gramma - I don't know if you still need 3-ring albums but HL has some on clearance - I picked up several 8.5x11 and there were 12x12 as well.

This is the one I was working on during our on-line crop. It doesn't actually fit a challenge unless there is one for "Use a whole lotta stuff" Ali's parents took her to a Santa Cruz for a "no little kids" day for her birthday. TO HARE + 1 by CLAUDIA LOVELESS, on Flickr

Linda , I love the genealogy pages. Having a photo of the replica of where he was baptised is amazing. The dice paper is perfect for the photos of games being played. That's a great title block you pieced. Cool airplane and clouds photos with the travel papers. Love the cluster of travel icons in the corner. Love, love, love the wildflower page. Those 2 papers really work together and your dimensional flowers are beautiful. joyfulnana , it was fun visiting with you and Linda , justjac , kitbop and gramma . Thank you for starting some Friday evening crops. I finished all my sheetload cards and got a good start on a layout. Thanks! Wishing all of our traveling Pokeys safe travels! ETA: Silly me, I didn't realize the thread had gone to the next page, so I missed all the posts here! gramma , that layout is even cuter than I imagined. The rollercoaster with cars is so much work, and so delightful. It looks like they had such a great time "with no little kids". LOL. I am amazed at the cards you manage to make. I love every design. You pick the most beautiful papers and find the cutest and prettiest center image for each. I especially love the giraffe and doggies. You are an amazing woman!

nylene Thank you. I'm really not amazing - I hate housework so I scrap! It was so good to see Steve look so good and wanting to show us his battle scars. A long way from the fella that used to linger in the doorway!

gramma - that layout is amazing! I love the roller coaster and the cars and tickets! and so many lovely cards - you are very talented at matching papers and images. Thank you nylene -the papers on the wild flower page are the a and b side of a single paper...makes it so easy to coordinate them We picked up DD17 earlier today than planned -they broke camp early due to a thunderstorm rolling in. It rained all weekend but thunder and lightening is different. She had a great time despite the rain and despite having gearing issues with her bike.

gramma , I hear you on the housework. Much more fun to scrap. Here is a page and 3 sets of cards I have done this month. Shower the BrideInteractive Valentine & 2 Sheetloads I have another set of past sheetloads that I finished Friday, but haven't take a photo yet. The writing on the background of the Bridal Shower is shiny gold, not black.

Thanks for tagging me about the crop! We were out of town for a wedding. This week will be busy with my in laws in town for the baby’s baptism. I’ve also been hit with a nasty cold. I lost my voice! Thankfully it doesn’t seem like anyone else caught it.
Hope everyone is doing well!

scrappyrabbit - I hope you're better very soon. Prayers for Serena as she gets baptised - enjoy the time with family and friends. It's been a day here. Eye doctor this morning - we had to switch offices as our previous one no longer takes our insurance and this one has cancelled not one but two appointments for me this year but I did like the new dr and I have glasses on order. No eye issues (beyond the need for glasses) - yay! Septic tank was pumped this afternoon so we can use the washing machine again and take a bit longer showers - that's the good news. The bad news is that we need a new drainfield. The pump guys said probably 3500 but we're waiting on their office to call back and set up an official estimate. Now to slowly wade through 10 days worth of laundry plus DD's camping gear without overwhelming the system.

Hey Pokey's! I hope everyone is having a good week. Although Linda yours doesn't sound that great But you've made some lovely pages! Your color and pattern matching really shines on the smaller pages. nylene that Bridal shower LO is so pretty! I like how you used the text paper. I struggle with papers like that. Not a lot going on here this week. Working more than I want to lol. All of the traveling peas have me itchy to get away for a long weekend myself. I'll open a crop Friday night if anyone wants to crop. I still have the stitching to finish on my page from last week. Sending hugs to everyone!

Thank you joyfulnana - yeah it's been a not-so-fun week - and quite expensive. It'll be nearly $7K for the drainfield - ouch. But what can you do? It has to be replaced. I think this weekend is scheduled for me to do taxes - the icing on the week - I HATE doing them and always stress about it but alas, it too needs to be done. I'm planning to join in Friday night - I still have more Boundary Water photos to finish up and St Patrick's day cards to finish - they are all coloured but I need to pick papers and assemble. Like joyfulnana - I'm wishing I could be a travelling pea as well but no plans to do so until our big October trip.

Linda , you have done some beautiful pages. That wolf paper couldn't be more perfect for the wolves! I especially love your Ely page. That paper is so pretty and I love the design. Is that paper from the "Scrapbook rooms"? I can't remember the real name of that line, but it has such a beautiful look. Definitely one I want to scraplift, as is the Day One page. I often have 2 horizonal photos and can't think of a way to make them look nice. The floral paper behind Annabelle is so pretty. I really want her hairstyle...but I have no curls and no perm. My hairdresser is going to cut it that short though just before my surgery. Who knows what I will look like? Thanks for sharing your pages. I love them. I made 3 more of these grid/slice cards and 12 of the Sheetload. Sliceform Pop Up Birthday Card

Thank you nylene - the paper for the Ely page is old Basic Grey "Oh baby boy" I think it was called. I do love how their collections are so lightly themed that they are very usable on non-theme pages. lovely cards - those balloons are an amazing card and the sheetload ones are lovely and will certainly bring a smile

Linda that Basic Grey collection Oh! Baby Boy was one of my favourites, and I even bought the digital collection before they closed down, so I could continue to use it.

Happy Wednesday! Waving hi to you all. We just finished several days of rain. All is well. It was good to get out today in the nice cool air. Still gotta take my good walk. We had a quiet holiday and went for Japanese food for dinner. They had lots of those colorful and fancy sushi rolls. We tried the baked roll with chicken and it was pretty good. Like a California roll but with cooked chicken. We also got some veggie and shrimp tempura and I enjoyed that the best. linda- Did they get your Septic tank done? I don't think we have those here in So Cal but it sounds like a headache when it is not working. nylene- The flamingo painting is a small one I am doing from a tutorial. I hope to continue with it this week. But my big painting is of a full sized glamour girl like my collection. Hope you and your dh are having a better week. I can't believe how fast your dgds have grown up. Congrats of her engagement. Is the wedding this Spring or Summer? So exciting!!!

Did they get your Septic tank done? I don't think we have those here in So Cal but it sounds like a headache when it is not working. They pumped the tank but we're going to have to have the drain field replaced. (A septic tank is instead of public sewers - the waste flows into the tank and then liquid goes into the drainfield to slowly filter back into the water table and non-liquid accumulates in the tank where bacteria help break it down but it does need pumping periodically. Our drainfield is no longer accepting liquid so we need a new one)

Linda, ah, Basic Grey was what you used. I knew that paper looked familiar and I loved it. I miss some of those older companies. I am so sorry your septic is going to be so expensive. We have always lived where there were public sewers so I don't know much about septic tanks. I hope it can be fixed quickly. kellyr21, our DGD's wedding is in March. Angie is flying in and will drive us to southern Utah where it will be held. She may stay a few days with us, but needs to get back to her family. I am so glad I don't have to drive with my shoulder in bad shape. Oh, I am excited to see your big glamour girl when you get finished. How's the smaller flamingo painting going. Your cool walk sounds nice. We had snow again this week but it didn't stay. I look forward to Spring! grammadee and kitbop, I hope you are having a wonderful time. Those two places are my most favorite to visit. WDW is so diverse and fun and DC is so full of history. Be safe! AussieMeg, how is your weather right now? I caught some of your pages in the gallery and they are always so beautifully done. I love your pocket pages. I can't believe that you do both and are so prolific in your scrapping. You go girl! Yesterday I drove to a neighboring town to have my hair cut by my long-time friend. No one was home and I had left my phone on the charger. After waiting about 15 min I drove back home. I picked up my phone and realized that it was not Thursday, but only Wed!! I hope that was just a "Senior Moment" and not the beginning of Alzheimers. So I'm heading back there today to have the haircut. LOL

nylene -I'm glad that Angie will be able to drive you to the wedding! Good luck with the haircut today - it's so easy to mix up days when you're not off to a M-F job or school, ime Found my long-lost corner rounder today while doing some organising/decluttering of my Girl Scout shelves - not quite sure how it ended up there but it's been lost for years (well before our move) DD17 is home today - she doesn't seem to be sick just didn't get up for the bus OR to have DH drive her to school. Sigh.

Linda sounds like your DD just needs a nice mental health day at home today. Hopefully she can recharge her batteries after a restful break. I really thought this summer was going to be really hot and dry, with lots of bushfires, after what we saw in Europe and the US in your summer last year. But it's been quite mild. We've had a couple of weekends away at the beach in Jan and Feb. Wouldn't you know it, those weekends we had cool (for the beach) weather of low 20s (low 70s F) and the other weekends that we didn't go away, we had perfect beach weather of 38C (100F)! We're heading over to Perth in Western Australia on Monday, and they have had scorching weather. They have had multiple days of 43C (109F) in the last two weeks. (Oooops I didn't mean to bang on so much haha! Melburnians love talking about - in no particular order - coffee, football, and the weather!)

Good Friday morning, Pokeys! Today will be a long one: six hours of flying plus three hour drive and a two hour time change. If weather/roads are bad or dd doesn’t feel up to driving when we land in Edmonton we will stay in a hotel, but right now she prefers one long day to adding the extra transition.
See ya on the flip side!
