Finished the 5 pages, easy when you don’t have to journal. Talked myself out of “oh I am sure I am saving this cool paper for some other project to be named...” Use the stash! I love this! Use that pretty paper. I've tried to retrain myself to think there's no more important layout than the one I'm working on right now. This memory is important, too. sleepingbooty , you are always here to cheer us on. Thanks for that. To everyone suffering from anxiety, I am so sorry. Give yourself points for getting up, getting dressed and being here to have some crafty time. I DO NOT suffer from anxiety and I am feeling anxious right now. I can't imagine how hard these crazy times are for those of you that struggle with anxiety. This is so thoughtful. Hugs to all of you out there who are struggling. I hope to join in a little this weekend! I don't even need to go out for groceries since I stocked up double last week. Me, too. I don't see needing to leave the house for about two weeks. Which is no problem for this introvert. I'm getting started on a layout and finally using a Shimelle paper pad that I haven't gotten much use out of. Glad to finally cut into it.

managed two pages - used some pretty butterfly paper I've been hoarding on one and went a little out of my comfort zone with patterns on the other - still not quite sure it all came together but it's done and going in the book.

Just one page from me today. I was accused of being borderline creepy by DD for taking screenshots off her friend's YouTube video for my page. Yeah, I did that. I own it. Linda , really pretty paper on both of your pages, but what I really love is your journaling. It flows like you're having a pleasant conversation with your reader LavenderLayoutLady , your schedule card is hilarious

I'm here for the party! I was supposed to be attending a scrapbook retreat tonight through Saturday. I'll scrap with y'all instead. I'm trying to scrapbook some really really old events.
Unfortunately I don't know how to post photos of my layouts so you'll just have to trust me.
Tonight I'm finishing up a multi-page layout from Christmas 2014. I'm using an SEI kit that I never really loved. However, "done" is better than "waiting on perfect."
Next up: Hawaii 1994.

KikiPea , love the colors! Did you lay down the paint for the background? It's a cool effect. LisaDV, your color scheme for Logan's Room is great too. I love all the black and gray with just that aqua to give it a punch of color. I'm thinking about doing a page similar to your sketch with the big title on the side, but it probably won't look as nice and neat as yours as I'll be using lots of differently sized photos.

The background is from the original Vicki Boutin premade mixed media paper pad. I added the blue droplets made from her art crayons.

Lots going on here this afternoon/evening. Need to get caught up on comments... Linda, your prized butterfly paper went to excellent use! I love the larger butterfly image to go with it. Awesome journaling. And the peach flower pp is perfect for a page about friends going out for a meal together. Sweet photos and journaling about Daddy's cooking and dd's enjoyment of it. Great that they sent you photos, and I love what you did with them. I am glad you are able to document this sad time in a really positive way. And great school page! I am sure she will treasure these books where her success is celebrated and teacher's comments preserved. Perfect happy school papers. KikiPea, your LO made ME smile! Love those happy photos, and you have working with VB down to a SCIENCE, Girl! I think those papers and diecuts were MADE for you! msliz there is love in the Gallery.

I’m here! DH & DS drove to DS’s university to pick up all his stuff and bring it home, since we got the news yesterday that they won’t being going back this semester. I told DH I would stay home and get some laundry done, but he saw through it. His reply, “ you just want to stay home and scrapbook”. Guilty! No laundry has been done yet, but I have scrapped a page from DS starting college last year and I played with my Silhouette a bunch trying to learn how to use all the functions.
Everyone’s pages look great. I will try to pop in tomorrow also, but I better start some laundry now!

I was kicked out of the office on Monday to work at home. Which I can do - - but I miss my team. I have some layouts ready to go and a swap group project so I should have something to contribute.

Started on Christmas, I believe 2011 lol! I actually have Christmas stocked up for years since I just like to buy Christmas paper not use it Working on changing that! I am not sure how to share the pages... I am doing pretty basic pages, remembering to add extra on a page once in awhile not on every page and it no longer seems so overwhelming.

I ended up getting one of my scrappy deliveries today, but still not the one from yesterday. 😪 Anyway, made fast work of one of Vicki Boutin’s Let’s Wander papers.

View AttachmentLove how you used that bold paper. Great layout! I’m still up and scrapping pictures of DD and me at a tea room. I’m using Carta Bella Practically Perfect. It is, in fact, perfect for these pictures. 😁

I'm really, really late to the party by a whole three pages, but I'll join in if you'll have me! I'm going to go back through the thread to catch up The layouts are looking beautiful ladies. I have been working from home for the last 5 days and haven't left the house for four of those days. Today I will need to go out to get fresh air and restock on our essentials. The UK government is really advising against panic buying and is assuring us that there is plenty of food for us all, so our stance is that we are self isolating with leaving the house only for food, or a walk in an isolated area for fresh air. I've found it hard to transition from WFH to crafting, as I am using the desk in my craft room to work from. Is anyone else feeling that? It's dampening my mojo, but I'm hoping being part of this crop will ignite my fire to scrap again!

Welcome to the party, peachiceteas I get what you mean about work taking over your mental space when you are in that room. Can you put together a scrappy kit and take it into a different space in your home?

Lots going on here! Yeah! I am one that the events of the world, community, and home have brought my ability to sleep well to it's knees. I don't feel anxious, but obviously my sub-conscience is working over time? My DS#1 arrived home from Job Corps, we will see if it is blessing or I've made it through the videos from Alanda Craft on how to use my ScanNCut DX. WOW, I should have done that a long time ago! They opened the Canvas Workspace online version for me as my computer is too old for the download versions. And I took a peas advice and purchased the Easy Cut Studio. It is pretty intuitive so far. I did find a video on how to weld test without losing the inners, and that seems to be mostly working. I spent HOURS in Canvas Workspace creating the title for a layout that I will post later. So yoga, dog walk, making cauliflower rice, and a few other things are on my agenda BEFORE crafty time!

I'm working on my Christmas album. Praise be! I thought I'd be all Covid-19 but it turns out I need an escape right now. I'm even playing a Christmas album in my headphones... I have encountered a new issue: can't print any journaling as we're rationing our printer's ink. We need to print a brand new certificate each time we leave our home so until we get the new ink in, uncompleted pages for me. In the unexpected effects of confinement category...

I’m trying to limit my online time during the day (my phone battery is helping me out by draining itself at an alarming rate) so I haven’t checked in much here or taken pictures yet, but I dug into my Heidi Swapp Wolf Pack 6x6 paper pad and a few extra full sheets I bought and I’m making cards! I should’ve bought one other full sheet - the bears would be pretty great to cut apart and use as elements on my cards, but I’m pausing before I put in another paper order. It’s so going - I’m a little out of practice as well as distractible (might need to put a Do Not Disturb on my phone for a while) but so far so good. I’ll post some pictures later today once I commit to a few more designs.
I have PLENTY of projects to work on.

I'm working from home today, but checking in here periodically and I hope I still have energy to craft once I'm done with work! sleepingbooty certificate? how does that work? I think I am going to go out later to get some groceries... but I might put it off until tomorrow. Trying to figure out which will be a less crowded time...

We need to fill in a new certificate for every single outing. Identity, address, reason for leaving your home (you get to pick one in a list and the cop controlling you checks whether that holds up or not). You're meant to download the certificate online (there's the "permanent work permit" certificate and the derogatory certificate for everything else: 10-minute walk around your neighbourhood, walking the dog, taking out the recyclement bins, going to the grocery store, urgent medical care, handing over children if you're sharing custody, helping out an aging/handicapped relative) and have it on you during the entire outing + proof whenever necessary (proof that you pre-ordered your groceries for pick-up, doctor's note, proof of your relative in need of assistance, etc.). They're not joking around here. You get fined 135€ (US$150-ish) if you don't have the paper or your reason isn't considered valid by the cop.

I have a prize for this #STAYATHOME Crop: Rona, Is That You? Version. It was originally intended for the crop earlier this month, but with sleepingbooty dealing with the rona earlier than the US, we all dropped the ball. Anyway, this is probably better in the long run. More participants and a much needed prize at the end!!! I’ll let booty figure out how to determine the lucky recipient of... ::drumroll:: Kelly Purkey December Daily minikit AND 4x6 December Daily binder (red with Jasmine Jones writing “Merry” all over the front in WHITE. I’ll edit this post with links as soon as I find them. www.kellypurkey.com/its_me_kp/2015-december-daily/www.google.com/amp/s/www.pinterest.at/amp/pin/339107046926394220/

sleepingbooty Sorry your journaling printing has to wait. Dare I ask, but aren't there some people who don't have a printer or ink? After the whole breakfast, backyard time, school work, lunch rush, I finally sat down at my scrapping space. I taped down the photos & titles on three layouts from the same event. Later I'll figure out how to embellish them.

I created two layouts that I’m really happy with. I showed the fam and they enjoyed the captured memory from long ago.
I think this is a great time to go through all your albums. Relive and talk about those times and places you went to.
