Our financial advisor is all for them regardless of age. He said it can be as simple as "You leave with what you came into the marriage with. I leave with what I came into the marriage with, and the marital assets are split 50/50." He said that a judge can feel sorry for one party and decide to give one of them 90% of the marital assets and just 10% to the other party. This protects from that. BTW, I have been happily married for 32 years, dated for 3, and we do not have a prenup.

Scott (the officer who helped) is my nephew. Thank you to him for serving and for helping. I saw this and cried yesterday. I think of my two officers out on shift. My daughter mentioned to her sister--"look how quick he needed another dose of narcan followed by a third dose." So scary, and I am thankful the officer is okay!

I just got home from Mom and Dad's. Dad is taking the gummy version of ACV. He has been for a while but notices no difference but they taste good. LOL! He let me try a sample. I am not going to invest or ingest.

If your brows are done well, your eye ARE the focus, because your brows enhance them. Ungroomed brows usually detract from eyes. Yes, I agree your brows need to look nice. That's why I have my shaped with waxing every 3 weeks. I also pencil and use a gel daily. That is easy, cheap, and looks nice and natural. I think what I don't like about all of these new things is that they don't look natural. The photo you posted looked much better than other photos I have seen online (brushed up, dark, and shiny). If you find someone that you love and you like it, enjoy! I hope you will post a photo if you do it. Would love to see.

I have my brows waxed when I get my haircut every 3 weeks but that's it. I personally do not care for all of the brow trends. They are not me. I want my eyes to be the focus not my brows. That's just me, and I am fine with that.

The doctor called me. They are looking at the aortic valve and aortic root. Echo techs don't tell us anything here. I am sorry. One of my daughter's two mechanical valves is an aortic mechanical valve. Hopefully that's not what your son will need but my daughter is 5 years out and doing great.

Not me but dh and DD#1. Hubby's car was a mess on the front because it was a small vehicle, and the huge buck came up on the hood into the window. It was bad. DD's vehicle just had a tiny bit of damage as it was a large SUV, small doe, and they clipped each other. Really depends on many circumstances.

OK, I've committed myself - I've just ordered the yarn. This is what I want to make, from Ravelry: Sunburst granny squares blanketI want to make a bedspread though, not just a throw, so I hope I've got enough yarn - I couldn't find anywhere how much I would need for the size. I've gone for cream as the background rather than white, and the coloured yarn is Ice Yarns, Magic Light, which is the 100% acrylic equivalent of the wool blend in the project. The colours match the sunsets we've been enjoying lately, and our bedroom faces north-west so this will be perfect. I can't wait for it to arrive... Oh yes, I love that pattern. I have had it saved too. Can't wait to see it done. And PLurker, I love those!!! The rustic wood with lace is stunning.

I don't know about those issues specifically but my daughter had two mechanical valves (aortic and mitral) put in at age 21 along with a patch on her aorta. She will have to have another open heart surgery at some point. Hugs to you, and I will ask her when she gets up if any of her "zipper sisters" have the issues you describe.

rgibson I knew I recognized that yarn. I have crocheted with it, and I still have some left. It's great for baby blankets. Yours is beautiful! Thank you - I am thinking it might be nice for a grown up blanket too! Oh yes it does. I have made them for my girls. They love them.

Alrighty then, back to the purpose of this thread: I've sent some more teacher gifts so watch your mailboxes/porches/driveways/boxes, etc. My daughter got your package today. Thank you SO much. Those look super great for her students. She said that she sent you a thank you note through amazon.

monklady123 I have never seen that planner before. I love it but just wish you could add pages to it. I keep my 'to do' list in the back of my planner, and with the rings it's easy to add and remove. Really like what you use though! For me the blank right-side page is usually enough for to-do lists. For really busy months such as December, and for Christmas especially, I use some of the pages from the duplicate months (because of the academic format). I put Christmas washi tape on the edges of those pages so I can find them easily and I keep running Christmas to-do and gifts lists there. Oooh, that's a great idea. Man, I already have my 2022 calendar (mentioned above). I love it but I sure love yours too. I am a planner/calendar junkie I guess. LOL!

I have been a planner for over 30 years. I have always tried the "latest and greatest." But for the past 3 years now, I have used an A5 Webster's Pages weekly planner. I LOVE it! My daughter is an elementary special education teacher, and she has been using the same thing and loves it. The full kit is $55 but some are on sale for $20. That's how I bought mine. They used to have dated pages but now they are undated so that's the only drawback. Still a great, great planner. They have a personal size too but we love the A5. websterspages.com/color-crush-personal-planners/a5-planners

So beautiful, and such a lot of work! I would have loved a commentary saying what each page was about. All those maps and patterns. Is it intended for someone to add things into? To write in? I don't think I'd be able to mess it up by writing into it. Awe, thank you. I will probably re-do my video. I was at Mom and Dad's, and it was hard to film. I will let you know if I make another one. I will use this for art journal pages for quotes, scripture, journaling, etc.
