That is a great price! My TM didn’t have any yesterday but I’ve seen haul videos with them. Why are they a piece of crap stinkerbelle ? Dh has said he’ll buy me one for Christmas but I haven’t said yes yet. i don't know that they really are a piece of crap, but i do know they haven't gotten stellar reviews. they're not all-metal, for one. but i keep seeing them over and over in youtube vids and i have terrible fomo! They are not something that I would type on everyday .. BUT I love mine .. it does what I need it to do .. type on journal cards when needed and look cute .. WIN WIN

I wanted to order that wave die that had been posted earlier this week. I went to the site where I am sure it originated. It was 72 dollars. Nope. I'll spend a fair amount on product, but that was way too much for a die set (3 dies) to make one card. Found it on AliExpress for $12 with shipping. I am all about buying American and supporting my LSS. This time I just couldn't do it. I wish that certain companies didn't have such a huge mark up. I would have purchased it for $36, but not $72. Can you please post the link

This just makes so angry .. Jeremy's (my son) husband's aunt (Lynn MacLaren) was in the Austrailian Parliment .. fought hard for marriage equality and eventually came back to the states to marry her long time partner Sarah. Unfortuately Sarah lost her battle with cancer recently. Love how he is asking for privacy .. what a dick Cheri

I grew up in Lafayette La and we never had a Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday) dinner, We were usually still a little drunk from spending the day at the parades 🤣 but traditional Marci Gras food for us was beer and boudin .. lol Cheri There you go, Cheri!Gettin' drunk and eatin boudin on Johnson Street. How come I never saw there!?!? LOLThat where we hung out to watch parades! Probably did . but refer to the above mentioned beer and boudin

OMG .. thank all of you for posting here .. I can feel each one of the hugs and well wishes ..
The Peas were a huge part of that night and I will never forget the love our family felt from my "imaginary" friends during that awful night and the following days
Today is our 12th birthday without Kaitlyn .. and I wish I could say it was easier .. it is not .. but it is different .. not so raw .. just sad ..
Our family has chosen to live our lives filled with joy .. because we know how fast all things can change .. this does not mean we are not sad .. that is an underlying feeling everyday .. but we find joy and happiness in each and every day ..
THIS thread is a huge part of my happiness today ..
Love to all of you Cheri

The perfect crop swag bag has new, NOT not old product. Honestly, I end up giving away my swag bags most of the time. I've been scrapping for years and have plenty of product. What I would really appreciate is comfort and service. I would just love it if someone would provide ice, comfortable chairs - even a rental fee that went to the cause would be wonderful, CLEAN, restrooms, soft tissue, very little microphone time (It's almost impossible to hear anyway), a clear itinerary, wifi that actually works for the size of the event, healthy food/snack options, and space between rows of tables - getting bumped every time someone walks by is not cool. I've been to a lot of crops. If I went to a crop that provided these things, I would be a happy scrapper - no swag necessary. The hosts could even provide a note that said, "In lieu of swag bags, we decided to make your crop experience as comfortable as possible. Here is what we have done for you." I would love it. We do all of that already .. we provide unlimited drinks (water, soda, tea and coffee), unlimited snack (sweet and salty). Our venue is awesome and lots of room. This is our fundraiser for our daughter's foundation and without the croppers we could not provide the scholarships. We do our best to spoil everyone that comes I have gotten some awesome ideas and would love to hear more !! Cheri

small notebook and or post-its mints I am not familiar with your cause, but is there some little token that will remind participants about the cause that you can include? I am not a fan of scrappy supplies because you will not make everyone happy. Here is our website .. www.kaitlynspromise.comwe use the money raised at the crop to award scholarships in her name to,the area high schools we do try to add something with our logo to the bag .. cheri

Thanks so much for these .. please keep the ideas coming ..
we have been doing this for 11 years ..and THIS part always stumps me .. I hate giving the same thing each year, refuse to give crap and have to fill 200 -240 bags .. AND this is our fundraiser for Kaitlyn’s Promise so we are ona tight budget 😳
I never thought to include snacks as we provide unlimited candy and snacks for the weekend, but I have been looking at ‘candy from the decade’ to include each day ...

I am trying to come up with ideas for the swag bag for Kaitlyn's Crop .. and I am drawing a blank .. so with that being said please fill in the blank
The perfect crop swag bag has _____________________________ but NOT this _________________________________________
Go wild .. the theme this year is Scrappin' Through the Decades .. we do a little something each day instead of one big one at check in and it does NOT have to be scrap related ..
Thanks Cheri

I'm struggling with feeling guilty because I sometimes think it would be a relief if she was gone. I hate that I think that, but she has caused so many problems (too many to type out) and been so nasty to all of us who have tried to help her. Everything involving her is a drama. She seems to make every family event into one too. I've spent so much time worrying about her it's like it all used up. If you've been in this situation have you had similar thoughts? If so, how do you get past feeling like a shitty person for wanting your own life to be easier? I've really been struggling with this. I feel terrible for even thinking it, though I do know its only a matter of time since she has other health issues. Yes .. my 16 year old daughter .. who lost her battle with addiction 12 years ago .. and what you are feeling is VERY normal .. their addiction brings chaos all around them and with them. I can promise you that most times addiction is NOT the path they want to take and feel horrible for what it is doing to those who love them, even though it does not seem that way ever. NOW with that being said .. I don't think enabling them is they way to deal with it either .. you have to protect yourself and your family .. your dad needs to let her hit bottom and her death may be that rock bottom. harsh truth but that is what addiction is HARSH .. UGLY ... HEARTBREAKING .. and it effects all people who love the addict .. that is why I suggest Al Anon .. it really does help . and it gives you skills on how to deal with addict and it makes you face the part that you play and how to get out of the chaotic cycle So with all of that .. when I think about Kaitlyn I miss her with every thing that I am .. and I would do ANYTHING to have her back ..and while I LOVE her so very much it is not the addict Kaitlyn I want back .. her I am at peace as to where she is .. I want sober Kaitlyn back because SHE is who I miss .. I pray that your niece is strong enough to get the help she needs to get sober, that your family can heal from all of this and that you find peace with your feelings .. because they are very real and VERY normal .. Kaitlyn's Promise - - this is the website we create after she died .. Cheri
