I’m glad it was put out but what about the next time. I can’t imagine being able to sleep until they were gone knowing that some of them were willing to do something so extreme. What does anti vax have to do with an apartment building full of innocent people. Where ARE all the peas who were so mad about the destruction of property at the George Floyd demonstrations? They're all probably still waiting for any of you to give a shit when the same damn thing was happening back in 2020 when riots broke out during protests that you agreed with. We share with our adult daughters. One lives with us, one doesn't. Payments methods don't show most of the account number. It will show type (Visa, MC, etc.) but it is listed by name of owner, so that has never been an issue for us. That said, there is nothing preventing me from paying with someone else's payment method and sending the stuff to me, so you probably should trust whomever you share the account with. Sometimes it makes me put in the code on the card, but not always. My youngest listens to Amazon music all the time, and DH watches a lot of the shows, so it's worth it to us to keep it.
P.S. I just hit Drama Llama with this post! Woohoo!
From reading the link provided, I was under the impression that you could only use one method for payment per account, and paying each other back would be a PIA. I did not realize that you each can have your own method of payment, thank you. We currently have 5 methods of payment on our account! |

I have a good friend who is always super late. We plan to meet for dinner and they are always 30- minutes or more late.
It’s rude, disrespectful and shows that they don’t care about your time.
I’ve tried ordering without them being there, and that does phase them.
We’ve tried telling them an hour earlier but that doesn’t work either.

My DS has an online friendship with a Russian girl, and he asked her what she thought about the situation. At first she said she didn’t really know much, as she doesn’t follow politics and doesn’t watch much TV. DS told her about what was happening and how it is being viewed in Europe and "the West". She came back a few hours later having spoken to some friends and family. What she then told DS was that Ukraine had been threatening to invade Russia (!) and that Russia was a peaceful nation that did not like conflict, so DS had obviously got it wrong. It seems like brainwashing is an issue in other parts of the world too. 😉 Or that they are very closely monitored and are afraid to say exactly what is up! |

It’s no secret that I loathe Trump, but even I was shocked by that speech. I honestly believe that he’s losing it. I mean, he is already being investigated. And now, to call for bigger protests? This part? You don’t have to be a genius to understand exactly what he means: “ That promise of pardons might also be for crimes not yet committed. Trump called for "the biggest protest we have ever had" in New York City, Washington, and Atlanta if the prosecutors "do anything wrong or illegal." The specificity of the cities he mentioned suggests that the cases against him in New York City, Georgia, and Washington are weighing on his mind. "These prosecutors are vicious, horrible people. They're racists and they're very sick—they're mentally sick," he said. "They're going after me without any protection of my rights from the Supreme Court or most other courts. In reality, they're not after me, they're after you." I wonder about this part. What rights or protection does he think he has from the Supreme Court? Does he think he’s entitled to special protection because he appointed 3 justices? I know he thinks he bought them and they should be in his corner, but this seems above and beyond that. Unless he’s referring to the National archives releasing the records? Yes. He’s all about I’ll give you something and you owe me. If people go against him, he trashed them. I disagree - I think if you are supposed to start at 10am that’s what time you walk in the building. You need to be starting work at 10. Not walking in and taking the time to get to your desk, get situated and then head to a meeting. |

Costco had Fritos in the biggest size bag. I didn’t get any because I had already bought a “party size” bag at Target about a week and a half ago (and which is definitely NOT a party size unless it’s only a party of 2-3 people, LOL). DH says they taste better than regular corn chips. Frozen potato products of pretty much every variety have been in short supply here in virtually every store for at least the last 4-6 months. Hash browns are especially hard to find. I finally found Tater Tots at business Costco several months ago in a huge 8 lb bag after not finding them anywhere in forever. And yes, I bought two bags of them. It’s so weird the random assortment of stuff that I’m noticing is out of stock in various places. I’m going to Costco this week hopefully they have some! |
