Just in case anyone is wondering, shooter was a grad student in the professor's research group. So sad.

Just got a breaking news that a faculty member was shot and killed in a campus building. So very, very sad! Prayers for the family, students, and staff!

Whaaaaat? I love my Kleenex with lotion! Boo Hiss! I haven't used Kleenex in years and years. I find the Puffs Plus Lotion much better than the Kleenex. Give it a try.

Most brow products I've tried have resulted in too MUCH brow. I want to look like me... the natural me. Me too. I have thinning brows and light brows. What I use looks natural. I don't like the brows that you can tell have "make up" on them.

finsup - WOW the Moroccan tile is beautiful, and the new one is gorgeous too. **GypsyGirl** - love the quilt, very patriotic. disneypal - those colours are so restful. I hope you're enjoying working on it. Wow, couldn't have said it all better myself. I have been traveling and opened up the thread to these gorgeous creations that I missed. My jaw dropped. Everyone's pieces are amazing and SO beautiful. I am SO ready to get back to my art and my crafts! Y'all inspire me.

No I don't. I will see my dad on Monday. He should know, and I will ask. It's huge. And I too love those dresses snow4197 . Do you use an iPhone? If so you can take a photo of it and then go into “info” on the photo and there’s a plant look up option. Okay, so I did that, and I asked my dad. Both say "Catalpa" tree. Interesting because I have never seen one or heard of it.

I've used lots of more and less expensive options, and honestly, the ELF eyebrow pencil is as good as any of them IMO. It's very inexpensive. It's also one of the few that has a medium neutral brown. Most have a reddish brown or else something much too dark for me. I love the E.L.F. Wow Brow Gel.

I am so sorry! I know your pain well. We just put down our 16 1/2 year old a week ago. I did NOT want to make that decision. My prayer has been for some time that the Lord just take him in his sleep. He did not eat or drink for a full day "out of the blue." He had been fine, healthy, had a checkup 6 weeks prior, and my daughter had just seen him 3 days before. The next day I took him to the vet. My prayer was that the Lord make it extremely clear because I did NOT want to make the decision to put him down. I just couldn't. The vet immediately found a massive tumor in his throat that was not there a few weeks ago thus the reason he would not eat or drink. The decision was clear. He could not suffer like that because the 24 hours had been bad enough. I called all of the family, my daughter drove back up to our home (1 1/2 hours away), and we went together to say our goodbyes. The rest of the family was working and could not be there. The vet wept with us, and while hard, I know we did the right thing.
Your precious one was suffering terribly, and making that decision is never, ever easy. I am sure she would thank you for not letting her suffer anymore. Hugs to you!!! They truly are a huge part of the family!

I wanted to share this journal page with you. It's not done but this is a tracing of a leaf I picked up two days ago. It literally measures 8 1/2" at its widest point by 11" long (not including the stem). It's huge. I was just amazed by it. I didn't like my paint colors but I really just wanted to capture it's size.

Lidl is a German discount store, like Aldi. They are big, 12,000 stores across Europe and the US. Over 900 here in the UK. We only pick up bits and bobs there on a few occasions as I do the main shop at another supermarket but the bakery is close to the entrance and has nice Danish pastries. This. I never did all of my shopping there just some things. Their bakery is great but it wouldn't be a main store ever for me.

Wow! **GypsyGirl** so many beautiful quilts. What a treasure! jeremysgirl I can't wait to see what you do with your hand quilting. Yah cakediva!!! It turned out stunning! Aren't they do fun? Oh my word. I am actually just itching to start another one but I don't know who I will make it for yet. I need to wait because I like to choose the colors for the person. So, instead I am cross stitching right now. Going to stop at a "new to me" cross stitch store today. Can't wait!!! So, question is--which pattern will you do next and what colors? I have done Doo-Dad, Whatchamacallit, and Marnie's Garden. As I do them, I say that each is my favorite. LOL!

jeremysgirl, I love that you discovered you need to put your phone on do not disturb. What a great idea! I don't watch much TV but hubby and I do watch 1-2 shows after dinner together. I usually cross stitch or crochet at that time. I actually love that part of the day.

Thanks for sharing the link Patter . It is a really nice frame - my cross stitch projects are always the last thing I resort to doing simply because I find it kind of awkward. As she said in the video, a lot of us don't stitch with others so we don't compare notes on our techniques and tools. While I have spotted frames in stores, I really had no idea how they worked and they are often expensive so I never asked about them. I can see how this would make it more enjoyable to pull out my stitch projects. For sure. I have been watching a lot of Flosstube when I stitch. I have learned SO much even though I have been stitching since the 1970s. Eeek! Anyway, it truly has made a world of difference. The investment was worth it!

Oh wanted to add that we also have stamped concrete. I love that but the builder did the color AFTER the stamping, and it is wearing off and a pain. If I did it again, I would have the color mixed in with the concrete and then stamped.

We have one on a massive hill. One driveway is concrete, the other is paved when they widened that driveway going down a hill to our other garage. Engineers had to come in to make sure it was all done right because of the grade. It was done beautifully but 6 years later as the ground is settling, the pavers are falling. At this point I am ready to cover it all in blacktop.

My friend has cochlear implants. She does amazing with them. She has her good pair she wears out and her "least favorite pair" she wears around the house. It's really cool how they attached, etc. She loves to share. You are going to LOVE them. Praying it all goes well!
