but originally a Yorkshire girl. Haha - definitely not in Ireland but wouldn't mind visiting one day! 😂 I am Wiltshire, so we are a stones throw away from each other. ❤️

In case you missed it FB post today says that there will be a “Great Outdoors Collection” out later this month. I was surprised to see that so close to the travel release. Is there a pattern to when “collections” are offered? Where on Facebook did you see this? It was in the Craft the Story Facebook group. The same information is repeated here on her blog: aliedwards.com/2021/07/projects-product-releases-july

I am from the South West of England, UK and I have been scrapbooking since January 2015, so six years and counting.
I have always done pocket page scrapbooking, and have been working with the 6x8 size pretty much exclusively since 2016.
I cannot imagine where I would be in my life now without it. It's everything I never knew I needed in a hobby.
