Unless you want tight curls, I don't think I would go with a 3/4" barrel. I would try 1" and see what you think. I would also make sure to read reviews on the iron. My DD has a 3/4 barrel so I'm going to give that a try first before I buy anything. I usually use a 3/4" barrel Hot Tool curling iron and let the curls cool.

When I was eating meat I loved them. I used to get sliced slab bacon at the deli and I would have them cut it super thin. I would bake it in the oven until it was just the right crispness. It would just melt in your mouth. And because it was so thin, I would put like 10 pieces on. With the ripples of the bacon, it really made a big pile on my sammy. Speaking of slab bacon, I would always get it that way for my corn chowder, too. I would have them cut it about 1/4" thick, then I would cube it. Soooo yummy! My mom's favorite sandwich was an LT, with tomatoes out of the garden.

My parents were born during the Great Depression, so they had few toys. My mom kept her toy sewing machine and mine, and I display them on my fireplace mantle. Just this week, a friend noticed and commented on them. I still have my Barbies. I also knew that my mom kept my last doll, Giggles. Years later, when I took the box home from my parents' house, I discovered that she saved Giggles, and my first, very worn first doll.

Many favorites, but one is Big and Carrie being on a ride in a horse-drawn carriage, but it has to be detoured to get Carrie to the hospital to help Miranda give birth to Brady. Another is Miranda and Steve's casual wedding.

May your kitty come to you quickly and may you two have a long, happy existence together, while you do your friend's bidding. This quote expressed my thoughts exactly. I've lived with cats all my life, but Bailey is my third Siamese. Dusty, a Siamese-mix from an "oops litter," taught me how wonderful Siamese cats are, Bree continued my education and now Bailey is my first boy cat ever.

As cindyupnorth said, it's been extremely cold in the north country and we got 11" of snow Thursday-Friday. The city snowplows and people have been shoveling out. I watched a movie on hulu, and a friend and I cooked a steak dinner. It was a pleasant, relaxing day.

Since yours is broken, I'd go with what is in stock. Hopefully you have a good selection to choose from and others can give you an idea of features to consider. If you need to order I'd really grill them about the realities of shipping and actually getting the item. My in-laws bought a fridge late June 2021, with delivery early July. Many delivery dates later and they are still waiting for their fridge. Thankfully their fridge still works as they were looking to get a larger one. Yes, I am worried about how long it will take to get it. There is one that I am looking at on the Home Depot website and it says delivery next Saturday. But I am not sure that is accurate. When we bought our washer and dryer there several years ago, that was the next available delivery option for the people doing the delivery, not when the product would be in stock. It took a long time to get it and they changed the date at the last minute several times. And that was pre-Covid. My experience with Home Depot is that it took 13 months with several delays to get my new fridge.

The little (usually felt) birds that Target sells for holidays put such a smile on my face. I used to look at them and think $5 for a bird? That’s nuts. Then last year at I picked them up as a quarantine pick me up and I’ve been hooked ever since. I have 2020 Christmas 2021 Valentine’s Day, Easter, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Winter 2022 Valentine’s Day I’m hoping to find older ones. People are nuts on eBay. So if you’re ever considering parting with yours, would you let me know please? Thank you 😁 ETA here's an example. These are last year's Easter birds If something brings you joy and makes you smile, go for it!! ![](https://www.picclickimg.com/d/l400/pict/224369335031_/Target-Easter-2021-Spritz-Bird-Set-Coopster-Patches.jpg)

I like monthly-only planners with no weekly pages. Plan Ahead brand See it Bigger monthly-only planners are my fave. Each day has a large space for writing and/or stickers. It can fit in a 3-ring binder if desired. It's 2 years in one planner. This is the 2022-2023 version sold at Walmart for $7. (The 2021-2022 version was prettier- it was light blue and had flowers on the cover). www.walmart.com/ip/See-It-Bigger-Monthly-Planner-January-2022-December-2023-11-x-8-5-Floral/872357480 I add some pockets made from scrapbook paper for the inside front and back covers and also an adhesive pen loop to make it more functional for me. This is one of the planners I use (and were prettier previously). I also have a pocket-size one for my purse.

Ugh. Feeling a bit down tonight. Luckily I'm going to bunco soon, but still. Christmas shopping just doesn't bring me the joy this year and instead brings sadness and dread. ((Hug)) I'm sorry.

From age 5-19, I was under the protection of an English Shepard, who was big for his bred. I remember his awkward stage. I LOVE the photo of Otto anxiously waiting for your son.

China and glassware in general are nearly financially worthless-- no one uses them anymore. I'm old school!! Me too!! My grandmother and mother loved dishes. For my first apartment, my mom set me up with eight setting of Corelle "Blue Morning" for everyday and eight settings of "good dishes." In the mid-2000s, I collected the gem colors of Fiestaware. Since silverware isn't appreciated anymore, I have four sets--my mother's silverplate "Queen Bess" and her 25th-anniversary set and my "Plantation" set for "good" and "Michelangelo" for everyday. I have passed a few of her sets of dishes on to university students and immigrants, but the set that she entertained with, I couldn't part with.

Oh my—if there ever was an argument to stay out of things, this is it! Yikes! I've made it a point to be active in my cousin's lives (both Uncle's kids). If the brother's wont talk to each other, fine but I'm not going to alienate my cousins over some BS I don't even know about. We're not close but at least communicate with each other. This is my situation exactly.

Purples, pinks and blues look good on me. I like black for my neutral. Orange and white don't look good on me.

My trees are sentimental. I have a white ceramic tree with blue "lights," which a co-worker made and gifted to me. Then a small, flocked white tree that my grandmother gave me. I also have small silver trees in my kitchen.

No--when I was a child, downtown had two great bakeries. We could watch the cake decorators create beautiful cakes, and I became fascinated. As an adult, I took a Wilton cake class, and I dabble in it as a hobby.
