So why do stores (online) have BIG sales, and then another one, and another one... etc... when they say right on their site that they are having issues with deliveries, shipping, etc. because of this or that or some other reason!? Mostly Covid related at the moment. We ordered from Old Navy (3 prs of pants, not even a big order) on 4/17 (what is it about that date and not getting my orders? lol). I got a shipping confirmation, they were supposed to be delivered on the 21st. Ok, cool. I looked on the 21st to see if they were still on time. Nope! They are "working on shipping it as soon as possible". I get that... delays, shipping, whatever... but WHY do they keep having sales if they can't even fulfill the orders that they already have!? Redundant questions... I just needed to vent! Back to your regularly schedule NSBR postings...

My printer is on the way and being delivered tomorrow! When I got it last week it said until the 11th. Cannot wait to play with it. Is the best place to buy cartridges Amazon? I actually got a good price on the Epson website for paper & cartridges.

I have worked mine to death the last few days! I do love it! I've had it for like 2 yrs and only used it a handful of times...not anymore though! It has earned a permanent spot on my "machine" shelf so I can use it at a moment's notice!

I have to admit, I haven't done ANY of the challenge assignments!! BUT, I DID finish an album that I have been working on for a little while now, and I have a great start on printing pics for my big 3 album project (my DDs Make a Wish trip to NYC). I ran out of ink though, so I have to wait for that to be delivered to finish printing. LOL
I also was able to clean up from the last project and get things organized to get the NYC books started!
VERY SUCCESSFUL/PRODUCTIVE weekend!!!
Thank you for setting this all up, and THANK YOU for those who were in and out and able to chat on the google hangouts! It was SO fun to put names with faces and to see a little glimpse of your scrappy lives!!!

Holy moly! Y'all are busy! Everything looks so good! I spent the day doing all the things so I can do all the cropping the rest of the weekend! Laundry is done... mowing is done...grocery shopping is done(since we've been on restriction I go out once a week on Friday mornings)...I got myself a little treat(Hershey bar) to help me get my mojo flowing tomorrow! We order out on Saturdays so I don't even have to cook! I do have a couple of little things to do first thing in the morning but then I'm unavailable for anything but scrapbooking!! Woohoo!

Good News!! Our Hobby Lobby opened today and I got some cardstock!! I have been staying in and being good but when I heard they were open, I had to run in while I was out doing my weekly grocery shop(I only go out on Friday mornings). YAY!! I got what I need to finish the project, and a few extra just in case! I mean, you can never have too much cream cardstock, right!?

I got all of the laundry done today. Now I can focus on iNSD cropping! I also made myself sit down and get all of my Copics put away. I used a little of my stimulus $ to order the last few colors that I "needed" to complete my collection & they have been just laying on the table since they came in because I have my copics in a little storage rack that my SO built for me in Color Family/numerical order so I needed to shift things to make room for the new ones. There are still 3 that I don't have because they were oos when I ordered so I did leave a spot for them as I was organizing today. LOL

I'm moving to MN when this is all over... LOL
I am proudly(or not) living in one of the handful of states that didn't do a SIP and the $hit is starting to hit the fan!! Our governor is allowing 77 of our 99 counties to open leaving 22 under tight restrictions. Ugh!

Hi Mel (and everyone), I don't mind admitting that the store being referred to here is us. I'm really sorry for the trouble with your order. I completely understand and share your frustration on this - I wasn't the person that responded to your emails, but I've been having to tell customers a similar "story" frequently over the past few weeks and I'm not very happy that we haven't been able to give out better information. We are aware of a specific situation with the USPS hubs in the Detroit, MI area, where many of our packages are processed. Due to short staffing there, some of our packages are getting picked up and left on a truck until they have time to process them (without being scanned). We've spoken with people at our local post office, someone at one of those facilities, and also have opened claims for several affected packages, and the general response we get is "there's nothing we can do; you'll have to wait." As an example, I was following a package for another customer that we shipped on the 17th and it just finally got scanned and started moving today. You had mentioned the other package in your order - that one was shipped direct from our supplier in Grand Rapids and didn't go through either of the Detroit hubs. I realize that doesn't really help you at all, but I just want you to know we're not ignoring you, we're frustrated too, and we will make sure that you either get your items or a full refund. (Also, to be clear, we NEVER print a shipping label unless the items are packaged and ready to go out the door right then - that's a huge pet peeve of mine as well.) Thanks Matt!! I did respond to the email I got this morning and said that I wasn't accusing ACOT, it's the USPS I'm not trusting! LOL Hopefully we'll see something moving soon! I was just disappointed because if I had known I would have tried someplace else because I really hoped to get the project done this weekend (it was to be a gift). I thought I was ordering in plenty of time.

I JUST posted about this same thing!! The store keeps saying that the USPS has it and they are two weeks behind on shipping. But, I have gotten TONS of other deliveries throughout all of the Covid stuff so I'm not buying that excuse anymore... I'm pretty sure at this point that I'm getting an auto-response type answer from the store and they haven't checked at all.

PLEASE don't remind me that we're in a crisis and there are more important things to worry about... I KNOW this, but I'm frustrated and just needed to vent a minute and figured the Peas would understand. (((hugs))) I totally understand and there is no way anyone should belittle you by saying those things. Everyone knows what is happening, but that doesn't mean you can't be annoyed with what appears to be a botched shipping job. It sounds like a mix up to me, for sure. Thank you!

PLEASE don't remind me that we're in a crisis and there are more important things to worry about... I KNOW this, but I'm frustrated and just needed to vent a minute and figured the Peas would understand. I placed a "biggish" order on the 17th(2 weeks ago tomorrow) from a pretty popular online SS. My first one from this particular place! I need cream/ivory/off white cardstock BAD! They were the only place I could find it so I ordered some (like 20 sheets). Of course, in the process of shopping, I found a bunch of other goodies I had to have! There were a few Stickles that were back ordered, so I ordered them anyway. I got an email that said the first order had shipped on the 20th(last Mon) & they would send me another shipping confirmation when the other stuff ships, that came the next day (21st). I waited a couple of days and checked tracking again for the first package. "A label was created April 20, 2020". Hmmm, ok... just figured it hadn't updated. It said that all week though. I sent an email to the store to see if they could get updated info. Nope. In the meantime, I have actually received the back ordered stuff (second package)!!! I checked tracking on the first package... still says the same thing! The store says that there might be issues because of Covid-19. Ok, but WHY did I get the one sent later, but not the first one? I have ordered from lots of other places and gotten deliveries within 3-7 days, even Amazon! I sent another email to them and of course their answer is that USPS said to expect delays. I'm ticked because I should have just cancelled the order and tried to order somewhere else while there was still time. I really wanted the cardstock before NSD crops so I could finish the book I'm doing for DD. I wasn't sure if I should mention the store name.

I probably eat fast food about once a week and haven't noticed anything. As an aside, I went to my local Chik Fil A on Saturday and the line for the drive through was all the way around the building. I almost said "nope!" but took the waiting time to download the app and put in my order. I then pulled into curbside orders parking and got my order lickety split! I did this recently for McDonald's! I don't eat there often but my Ds likes thier "Cheeeeeeese" (cheeseburger! He is non verbal but he knows and makes sure the rest of us know when we pass a McDs!). Anyway, the app was pretty cool & I haven't had anything messed up n the few times I have used it, which is saying a lot because just about evenrytime we do drive-thru we end up having to go in to get something fixed.

I was just thinking about this earlier as I was driving to the hospital for an appointment. Seeing them at home and without thier usual wardrobe & make up has been fun. I like the laid back unscripted parts too, pets, kids, spouses, etc. Rachel Ray's husband does her camera and he has been on her show a lot lately and its just refreshing to see that sort of thing sometimes even in this rough season.
