I was thinking of opening a crop in the morning around 9AM EST if anyone might be interested in scrapping for a while I'm not sure what our plans are in the morning but I'll try and join Thanks everyone for the wellwishes - I am feeling better today - and I think both DD and Dh are pleased with that - they had to manage dinner on their own for two nights

How long are you planning to keep it open, joyfulnana? Thinking I can probably join you about 8:30 Mountain time (Are you Eastern, or Central?)

joyfulnana 9AM EST is only 7AM here so it’s a bit too early for me on a Sunday. Have fun. Hey justjac, I saw this right as I remembered that was the wrong time! I wanted to start 10 my time, and got myself backwards there. So it would be 9EST/10C/9MT and then that is 7 AM for gramma, so hmmm. Maybe this is why there aren't usually Sunday crops lol.

gramma, what a sweet lady you posted about! How lucky you are to know her. She’s amazing. 115?Have a fun Super Bowl Sunday! Linda, I love the little gnome on Our Hive page. You have done so many really cool pages this week. Those fussy cut tea cups are the perfect accents. Love the way you used the patterned paper on that one. The way you layered your circles with the cats on At Home is really neat. I want to remember that. Your black and blue colors are so good with your computer page. Love it. Your birthday paper is wonderful. I can never find good b-day paper that works for adults. Yours is perfect. I love the paper on your Christmas page. I always love trucks filled with decor, hearts, trees, or whatever. I hope you are feeling better!! grammadee, you are such a busy lady. I don’t know how you keep up with it all. I’m glad you got registered for your Spring event. Is this an in-person event? I hope you get a better night's sleep tonight. kellyr21, I envy your good weather. It was 28 without the wind chill this morning as I went grocery shopping. Brrrr. It’s always nice to see your happy face pop up in the thread. It just brings a big smile to my face. joyfulnana, we missed you at the crop last night. I hope you get used to your new hours and aren’t overdoing everything. Have a happy Super Bowl Sunday! Hope we can catch you next time. AussieMeg, nice to see you checking in. Did you get a haircut? kitbop, it was so nice visiting with you last night. I felt guilty after I got off that you heard all about our miserable week, but I didn’t let you tell me about your trip with Katie. Sorry for monopolizing the conversation! You are a great listener and have good advice! Thanks for starting the crop. It was fun seeing justjac and scrappyrabbit too. DH’s facial chemo treatment brought out a huge cancer that is right above the nerve that allows the lower part of his mouth to work. It needs to be removed immediately before it eats through the nerve, leaving him drooling and biting his lip when he eats. If that occurs, there is no fix, it’s forever. So he is scheduled on Wed for surgery. Great way to spend Valentine's Day!

Thank you nylene Prayers for your DH - that's a scary location and I'm glad they are getting him in quickly. (((Hugs))) joyfulnana - I'm 100% confused on the time for tomorrow now. But i'll check here periodically in the morning and hope to find it in time to join in. DH and DD have plans to do work at the old house tomorrow and I'm little help with what they're doing so I'm staying home and will scrap and also prep our food for football - no idea if we're actually watching the game but the food will be fun. Good luck to joyfulnana and gramma tomorrow - may it be a good game for both teams!

nylene oh I hope his surgery goes well! So glad they caught that and are seeing him quickly. joyfulnana I can’t crop tomorrow, as my husband decided last minute to invite people for the Super Bowl. He will be grilling ribs. In other news, the baby absolutely LOVES her purées! We just started on Thursday. She’s tried avocado and banana so far. She grabs the spoon from us and feeds herself too, it’s hilarious.

AussieMeg , nice to see you checking in. Did you get a haircut? I got a cut and colour. I went a bit blonder for Christmas, but the regrowth was far more obvious, so I got her to put a few extra brown foils in this time. She was running half an hour behind (which is unusual for her) so I was there for nearly 3.5 hours. Ugh.

It's ok Linda, I was totally confused too, obviously lol. 11 EST is the start time, I'll go for at least a couple of hours grammadee. If tomorrow really just isn't a good day, no worries, I know it was spur of the moment lol. Oh nylene, I hope Steve's surgery goes well! Sending you (((hugs)))

Thanks for clarifying the time of the crop tomorrow, joyfulnana. I really hope to join in. I want to take on AussieMeg's sketch, but I need to get my head back around paper crafting and choose a set of photos and some papers. I may print a photo I took of a hiacynth I potted from a started bulb our neice gave me for my birthday. That would work for gramma's Spring challenge. Got the pantry and a top cupboard that needs some work done emptied today. Dd just left a little while ago with dgs. nylene I will be thinking of you and your dh on Thursday. Really hoping all goes well. He has had so many treatments over the past couple of years: he really deserves a break! Always up for some baby news, scrappyrabbit. So cool that she is grabbing the spoon and chowing down on the purees. Oh the pictures you can take! Glad you are feeling better, Linda.

I sorted out a couple of paper pads - split into keep and donate and got the keepers put away and the donations in a bag. And I got my recent acquistions put away. Hopefully I can tackle some 29-4-29 challenges tomorrow - I have ideas for a few. The photos I was working on the other day - I've given up on and tossed the pieces and will try again with a new layout in a new direction...the way I was I doing just wasn't jelling.

Here's the link, crop is open I'm only going to be able to stay for a couple of hours, about lunchtime for everyone, I will have a little guest, and finish food prep. Linda , grammadee , gramma , justjac That was fun, and I almost got a page done lol. Good to see you all gramma I'll be seeing you either here, or I'm on FB messenger lol. I'm not sure how Purdy will do, I hope he has a good game, even if they lose. there's no shame in losing to the Chiefs right now. But a good close game would be awesome.

I was rooting for the 49'ers. gramma , that was not fun, not fair to build up excitement and hopes then see the bully sucker punch us. OK, I know very little about football and didn't watch other than getting updates/highlights of plays, but I was so chuffed when the 49ers were up and still hopeful as we headed into OT! joyfulnana . Congrats. I suppose. You get Taylor and the Superbowl. Seems fair.

congratulations joyfulnana - I'm sure there are tons of celebrations in your area this week gramma - that was an excellent game and it could have gone either way! Well done to your team as well. And yes - DH, DD17, and I did sit and watch the whole thing. Today? I'm hoping DH can get a plumber appt for us ASAP - we have a clog in the sewer line and our tub is backing up. YUCK! So today is not off to a good start.

It was a great game. Officials did not impact the outcome with bogus calls for either side. The thing I'm upset about is not having anything to harass joyfulnana about!!

You'll think of something ... Don't you have a dog? She has a cat... This made me laugh out loud! Steve kept coming in to tell me the score and which Pokey Pea would be happy and which would be sad. He's sending his condolences to you, joyfulnana. Linda, I am so sorry about your sewer line. I hope you can get a plumber quickly. I love your pages. That layered title on your first page is great. I love that paper. I have that paper pad and use it so often to mount photos for my Church bulletin board. Cute little cluster in the corner. Great XO paper on the 2nd one. I am amazed at how ambitious your older children are, getting a garden going, etc. You have really taught them to be self-sufficient! That's such a great quality. Sweet photo of your Cathleen. I love the greens you used that match her shirt perfectly. Beautiful page. Thanks for posting! We have had Em helping us so much in the last week and she hasn't had time to make her cards for Card Club. I told her I would make hers since mine are finished. Off to find an easy sheetload I can pull together. Have a nice day, everyone!

Yes gramma will absolutely find something else to harass me about. And I will find something for her too. 😉😂 Oh my what a game!! That last couple of minutes everyone in the stadium thought their team was losing! I know there were times I was sure we had lost. I felt bad for gramma so I didn’t want to be in here celebrating last night lol.

I'm still catching up here, tell Steve thank you, but gramma is the one that needs consoling. Although for a while I was sure I needed them! The Chiefs need to be careful, what will they do when they kill off their fanbase, giving them heart attacks like that?! lol
