Wonderful idea! I have been journaling but would like to make a few pages on the current situation.
I have been thinking about tackling a big project like a Disney trip. This might be a good time and would be a nice distraction.

Haha, I'd still be pretty "eeped" out by a toddler with a shiv. Clearly, I don't have kids! One day when my twin DDs were 3 or 4, I walked into their room to find one straddling the other with a plastic knife held high, poised to come down on her sister. "What are you doing?!" She called back,"I'm giving her a C-section!" and plunged the knife into her sister's middle, wiggling the zipper of her pajamas open, and proceeded to pull out about 20 assorted teddy bears, bunnies and puppies. I still laugh thinking about it I'm trying to remember who shared a video of day 1 of quarantine home school yesterday showing their kid trying to saw off the head of a stuffed unicorn with a popsicle stick!

If you are looking for ideas about how to journal about COVID19, librarylady shared a prayer over on NSBR Prayer for these Times No matter what your belief system, these words serve as a reminder that this is happening to everyone, and helps to put it in perspective.

I pulled some photos to work with and matched them to some background papers. I still have lots more to do, but it's a start.

I have a few hours of work to do from home right now but after that, I'm all in! I need some fun with paper and stickers and vellum and ink and stamps and... Happy Thursday, everyone! Can't wait to hear about your crafty endeavours.

I'm in! No stamp has been touched in this house for almost 2 weeks. March 7 was our last crafty Saturday and when I got home I dropped all of my stuff on the dining room table where it sat. Yesterday I started cleaning up and organizing that mess. I need a bit more time to finish that today and then I'll be ready to get my craft on for the rest of the weekend. Thanks for organizing this, sleepingbooty!

I'll try and chat, hopefully create something, but my son has been off the walls hyper. Today I pick up the dreaded homework packet. His poor teacher! I don't know how she did around 10-12 individualized packets for his class (all special needs). I kid you not, he made a shiv out of a Popsicle stick yesterday. He's planning something.
People are annoying me, so I'll probably be making some mini albums. I have to be in a happy mood to scrap happy photos. I have plenty of adhesive and papers! Hugs. What a fabulous teacher! I hope that you are feeling better today.
Today is the first day in awhile that I've felt like scrapping. My anxiety has been high, and I've felt way too distracted and worried. Hugs. I have been thinking about you.

Hello croppers! I'm done with work, just printed a few movie poster images for my Christmas album and I'm about to tackle my memory planner pages so I can have that all caught up by the end of the week. Final day of winter for the Northern Hemisphere... I hope the cold season has been kind to all of you. Definitely looking forward to warmer temperatures and long days over here despite the strict confinement rules. I still need to figure out a way to get proper vitamin D inside the apartment since we can't leave for more than a 10 to 15-minute walk daily now. Living room window is wide open, I have my afternoon espresso and a square of chocolate, let's do this!

I'm stealing a few minutes here & there to putz around in my scraproom today. I'm pretty sure the kids can hear the snick of my trimmer being used, and immediately find me to tell me what they absolutely require at that very instant, lest they faint from hunger/thirst/boredom.
I altered a few cut apart cards with alpha stickers today.
_
ETA: on the brown card, the red letters say "DON'T" (come in), (we're) "not" (open)
I don't know why that didnt photograph clearly.

Finished a two pager I had found the photos and done some Silhouette cutting for yesterday. Now I have to decide where to go next. I have finished the 12x12 dgk pages I had set a March 20th deadline on (b/c I thought family was coming here and then I was going to family ....) Thinking I may go back to my 6x8 album about me... But first, a second cup of coffee... Best decision I made in the last year--so clairvoyant of me--ordered my favourite ground coffee to be batch mailed to me. They had a glitch and doubled up my order. I have LOTS of coffee...

I want to play along, but with 7 kids in school I am getting and email/text every 5 minutes from someone. It's going to take me 12 hours just to straighten out who is supposed to be doing what where. I appreciate the teachers adapting to the situation, but dang, give me a minute to catch my breath. So once I get it all sorted I can play...maybe.

I'm back in my office today... it feels so weird... so normal and so not normal at the same time.
My work is an essential government function (we bring in all the state's money) so without us, things would come to a standstill... so we can't not work. And not everything can be performed remotely so we're all coming up with a remote working schedule that works for us (for me that's 4 days at home, 1 day here). It feels great to get out of the apartment, but I feel like I'm cheating almost? It's all just so strange....
Anyways, after today I plan on going home and, except for some outdoor walks, I plan on staying there for 6 days or so until my next time into the office. Despite this all being so awful... the introvert in me is super excited for multiple days of staying home and crafting! My Ali Edwards kits should be delivered today and I can't wait to dig in... I'm going to start with some project life spreads from this past February.

I finished a "100th day of school" layout. Pretty simple, but turned out okay.
I assembled a 12x12 layout that had been waiting on my shelf. Glued down the title. Still needs embellishments.
I have the makings of another school layout on my desk.

Thanks for putting this one sleepingbooty. It's something to look forward to.

LavenderLayoutLady Love your alterations to reflect the weird times we live in! Social distancing, social distancing and some more social distancing. *high five* I hope the kiddos leave you alone a bit. ALL the but-mooooom drama! grammadee You lucky ducky! So much coffee... Such a shame about the altered family plans but hopefully you can work on some projects at home to focus on other things in the meantime. Are you enjoying the 6x8 format (my favourite)? thwarth Good luck with all the interruptions! Fingers crossed they let you have a bit of time to play and craft along with us. lasteve1 It must feel nice to be allowed out, I'm jealous. Not part of the indispensable workforce so I'm stuck teleworking exclusively... Happy catching up with PL! I'll be doing the same with my memory planner. Nothing like the feeling of being all caught up with your year around documenting. KikiPea Quick, Mr Postman, bring KikiPea her scrappy package! Yay for having fun with brand new goodies...

I just printed all the journaling in my memory planner pages from mid-February until yesterday. Phew, that's done! Added a bit of stamping and now I'm off to select photos to illustrate the latest developments (spoiler: almost excusively coronavirus updates) so I can get those printed. Just past 6PM here and the daylight is slowly starting to fade. Time to close the window because it's getting a bit chilly. My SO is cooking tonight so I won't have to stay away from my scrappy endeavours too long.

Finished the 5 pages, easy when you don’t have to journal. Talked myself out of “oh I am sure I am saving this cool paper for some other project to be named...” Use the stash!

sleepingbooty, you are always here to cheer us on. Thanks for that. To everyone suffering from anxiety, I am so sorry. Give yourself points for getting up, getting dressed and being here to have some crafty time. I DO NOT suffer from anxiety and I am feeling anxious right now. I can't imagine how hard these crazy times are for those of you that struggle with anxiety.

grammadee You lucky ducky! So much coffee... Such a shame about the altered family plans but hopefully you can work on some projects at home to focus on other things in the meantime. Are you enjoying the 6x8 format (my favourite)? Didn't get to that book yet... Got distracted by the CRAFTY GIRL papers in the kit and ended up putting together a 12 x 12 two pager with pic's of my kids & grandkids enjoying my scrapbooks. That LO made me feel closer to them. And reminded me why I am doing this. It's in the Gallery. Glad you are getting your planner up to date, and yay for a chef in the kitchen! Thanks so much for all you do to keep our spirits up. msliz , did you get your planned pages done? justjac , I hope your mojo comes back soon. You know how much I hate cleaning up my scraproom, but I ended up doing that earlier this month. Unearthed a bunch of bits and bobs left behind from other projects--diecuts and cb pieces, brads, tiny scraps of pp I love. They are now in a pile at the corner of my newly liberated scrap counter, and I am now having fun attaching random little extras to my pages. I [think] that makes up for all the other stuff I put away and now can't remember where I put it... thwarth , I hope the home schooling settles down to a routine. That's alot to get used to for all of you. Dd has just one kid--and a dh and adult sister--home with her while she tries to work at her job from home and make progress on her PhD studies, and she said that they have figured out a routine that works to carve out work time for everyone, yet still keep the little guy busy. She has the learning targets for her ds's level in school and they are ignoring the learning packages and doing stuff that helps him learn but doesn't feel like work. But I know if I were in your shoes there is no way I could do crafting... (((hugs))) LavenderLayoutLady , you may have to resort to a trick my mother taught me (by being my mom and using on me). Don't come to ME if you are bored. If you come to me looking for something to do, I will give you something to do. It will be some chore I need done around the house. Amazing how they start to figure out how to entertain themselves... ferblover, kudos on letting go of that perfect use for those supplies and using them. Five pages! Wow! Care to share? ss thank GOD for people like you who wade out there and look after the rest of us... PLEASE take some time to decompress. Breathe. If you have the energy, pull out some photos of happier, less stressful times, or some pretty papers, and let yourself just play for awhile. (((((HUGS)))))
