It's funny you posted this question. I just finished doing12 pages of a weekend trip last Mother's Day to our cabin. I was feeling it was a little excessive but there was a lot of photos I wanted to use for many different activities. I agree with Kath, no rules or guilt in my scrapbooking!!!!

I moved some furniture around (organizing..lol) and cleaned up..... I had jury duty yesterday and got out early.. went home instead of work.. got my 'chores' done for the weekend so I would have no excuse to scrapbook tonight and hopefully the weekend. Now I am ready for 5:00 which I just realized is in 5 MINUTES... Edited to add.. since no one else has posted.. I got home.. messed around but forced my butt upstairs and scrapped. One layout.. lol I used Wild Asparagus paper!! Remember that paper!! AND K&Co. metal corner things.. can't think of the names.. probably some of the oldest stuff I have... at least 15 years... lol I loved Wild Asparagus!! I hoarded some of theit paper forever! I think I may still have some.

I go to a 3-4 day crop a few times a year. It is held at a retreat center. All meals are provided. We have so much fun and seriously, it’s like a mini vacation! My CM lady works with the owner/manager as far as dates offered, meals, etc. She has some basic supplies available and also brings her tools or us to use. We go Friday through Sunday at 4:00. The fourth day comes in if Monday is a holiday. If the weather is nice we eat outside. There’s a lake and path to walk around. We eat, talk, laugh and crop...no cooking or cleaning, the weekend is for us! That sounds perfect! So jealous!!

My March goals are:
-continue working on family album, it's so nice getting a little caught up on those photos (still working on 2016) so have a lot to do yet.. -make a half birthday card for my DD (I know it's crazy I do this)... -make 1 Easter card -AND hopefully print some photos (I don't know why this is so hard for me to do... way behind with this.

I did the 15 minutes of picking up the house last year. It's still a daily practice I try to implement (through my bujo habit tracker). This month my goal is 15+ minutes of yoga daily. Last night I went to an hour long hot yoga class, but I will do youtube videos (maybe the yoga with Adrienne series Ali did) for most of the days because I don't have the time to go to the studio that often (and the classes don't always work with my schedule, especially for the instructors I like). I don't think I'm going to get any yoga done today though, work is crazy right now--been working since 7:30 (I am currently eating lunch and taking a little breather) and will probably be here until after 5 today. Then I have plans to go to dinner and a movie with my husband and some friends. So by the time I get home it'll probably be time to get into bed. Oh well, I know I won't be able to fit it in every day. I try to do at least 20-30 minutes of yoga everyday also! I go to the yoga studio about twice a week otherwise do it at home. It truly makes such a difference in my day! Absolutely love it.

I bought the altenew happy birthday stamp set. Oh my 18 different fonts and sizes of separate happy and birthday. I'm in love. Thanks for mentioning this, I've got to go check it out. I'm always looking for Happy Birthday in different fonts. The Frixion pens - they are awesome. I use them for work and for my bullet journal. I do agree that they run out of ink fairly quickly, though. Yesterday I visited a new LSS store that I literally drive by twice a week and never knew it was there. It opened last June. I actually found out about it on here in the LSS in your area thread! How exciting! I haven't had the thrill of discovering a new scrapbook store in so many years. I'm jealous! Did they have good stuff? They had a lot of amazing papers and embellishments! Lots of really new products!

My scrappy randomness is the weirdest but most wonderful thing ever! Yesterday I visited a new LSS store that I literally drive by twice a week and never knew it was there. It opened last June. I actually found out about it on here in the LSS in your area thread! After my purchases yesterday, I'm not sure if this is going to be a good thing or not...lol.

This challenge was perfect for me as I needed to make 9 thank you cards for those who helped out with my surprise party. I basically just copied a thank you card I had done before but just changed the colors to match the color theme of my party, peach and aqua blue!!

A little late, but better late than never. Mother's Day with my brother, my sisters, me, and Mom. Not that you can tell with the faces hiding behind the paper scraps, sigh. grammadee , I love your big pink heart. @elaynef , that's such a great photo. Bet his kids cracked up when they saw it! scrapincin , it's a very sweet card - the tiny hearts make me think of those candies with the messages gramma , such a cute couple of pages. Did you make the cheer embellishments? or were you just super lucky in finding those in the school colors? jeremysgirl , for such a simple idea, it has so much impact! I think I might have to lift your lift of grammadee's lift of Simple Stories. MDscrapaholic , congratulations on the new little guy! Beautiful card DawnMcD , there's so much I like about your page, but (after the photo) I think I like the little folded hearts the best! stinkerbelle , what a beautiful photo - that's a treasure right there! nylene , the greens you chose are so pretty with the photos. What a good looking bunch they are. kiwigirl , I love the idea of using the tags that way. And the black background makes the colors stand out so brilliantly mikklynn , so cute! patin , congratulations on your new little guy too! christinec68, you both look so cool in your shades - and even cooler with the black and white photo. Thanks for the inspiration linda Very pretty!! Mother's Day is my favorite holiday!

Here's my LO. I struggled and struggled and ended up just saying bollocks to it and sticking it down. This is one of my go-to LO's, a load of tags across the middle of the page. I did the same thing on day 4's monochrome challenge too. It's one way to use up some of those ephemera/die cuts I am loving the black background at the moment, it really does make some colours pop more than white. ADORABLE!!!

I finished a monochromatic layout last night. It was a photo of my DD and her boyfriend riding their new bikes last summer. I used all black and white to match their bikes. I did add a little mint green for a pop. Sorrry... Great challenge! I also love doing monochromatic pages.
