I'm gonna piggy back on your thread.... Does anyone know when the big one throws will go on sale for under $10? Last I looked they were at $16.99. They MIGHT go a little cheaper after Christmas, but the big sale is over. It's every November. Usually the week before BF, but everything was so crazy this year that who knows for the future! I work for a major deal website and several of our readers are offering codes on our website. It's Hip2Save, but I won't link here because I am not sure that's ok. Happy Shopping everyone!

Surely it's time for another round of "did anyone else see this?". Apparently last night she went to a concert. Not an outdoor concert. And she tells about how great it is by taking her mask off. It's one thing to be stupid, but she just elevates her stupidity by sharing it with everyone. I'm looking at Covid 19 risk map that was shared and from what I can tell it's far less risky for me to attend a concert in the area I live than her. But you know what I did last night? I stayed home because that's where people need to be now days. Stay the fuck home! I just can't get over how some people's lives have not changed one bit. It's like they live in an alter universe. But poor Jordan is worn out from moving from an 8000 sq ft house to a 16000 sq ft house. She needs a break! Have a heart! While her kids manage on their own w/o their parents in a cavernous house they just moved into. She lives in my state. I just had my oldest son (who has recovered from COVID) over to our instacare for a suspected blood clot. When we pulled into the parking lot it was full, but when we got into the clinic it was empty - literally one other person waiting in the waiting room. I enquired when we were checking in and the nurse said those people were all over in the COVID unit. It is a MESS here. That is VERY irresponsible of her. Doesn't she have babies? My daughter is a NICU nurse in one of the largest hospitals here and they've had a few babies with COVID. I can't believe she'd take that risk.

Sooooo! Friday is the only day the sale will be online. It's starts at 6AM (EST), so be quick. They'll probably restock through the day (they have in the past), but to avoid not getting the scents you want, be there early! You cannot use any other code online, so if you really want to use your coupons, you've got to go in the store. Friday, Saturday and Sunday are all in store days, but it will be a mad house! You *might* be able to use your coupons from the mailer, but you can only stack coupons that come from the same mailer. I say might because some stores have been known to not let people use coupons with the Candle Day offers. ~ Sincerly, your friendly deal website worker

Does anyone know if you can pair this sale with one of the 20% coupons they mailed out? Possibly in store. I say POSSIBLY because some stores don't honor them. I work for a large deal website and every year we have several readers say that their store wouldn't take their coupons. They will also stack, but they have to be all from the same mailer

This thread must have given off good hawk vibes — we had a Sharp-shinned Hawk in our front yard today. Sharpies aren’t usually in neighborhoods - that’s more of a Cooper’s thing - and we’ve never seen one in our neighborhood before. It was a nice treat. We have a Red Tailed Hawk and a Cooper's Hawk in our neighborhood. I tease my Sister-in-law that she needs to come and get her Hawks because they keep bothering the birds who try to eat at our feeders. You might enjoy this video of the birds that live at their facility --->> hawkwatch.org/learn/hwi-birds ETA - I LOVE Hawks and I know they have to eat too.

I am SO not good at adding pics here, so here's my buddy, Calurus. He is a spokesbird for Hawkwatch International imgur.com/a/tSR7g2zMy sister-in-law is the executive director of HawkWatch International, so raptors are a big part of our lives. Especially Owls, Hawks and Eagles. They are AMAZING birds.

We keep seeing them come up online at Costco, but they sell out FAST! RiteAid, Walmart and Joann carry a single bomb from Frankford (only $2 at Walmart, more expensive at Joann and RiteAid). Target has two different packages, a single and a three pack. They all sell out pretty quick, but I just got one tonight at Joann. OH and you can buy the mold on Amazon and make them yourself

I signed up in the spring when it was Grocery Unlimited and in September it automatically switched to Walmart +. I also use it for Scan & Go while in the store. It does work a little different than Sam's, but I still think it's worth it. The app is a little buggy - It's logged me out when I have had a few things already in my cart and my husband had alcohol on Saturday and that screwed up the whole system, but all in all, I think it's great! You can also get discounts on gas, but the eligible stations aren't very close to me. OH ALSO - Check your app! I had a free express delivery on Saturday

I work for a major deal website. Here's what we know so far --->> Monday, November 23 through Wednesday, November 25: Black Friday deals will be in stores only. Thursday, November 26 (Thanksgiving): Black Friday Deals will be online only. Friday, November 27: Black Friday deals will be both in stores and online. Candle day is usually the first Saturday in December, but it's hard to say with COVID what's going to happen. The cheapest we see handsoap is during the semi-annual sale - If I remember correctly, the lowest we've seen is $1.87 each - it was during the semi-annual sale after Christmas last year. There was also a day during the same sale that they had three wick candles even CHEAPER than candle day, so you might even find better deals then. It's late and I am probably rambling, but I'll try and remember to post here when those things are cheap

scrapnnana and anyone else who thinks melanoma runs in the family: There is a genetic mutation linked with familial cases of melanoma. A mutation in the p16K gene gives a person a 50 times the normal risk of melanoma by age 50! Obviously, the risk level continues after 50 as well. This mutation is also associated with a higher risk of pancreatic cancer. If anyone suspects they are from a family like this, PLEASE get genetic counseling and look into this test. Ideally, family members who have had melanoma would be tested first. The life you save may be your own! I was just searching for any Peas who have had Melanoma and found this thread. I actually was diagnosed with p16 (Melanoma/Pancreatic Cancer Syndrome) back in 2016. I get twice yearly skin checks and Pancreatic screenings yearly. I have had 10+ atypical moles, but just had one come back as severely atypical. I will be going in July for a wide excision, so was searching to see if anyone else had gone through this. I just wanted to reply to this thread and say GET GENETIC TESTING DONE! It could save your life. I met with genetics counselors at our largest teaching hospital and have been under their care as well as my dermatologist. I also have the MUTHY colon cancer gene as well, but the risk isn't nearly as high as with p16. I was tested using the MyRisk test from Myriad genetics and would highly recommend it! * I also should add - I was only tested because my aunt had ovarian and breast cancer and I was having a hysterectomy. That was the only family cancer history I have, so it was a total shock. (My maternal grandfather had melanoma, but that was back in the 30s) I am so glad I had it done!

To be fair, it's pretty isolated where that cabin is. They actually have helicopter pads for Lifeflight at Sunridge (which is a private property community right by there) and there is no cell coverage at all. We saw an accident there on one of the trails by the road her cabin in on and the witnesses had to drive for miles to get service. There aren't busses like they use in Huntsville, because it's more of a summer home community. I am not in any, way shape or form defending her, but it IS pretty remote. I would NO WAY, NO HOW take those babies to that cabin at that age for that reason alone. I worry taking my kid with asthma up there in the summer because of how long it would take to get treatment. I do also agree that the wording WAS really dramatic ... I hope that is clear! UGH. I don’t have cell service at my house, either, and I live (full-time) in a cabin community. Again, it’s something that many, many people in rural areas deal with. We don’t all have 5 grocery stores within a 5 block radius and a hospital 5 minutes away. It doesn’t mean it’s remote, it just means it’s not urban. Which is all the more reason people should stay TF home. AMEN! I wish I could say more about the situation, but I'll just say I agree with you

I just looked at her cabin on Insta. It's in Monte Cristo, which is at least 45 minutes from Ogden. We ride our side by sides up there. Wow. Small world. Yeah? I didn’t look too closely, just saw that the address was in Huntsville, but I see now it’s located between Huntsville and Monte Cristo. I still wouldn’t call that the middle of nowhere, though... I mean, they bus those kids to Ogden for school, don’t they? (Unless it’s changed in the last few years.) Yeah, it’s not conveniently located 5 minutes from a hospital. Most of us that live rurally aren’t. But don’t say you’re “isolated in the middle of nowhere” just to up the drama and garner sympathy and hits. To be fair, it's pretty isolated where that cabin is. Her “cabin” isn’t exactly in the middle of nowhere. It’s in Huntsville, which is about 20 minutes from Ogden, which has a population of 85K. In fact, my cousin lives there, and her husband is an ER doctor at the hospital in Ogden. So, yeah, not as quick of medical help as her home in Draper, but she’s not without it if she needs it. My house, for example, is 20 minutes away from an ambulance, and 40 minutes away from a hospital. When we had a medical emergency, we hopped in the car and drove, because waiting was a risk we didn’t want to take. Also, the property was listed for $1.1 million when they purchased it. Whether she paid that or not, a million dollar second home is hardly an endorsement of her “cheap or free” lifestyle. Refugeepea mentioned it earlier, but I live in the county in Utah that has asked people not to come to their second homes. People are assholes, and aren’t listening. That cabin is in Hunstville? That's not far from me. I thought it was closer to Heber City? It's still a quite drive down either canyon to the hospital. I know this because my husband has had a couple of bike crashes up that way ... ETA - I just looked at her cabin on Insta. It's in Monte Cristo, which is at least 45 minutes from Ogden. We ride our side by sides up there. Wow. Small world.

Just a heads up. You can only use one code on B&BW's site, so you won't be able to combine the two - the code for the candles is CANDLECRAZE. You MIGHT be able to use your mailer coupons in store, but it's at the stores discretion if you can. We're all bummed that they're up in price. This isn't even the best price of the year! Darn. Didn't realize the candle sale required a code. It's frustrating!!! Not sure I want to run to B&BW tomorrow. It will be CRAZY!!!

I follow a couple of Bath and Body FB groups. OMG, I think less planning went into storming the beaches at Normandy than some people are putting into this sale. That said, here are a few things I’ve picked up, LOL. Each store is opening at different times. Go to the BBW website and check your store for their open time. If you are a member of their rewards program (which is not available in all areas) you can start shopping online at 10 Eastern tonight. However, you have to use a special coupon code to get the sale, and I think that prevents you from stacking other coupons/sales, but I’m not positive. The 15 candle limit is online. Nothing stops you from doing multiple orders though. Of course, that means an additional $5.99 shipping fee. I am stunned at what I see in the groups; some people buy hundreds of candles at this sale! But I guess we all have our “thing”. Don’t come to my house and count pens and notebooks. People are SO passionate about this sale, but now it's not even the lowest price they go. Such a bummer!

It looks like the 20% off coupon will overlap by a few hours! Use code SANTA at checkout. "20% off any purchase on December 3, 2019 at 6:00 AM ET to December 7, 2019 at 5:59 AM ET" Just a heads up. You can only use one code on B&BW's site, so you won't be able to combine the two - the code for the candles is CANDLECRAZE.
