patin, grammadee, JaneB, nylene, kitbop, and AussieMeg i've left lots of love in the gallery for you Linda love your letter page about your dad; the patterned paper is a perfect backdrop and I love the contrasting turquoise color, and the eyelets! The boot camp letters are great too, love the Christmas page with its simple title on the fairly busy paper and on the red/white/blue page, I really like the wide blue mat ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) on the last letter, I really love the contrast of the red and those title letters are fab! I really love the design on the photo proofs page, especially the skinny banners at the bottom and the cute uniform embellishment! The anchors away page is lovely with the group photo and I love the stars! I love his official photo page; that photo is definitely the star of the show! I can’t believe how many photos you got on the graduation ceremony page!! The banners and simple title work very well and the page has a nice flow to it gale w your merry and bright card is super! Love the cute little colored critter and gorgeous greeting! I really love the beautiful snowflake background on the falala card, and the blue title backed with the lighter color. So pretty! Your flip-up card is just adorable. Love the awesome striped front and the merry Christmas words circling the photo; the inside with the cow is great! KelleeM great 8.5x11 page! I love love that background paper and the simple design of your spread; the bright letters are perfect! myboysnme 21 pages, you go girl! i have several circle punches i bought at hobby lobby in varying sizes. i have punched cardstock, patterned paper, paper with mixed media on it (so warped and also thicker in some spots), photos, project life cards, you name it. i've never had a bit of trouble with them. i bought them all when the paper studio brand was 50% off.
i have 2 large marvy punches that are hard as hell to punch, no matter what i'm punching. i literally put them on the floor and stand on them! so i would say steer clear of those lol!

AussieMeg i think the simplicity is perfect! it really lets those gorgeous photos shine and the small touches you've added in don't detract from that ![](http://i1168.photobucket.com/albums/r481/2peasrefugees/Smilies/2thumbsup.jpg.gif)

i mostly watch process videos, but also enjoy kit unboxing/LO share/kill a kit videos. i will very occasionally watch a tutorial of some sort, but i'm not much into techniques or DIY anything, so it's rare. i don't mind longer videos, but i much prefer voice-overs. and definitely no 10 minutes of fluttering hands while giving information about your personal life that i just don't care about! crinkling packaging drives me nuts, too, except for the sound puffy sticker backing makes. weird, i know, but i just love that sound ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png)

Chinagirl828, woodysbetty, justlisa7, grammadee, JaneB, patin, nylene there's love in the gallery for you all. gale w your hexagon card is lovely! I really like the muted reds with the brighter greens and the glittery greeting kiwigirl I think your kiwi summer page is fabulous! That messy background just looks hot, as I’m sure a kiwi summer must be and I love the bright colors you paired it with, and another fantastic mixed font title. And the little kiwi embellishment ![](http://i1168.photobucket.com/albums/r481/2peasrefugees/Smilies/love.jpg.gif)

hmm, i can't think of anything specific i always use or always do...once upon a time i had a teeny 3-hearts stamp and i would stamp that on every page. i often add a little heart at the end of my journaling now, but that's the only thing i can think of. i'm about an idiot...on 99.9% of my pages you'll find my handwriting!

i used to make premade pages all the time back in the day, somewhere around 2008-2009 i think. i still have some of them! most of them aren't my style at all now, mostly due to ugly product lol, but every once in awhile i'll pull one out and see what magic i can work on it. even now i sometimes get the urge to play with no pressure, so i'll make some pages.
generally i don't put on any title or embellishments, mine are strictly paper layers. HTH!

hmm, i don't have a set way i do things because sometimes i start with a photo, sometimes a paper or other product i want to use, sometimes with a title idea, or sometimes a specific challenge.
usually though, i get whatever that inspiration piece is, then find a photo (if that wasn't my starter) and go to it. i'm not matchy matchy with photos and papers; i can make anything work together, so i'm a lot more product-driven.
i usually cut down my background to 8.5x11, unless i'm using black/white/kraft cardstock, then mat my photo/s, then cut my other papers, then figure out my title and where it's going, then embellish too much, then splatter with some mist or add sequins, nuvos, etc.

craftykitten good luck with the wig fitting! i can understand wanting to look "normal" sometimes...but i'd totally be painting cool stuff on my head or getting a funky head tattoo and scrapping that shit lol. big hugs to you hon! thanks for the kind words everyone, the knees are feeling much better this morning, although it's raining again and i haven't stepped into the scrappy arena yet. but you're all sweet Chinagirl828 although i'm missing seeing lots of gorgeous LOs from you, if you're enjoying reading, go for it! i've never understood people who don't read and don't blame you one bit for passing up crappy internet for a good book ![](http://i1168.photobucket.com/albums/r481/2peasrefugees/Smilies/thumbup.jpg.gif)

i've been scrapping today but it's been a very sloooooooow process. my knees are aching due to the very wet weather we've been having the past several days and since i stand to scrap, i've had to take several breaks. i'm about to break out the icy hot!
it's only a little after 7pm here, so i'm hoping to get back to the trenches soon!

Linda hope your headache is better! I’ve got one today, too, bleh. I like the design of your first navy letter page and love the fun topper on the second. The Christmas page is lovely, such pretty paper, and I love how you pointed out your son with the little arrow. Your thank you card is just perfect for a veteran with that color scheme! your cards are beautiful; I love the blue and orange one; such a fun color scheme and I never use it because it makes me think of basketball lol…but it’s fantastic on your card! And I love the other 2, that SEI collection was one of my all-time favorites and it’s being put to good use on the cards ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg)

ok here is my final LO from my kit. i cut into the last 3 full sheets and i'm calling it killed! i have tons of stuff left but am a wee bit sick of looking at it all. i made a total of 11 pages with my kit and used up a bunch of stash, and i really enjoyed the process. so i'm totally good with that. i'm taking the 5 total points for posting photos and killing the kit, woohoo! that damn daylight savings time by sadkid, on Flickr

ok, here's my donna LO. not a deep or heartfelt thing, but a story important to me ![:)](http://i59.tinypic.com/211nd6h.jpg) ETA i just realized the protective coating for one of my acrylic stars fell on the page ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) it's on the little banner under the title. that damn daylight savings time by sadkid, on Flickr the journaling is on the back and it reads: Apparently back in the day my Grandpa Moore was good at picking birthdates of upcoming babies. So when my mother was pregnant with me and due in July, he named the 3rd as the day I’d be born. Fast forward to July, and lo and behold, my mother went into labor on July 3rd! I guess I was already used to doing things my way though, because I didn’t make my grand entrance until well after midnight, thereby making my birthdate July 4th. Afterwards, my dad and grandpa had a conversation where Grandpa stated I would have been born on the 3rd as he’d predicted, if only it weren’t for that damn daylight savings time! My dad loves this story and has told it to me more than once. I have to say, I love this story too!
