Nylene, I love everything about this layout! What font did you use for the word Christmas? Thank you! I love that title and wish I had a whole font in it. But it is a cut file from the Silhouette Design Store called "Christmas words" and has a variety of words in pretty fonts. I snagged it yesterday since all designs are 50% off. I also picked up some others for pages I am trying to complete in the next couple of weeks. Can you tell me who the artist is? I tried searching for "Christmas words" and got 192 pages of results.

I finished my 2014 Christmas season layouts! One one-page and four two-page layouts. Also, I finished a one-page New Year 2015 layout. I am so glad to check those off my list.
Now on to Hawaii 1994.
I would post photos, but I have no idea how to do that.

Sorry to hear about your son’s seizure refugeepea I’m glad to hear those who can are going outside - it makes such a big difference to get some fresh air and get away from all the weirdness and media (and the family!). Outside the seasons are still turning, which is very reassuring and the local squirrels are still acting like they’re on meth, oblivious to our human problems . I’m trying to get outside for a good walk every day while I can. I love what everyone has posted so far! It’s hard to settle at the moment, but once you get past the first bit it feels good to get back to a crafty flow state. I have been making cards to donate. I’m using up a 6x6 paper pad, Heidi Swapp Wolf Pack. The photos are not the greatest, I left it a bit late in the day, but hopefully you get the idea! Lots of dark greens, greys, browns, and a very deep blue (all of which probably look black in this lighting - sorry!) I still have lots more to go. I just cut out some more circles to stamp and some more hello die cuts. Absolutely gorgeous cards joblackford! The "hellO" with the misty mountain (the vertical strip to anchor the hello? Um, hello!), and the "explore" with the trees are my favourites!

The vertical strip tree one is a fairly close lift of one of Kristie Marcotte’s cards using the same collection. I’m trying to be inspired by her without actually copying her. Luckily I can’t seem to follow instructions exactly even if I want to.

joblackford, I love your cards! I have that collection out to document my Alaska pages, and the leftovers will be perfect for cards. I laid out and journaled 3 page spreads tonight. As tough as this shut down is going to be, I love having lots of time to scrapbook. I’m thankful to have something that I love to keep my mind from worrying. It came as a shock when California was shut down last night. I have a business, employees, not to mention family concerns. My kids are far away. Trying to stay positive and push back the feelings of dread. Is anyone else having a hard time?

Some love for p. 2: ferblover Use the stash, use the stash, use the stash! There's no better LO/project than the present to use that pretty paper. cristelina Sending love to those suffering from anxiety as well. Like you, I don't suffer from it but this situation is definitely making me feel anxious and stressed so I can only imagine how it is for those who do... justjac Kudos to you for doing 1 LO/day in February! Sending you good organising vibes for your scrap room when you feel up to the task. Eddie-n-Harley Looking forward to having you craft along this weekend. ss Thank you so much for taking care of the nation, a true hero. grammadee I love that you're scrapbooking photos that make you feel closer to your family during these confinement days. It's important to continue feeling connected and close even if we're socially distancing. You'll have to let me know what you think of 6x8 when you get to your "about me" album. It's my favourite format!

Love for page 3, part 1: Elsabelle Yay for cutting into a hoarded pad! Those Shimelle papers are so pretty and remind me of the glory days of Crate Paper. Wishing you loads of fun with it! Linda 'Home Alone Again' Oh, how perfectly on theme! Butterflies for a page about leaving, love it! Beautiful cardstock selection to complement the pattern paper: the soft taupe and turquoise are wonderful. Great job using the visual triangle to keep the eye moving and create natural balance between the three main elements. Well done! 'Hello There' Great spring vibes with all the floral elements. Kudos to you for moving out of your comfort zone: it has worked and looks super pretty. I think it came together beautifully. I love that you created this layered flower patch to document a long-term friendship. It underlines the growth you've been through together and the great things that comes from taking care of one another. msliz 'YouTube Screenshots' Love the burst of energy created by the overlapping photos: it's such a great way to convey the idea of movement and thus that this LO documents a video! Gorgeous paper + embellishment selection. Those intricate wooden hearts are a lovely touch and remind me of the tree trunks of those beautiful leaves on the pattern paper. I had to laugh at your DD calling you creepy for taking screenshots! KikiPea 'Far Out' Oh, these photos are so funny! I totally agree that scrapping pics that make you feel super happy is that much more important right now. You've done an amazing job building those clusters (as you always do )! I love that you've added so many leafy and floral elements as though they were sprouting from the corners of the photos: what a great way to illustrate all the good things that come from spending time with a loved one, laughing and being silly. scrapbookwriter So sorry that you can't attend your IRL crop with everything that's happening in the world. I hope you'll find the company, community and encouragement here in stead. Yes to getting things done rather than waiting for some sort of elusive "perfect moment" (or product or pattern paper) to get to them. Like you, I'm also doing a bit of Christmas documenting. Escapism during tough times, am I right?

Page 3 love, part 2: Elsabelle WOOHOO, the pre-ordered stuff is finally in your hands! January seems forever ago... Must feel amazing to finally get your goodies. Linda 'November 30th Sketchy Saturday' Love the horizontal vs vertical design: visually interesting and a great way to document multiple photos while underlining all the nuanced differences (that are at the heart of the story) between them. The gingham touches are adorable and such a perfect fit for food pics! Had to giggle at your journaling and mention of there never being leftover bacon when you're cooking. These little remarks add so much personal flavour and depth to the storytelling. Your children will love hearing your voice when they flip through the family memory books. 'January 25th Sketchy Saturday' Oh, what a lovely idea to scrap a postcard! And that your kiddo's teacher writes postcards. I love the big green block to cement the different graphic elements. That yellowm mat was the perfect choice here: it's not too contrasing and distracting but it gives just enough of a pop to help bring forward the postcard. grammadee Gold star sticker for you! Seriously, that is one very full album so kudos for taking the time to organise all the pages. It must feel great to have everything organised and see the final result of all your scrappy work and play. I'm amazed at the amount of LOs you've made in just a month. Wow! cannmom Hopefully, the laundry's done and you can scrapbook the rest of your weekend away sans guilt. gramma A fellow teleworker! I totally understand missing one's colleagues. Here's to hoping we can make up a bit for all the people you can no longer see until this nasty virus is under control. (PS: I'm from France, not England. We're in full lockdown mode right now.) KikiPea 'Ephemera!' Is that a yellow terrazzo effect pattern paper? What? I've not seen a yellow one before! It's gorgeous. Love all your graphic black and white touches on this one: such a great way to inject extra dynamics by sprinkling these high contrast elements throughout. That semi-hidden graphic heart, I see it! Very neat. Gorgeous work and storytelling with the strip of photos. peachiceteas Transitioning to crafting when your main scrappy surface has multiple purposes is always a bit tricky but eventually, you'll figure out an approach that works for you. Don't let it kill your mojo! Glad to hear you can still walk to an isolated area for some fresh air. I miss that over here. I'd love to be able to walk to the beach but alas... Oh well, I'll return to the beach when this nasty virus is under control! angel97701 Sorry to hear your sleep pattern has been shaken by the worry of current events. It's scary! If it's any consolation, you eventually find your feet. A psychologist mentioned that it could take up to 10 days of confinement before you start finding a new routine that works for you. Here's to hoping you can quickly sleep properly again. So glad you've mastered your ScanNCut beast! You're going to have so many new scrappy opportunities with it, yay...

Good morning everyone! I hope you'll all wake up to bright sunshine wherever you are. I've enjoyed a slow start to the day so far, basking in the sunlight over breakfast and trying to enjoy my Saturday as though it were a regular weekend day, just to keep some semblance of normalcy during lockdown. Here are a few photos of the entry about my favourite Christmas movies in my Yuletide album that I worked on yesterday (minus journaling due to printer ink being rationed and stitching since I need my mother's sewing machine for that): Vellum, Kelly Purkey cards + alpha stickers, labels and a few stamped sentiments: just my jam!

Wow, so much going on here. No much time to sit at the computer, but everyone is doing wonderful work. I am so inspired! DH gets after me when I spend so much time on my computer, especially now that both boys are home. I'm keeping a bullet journal of each day's activities for all of us. I did finish 1 single page, and a double page since Thursday, and am almost done with another inspired by a sketchy Saturday. Only I can't find which one it is I've also Bible journaled early in the morning, very simple but the thought I want to carry with me through the day.
So sorry for your additional stress refugeepea over your son's medical issues. Stay sane, and see if you can do a telemed conference or something?
The rest of the house is up this morning. I need to get some stuff done especially if I wan to join the crop online today!

Peas, this is the first LO I have made since 2016/17. And the one and only LO I did then was the first since maybe 2014. I had so much fun! I had forgotten how good it is to have a large space to work with, and also know that I don’t have to sell it/give it to someone else. My output over the last few years has been solely cards. I am getting back into this medium stat! Anyway, here’s the LO. I’m pretty chuffed with it. It’s of my DD's fiancée, and is her first official school photo at the age of five. She gave me the photo last year. My DD is so happy that this was the photo that got me scrapping again!

I have that collection out to document my Alaska pages, and the leftovers will be perfect for cards. Ooh, this collection will be perfect for Alaska photos. It's giving me a wonderful PNW vibe, feels like home I think a lot of people are struggling with worry and uncertainty. I'm trying to check in with friends regularly and there definitely seems to be an ebb and flow - one day people will be tearing through projects and the next it will be the pits of despair and worry, or total lethargy. It doesn't help that *every* conversation seems to be virus related right now. I recommend books! Getting caught up in someone else's story for a while is a relief. Even though I'm reading the roughest of the Harry Potter books and listening to The Dovekeepers (oh good, a siege to take my mind off -- ) it's a nice distraction from my own concerns. {{long distance hugs}} We'll get through this and figure it out.

I'm reading a true crime book that doesn't require much concentration. That probably sounds like the opposite of helping based on the genre, but it's a nice reminder that hey, it could be worse!
ETA: We got the trampoline (with net of course) up! My son got a few jumps in before he threw his shoes over the fence. The rule is, he has to come in when that happens. Luckily he chooses the neighbor's side yard and not the street (most of the time). The neighbor is fine with me retrieving items. I am going to attempt making a sarcastic sense of humor mini album that is Anne Taintor inspired.

Thanks for the recommendation to read. I also have a crochet project I want to start. Instead, I am watching Love Is Blind on Netflix. Day 1 of quarantine for me, and things have eroded quickly. Everyone is struggling through this in their own way, and it was silly of me to ask if anyone else is having a hard time. Of course you are! I appreciate all of the stories shared here, and your are each in my heart as we carry on in this historic time together.

#lostmymind I figure I might as well throw together a little DD album this weekend. Just went through my album stash and grabbed an AE 4x4 album. Think I'll just run through my camera roll and print all 4x4 pics through the season. Get them in there. #simplicity Grabbed some cards and a few pieces of seasonal memorabilia (cutest Starbucks gift card!) Journal and embellishment plans for it...still thinking. It'll come to me. ETA: I'll use PicStitch to print (9) 4x4 pics in a 12x12 grid and then print on my wide format printer.

I think the name listed is Christmas, Merry, Believe. Thank you! I love Kolette Hall - she is absolutely my favorite Silhouette artist. I found that design but the preview shows the word "christmas" as lower case. In your design, "Christmas" is upper case with a beautiful swoopy capital "C." Does the design come with both options? EDIT: I think I found it! "Believe in the Magic of Christmas" has the swoopy "C" I like in your layout. Kolette Hall Design #52785. Still love everything about your layout!

Here are a couple of my Alaska layouts with Heidi Swapp Wolf Pack. Kept it kind of simple. Truly one of my favorite lines ever. They’re not sideways if you click on them. And now it looks like we can only have 2 attachments per post. Grrr, I need to figure out the Flickr thing again. Off to read grammadee ’s tips. (Photos removed)
