I have my own insights on this. I drew it out on my notebook but I have no more room in my phone to take pictures yet. Just wondering what your thoughts are  ETA: This seemed to help bring clarity to what I'm talking about: How about this: There's a black and a white. With a trinity there's also a grey. So if you put it like: 1.White 2. Grey 3. Black If I asked what words could be #2 and #3 if I put Opinion for #1, what could they be? 1. Opinion 2. 3. |

I'm avoiding using the word "opposite" because both of the words that I have answered with this are both the opposite of the word "opinion", but in different ways.
That's why I am using the words duality and polarity.
I'll give it a little more time to see if any thoughts are expressed and then I will explain.
If my explanation ends up bringing clarity to this post I will edit the OP.

Polarity to me means balance. |

dual=consisting of 2 parts
duel=combat between 2 individuals
polar=of or relating to the North or South Pole/the straight line joining the two points at which tangents from a fixed point touch a conic section

You make it so hard to engage in discussion. You're never actually asking what the words you choose mean. And then when questions arise from that, you assign "meaning" and "depth" to the responses which are really derived from bewilderment.
You muddy the waters and call it enlightenment. I don't get it.

I hate when people post shit that's just a bad as "vague-booking" thinking to be clever or coy to enlighten others.
Just say what you want to discuss and discuss it!
There is no polarity in duality --duality is finite, it's either black or its white. No wiggle room, an opinion of a person at the opposite end of the spectrum from another.
Polarity ceases to exist in this scenario as it encompasses all the little gray areas in between.
Duality is the division, vast differences, separation of options, while polarity is what brings opinions together, creating discussion and potential unity or understanding.

If your third word is fact's "other opposite", then it is opinion's synonym, and your triad would be white, white, black instead of white, grey, black. Truthiness is a word coined by Stephen Colbert, meaning "the quality of seeming or being felt to be true, even if not necessarily true" which is why I consider it a blending of opinion and truth in the same way that grey is a blending of white and black. |
