This challenge is for those who scrap slowly and need encouragement to keep scrapping all month or those who want a little encouragement to continue scrapping. It is great for those new to Challenges and is a fun place to come chat with other Pokey scrappers. 1. Post a layout each week, or four layouts per month. These can be posted in the thread or in the gallery. If you post in the gallery, be sure to come to the thread and tell us you posted and tell us the name of the layout so we can find it. You can copy the URL from the gallery and paste it directly into your thread for a link. 2. This challenge can be combined with any other challenges and can be paper, digital or hybrid scrapping. These can be cards, layouts or altered items or any other creative projects. 3. Please comment on the work of others on the thread as your time allows. We all love comments on our layouts. 4. Have fun with this! This should be a "no pressure" challenge. Just post what you finish whether it is one layout or more than four. Come chat with the group as time permits. We love to welcome new members. If you are on a Team, complete the 4 challenges and post them on this thread for an extra 4 points.

Welcome to February and all the red and pinks that it entails. I always love Valentine's Day scrapping. It's also my DD's birthday so that makes it even better. There are so many pretty papers and embellishments for this month.
My living room is ready to be put back together again and I look forward to vacuuming up all the pine needles and putting things back in place. I will miss the lights of the tree and the village though.
I hope to have time to do some scrapping tomorrow. I'll post my finished layouts here tomorrow.
Good luck on 29-4-29 for those signed up for a team!

Hello shiny new February thread! 🥳
I really need to get my A into G and prepare my sample layout for my first 28-4-29 day on Saturday. I have thought about what to do, but that's as far as I have gone!

Happy February, Pokeys! Thanks for the thread, nylene. I feel like I need to catch up with news from the January thread. Good news, I *think* about your shoulder, nylene. Since you were referred by a doctor you trust that must give you some comfort. I am glad you can schedule the surgery for a time that suits your family better. Would you sleep better in a recliner if it were not out in the living room? Maybe invest in a "zero gravity" chair for the bedroom and practice sleeping in it before your surgery? When do you leave for the Big Apple, kitbop? gramma, I celebrate stowing away my Christmas crafting supplies because it is the one set that actually stays put in its place for a few months. Everything else I try NOT to store it away for fear of forgetting where I put it, so my scrap room is a perpetual mess which I deal with only when the piles reach critial mass. Oh, and when is your cruise? Linda, I hope you get a better sleep tonight. Hoping you are not coming down with something. How are your dh's eyes doing? AussieMeg I needed to get my A in G early cuz my challenge was first. But also I will be gone to Orlando with dd's family for a week in the middle of this month so I needed to work ahead.

Happy February! It just occurred to me that I was absent on the Pokey thread all January. I went back to work in January and we have been quite busy. As usual, I have a lot of events scheduled for February as well so I’m not sure how much I can hang out. This weekend we are going to the mountains to see the snow with my cousins and all the kiddos. Should be fun!
I bought two baby themed collection kits from ACOT so I should be able to create some more pages, if time permits. Can’t wait to get back more into scrapping and share more with my friends on here too.
Hope everyone’s been doing well!

Happy February Pokeys! joyfulnana, we leave Friday, so I won't be around to crop I haven't had a chance to scrap all week. Today we are seeing 4 houses directly after work, then I need to pack because we have to go to the airport directly after work tomorrow. I'm feeling super anxious today and probably should have called in sick, but here I am drinking coffee with my shoes on, typing hello to you all when I should be dashing out the door

Thank you nylene for setting up the new thread. Yay for yje living room being almost back to rights - don't overdo things with the vacuuming etc... AussieMeg - you've got this! grammadee - Dh's eyes seem to be slowly improving - he goes back to the eye surgeon sometime this month so we'll know more then. I think we're complete opposites on our crafty spaces - I can't find stuff if I don't put it away and having piles stresses me out. Welcome back scrappyrabbit - I'm sure returning to work was quite an adjustment! joyfulnana - I'm available for Friday evening -and I always have photos that need scrapping. DS sent an adorable penguin photo overnight - I haven't printed any of his antartica pics yet but I am looking forward to scrapping snow for a change. kitbop - sounds like a busy couple of days! Have a wonderful weekend getaway and good luck with the househunt! time for me to start laundry and count my January points...

It is so nice to hear from so many of you early in this month. scrappyrabbit, I have thought about you and saw your beautiful page posted in the gallery with baby and daddy. You should post it on this thread too. It's adorable. Glad to have you check in here, but don't ever worry about being absent when you are busy. We will take you anytime you can post. New babies and going back to work is a lot all at once! Linda, I am glad your DH is getting some healing in his eye. We had 64 degree temps yesterday and I thought of you and wondered if you are still in the 70's. We are expecting snow in the next two days so kitbop, I hope you can relax and just have a marvelous time with Katie. grammadee, I identify with always having a mess in your scraproom. I think I need a room twice the size I have...or I need to do more purging. I am still working on some Christmas photos and a stack of other subjects too. So I have a suitcase of Christmas, one of Valentines and one of birthdays all out at the same time. Not smart! When do you leave for Orlando? Is your DH going too? kellyr21, are you being hit with all the rain in your area of Calif? The photos on TV look scary at how fast it comes and the force of the water. gramma, how about you. Looks like that area around SF is very WET. I hope you are not in the flooding zones. joyfulnana, I am glad you and gramma have a healthy and fun rivalry. I hope both teams do well. I have a late Dr. appt on Friday so will maybe be a bit late if someone starts a crop. I should be able to get on sometime during the evening. Have a great weekend, everyone.

I should be able to get on sometime during the evening. hope the appt goes well and we'll get to chat with you afterwards

Happy Thursday and happy February! nylene, thanks for the new thread and yes it has been raining today but in our area it doesn't seem to be bad. Just normal. Hope you all are having a good day. I gotta go back to read your posts and see the gallery. Last Sunday was our 18th wedding anniversary! Plus, my dh took Monday off, too so we had two days to celebrate. We went to Laguna Beach and had a great time. The weather was in the high 70's and it was just beautiful. We saw the sunset and boy was it awesome. Also, they have lots and lots of art galleries there and it was fun walking around seeing some of them. So inspiring! Monday we just relaxed and went to one of our local restaurants for dinner. Waving hi and have a nice evening.

That's ok, we have Bolton and Stone Cold Jones, and Sneed.... lol. man, I wish Chris hadn't held out last season. I'm afraid we're gonna lose him and he's such an awesome guy. I want to keep them because I like their personality, not becuase they help the team lol. Linda and anyone that wants to crop, I'll start one at 7:30 EST. Happy Anniversary kellyr21! It sounds like a fabulous, relaxing time!

Hello all. I got one of my titles cut and glued last night and another ready for cutting. Hoping to get that done and one besides before the crop so I can use them on pages. I got a produce box delivered today - straight from farm - I think it's their first week doing box subscriptions so I hope it's a success and they can continue. I ordered the small (1-2 person) weekly box and got plenty of produce for the three of us - delivered in a nice wooden crate that I'm to leave out on next Friday when my next delivery comes. I've been working up a menu to USE all the delicious looking produce - we got oranges, starfruit, onions, a HUGE cabbage, tomatoes, avocado, a lovely bunch of carrots, corn, and lettuce. looking forward to cropping tonight joyfulnana and gramma

Linda, your produce box sounds delicious. I hope you can enjoy all of it. What a great service to deliver produce weekly. Produce and milk are what take me to the store every week. We had milk delivered for years but it became very expensive so we make the trip to the store. Not sure there is milk delivery service around here anymore. I look forward to seeing your titles.I love your Explore! kellyr21, congrats on the anniversary and trip. It sounds like such a nice relaxing time together. I'm sure you enjoyed the art galleries. I'm glad the weather was good for you. I hope to get some things together today so I can crop with you Pokeys tonight.

I will be busy with family this evening, so no crop dropping in for me. Have fun! Linda, except for the fresh fruit that sounds like a trip to our garden in the summer! I don't buy much fresh produce in the winter. But did get dh to bring home a veggie tray for tonight's supper. Happy anniversary kellyr21!

I hope everyone had a Happy New Year! I am behind again on the board. I have had quite the time the last month with my right eye. I haven't been on the computer that much. My right eye started being sore on January 10th. I was driving to St. Louis 2 days later. By Saturday, my eye was red but no drainage. I ended up doing a telehealth appointment at an urgent care. The PA thought I just had an allergy/irritation and ordered stronger allergy eye drops. That didn't work and the pain was increasing. I went to my corneal specialist on Monday. We had bad weather so I was lucky they had cancelations. I was told I had iritis, which is rare. I was put on steroid eye drops 6x a day with a follow-up in two weeks. At my two-week appointment, my eye didn't respond as he had hoped. He said it was looking more like scleritis instead of iritis. He put me on oral steroids and decreased the steroid eye drops. My eye looks better but is still red and painful. He said generally you only get scleritis if you have an underlying condition. Great. He is having a specialist look at some labs I have done in the last year. I may be seeing a new specialist and having more blood work done to figure this out. I wasn't really excited when I heard this news. I have started something new at the hospital. I am working as a virtual nurse one day a week and then 2 days on the floor. It is a nice break and less stressful. Last week was my first day and my login didn't work yet. I am hoping on Monday that I am able to login and get a routine down. I followed another nurse for a bit and she was able to sign-in and show me things. After that, I sat and listened to an audiobook as I updated charts. nylene, my mom had shoulder surgery on Jan. 8th. She has been recovering good and started with therapy. I need to call her to see how that has went for her. I hope you get some relief soon. I am having new exterior doors and storm doors installed. It has been quite the process! The guy is on the third day of working on this put should be done today. I am excited to see the finished project! I need to get off the computer to rest my eye a bit.

Dh and I went to a street festival in a town nearby - it was fun wandering about seeing the various booths, the classic car show, and the local history museum - and of course listening to the live music. DD17 was in Orlando for the day at an Academic Team meet - they won 4/6 matches but she wasn't very happy because the last match they lost to a team they had just beaten in the previous match. I finally got the journalling done for my layouts I did at last night's crop - thank you all for keeping me company stamps are Everyday Explorer the cut files for these two are TreasureBox Designs

Good Morning Pokeys! I enjoy our Friday night crops so much, thanks for joining in Linda you got a lot done! I love those titles, and your kids get great photos for you! Today is laundry, setting up a new printer, and buying cat food. It's raining here and a very cold 40's. A good day to stay in. I'm going to put together some pages that work with 29-4-29 to work on Friday night. I've got to a better job of preparing so I get something done besides chatting lol. gramma Kittle is scaring me. He manifested that come back win, and I also saw a clip of him in 2020 saying this is not the last time he will be in a SB. Of course, just cause he's in another one doesn't mean they are going to win it either ;P Waving hi at you all!

Linda you got a lot done! I love those titles, and your kids get great photos for you! Thank you - the rafting pictures - the troop leader bought the photo packages from the rafting companies...I think the canyoneering ones also. But yes, DD17 took some awesome scenery pictures! She was my kid who took her dSLR on a school field trip at 12. Good luck with the preparation for Friday. I need to get working on the 29-4-29 challenges once I'm done with these high adventure photos - I think I have 3-4 more layouts left. Hoping to get one or two done this morning...my bestie and I have a monthly phone date and I tend to scrap while she talks. Then Girl Scouts for DD this afternoon so DH and I will go shopping - Target and Joanns and maybe Trader Joes...all the stores we don't have here. Rainy and low 60s today for us.

I chatted on the phone with my bestie for 3 hours this morning and got some more layouts done and a loaf of bread baked while we talked. This one uses Scrapbook Generation Click Three and a brad from deep in my stash This one has loads of fussy cut trees (Echo Park I think) and bits from various other collections This one is super simple with a photorealistic background paper This one has fussy cut flowers with enamel dots and a title from a Cricut cartridge

Linda, your adventure pages are wonderful! Those layered titles are so perfect for the photos. Your DD has taken some beautiful scenery photos too. I love that she has taken some selfies so that she is in the photos as well as the scenery and activities. Those rafting photos are amazing! They did a good job taking them of the girls. Thanks for posting them here. I love coming to this thread and finding projects posted. knutschen, so glad to see your sweet face popping up! Never worry about being behind on what is going on here. Just hop on and let us know how you are doing. You are going to have a whole new house by the time you get through with all the projects you have done in the past few years. I'm sure you will love it! I am so sorry to hear about your eye. Eyes are so vital and are so finicky when they aren't working right. I hope they can get to the bottom of it and clear it up. Your virtual nursing sounds interesting and a good change from what you have been doing. Hope it works out well. Keep in touch about your eye! joyfulnana, I giggle and think about the fake rivalry between you and gramma every time I hear anything about football. I love it. Good luck to your teams.
