I finished Amy Snow by Tracy Rees. I loved this book - right up until the end. It was so anti-climatic and left me underwhelmed. For this reason I'm giving it a 3.5. Same here! I enjoyed it all the way through and the last chapter was....a bit of a let down. Nothing earth shattering- at first it seemed like an attempt at redemption- then...not really.

My only issue with hard sided is not having pockets/zippered sections on the outside. My Samsonite have held up really well- got them on sale at Kohls. 360 wheels really help. Marshalls/TJ Maxx usually has a good luggage selection. My niece had success finding luggage at Macys--pricing normally high- but the sales bring them down to a good price.

I get them in the winter and with the heat on...a small amount of bacitracin on a q tip swabbed in each nostril helps me. I would be concerned about the number and frequency of the nosebleeds and agree an ENT may be the best bet. Good luck!

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid It's a fictional book probably inspired by Liz Taylor or another old Hollywood actress. I finished listening to this earlier in the week. It held my interest and there were several twists that I did not see coming. Very much enjoyed it!

LOOKS FABULOUS! I use L'Oréal Excellence in a similar color... have been curious to try Madison Reed- you have inspired me. Red does fade quickly so I never mind if my hair is a little darker until a few shampoos.

My company was recently sold and my position as a vice president of nursing services was not retained- so I am looking for a new positon. It is not easy!!! I have gone to an employment center to help with my search. I was told to only have the last 15 years on the resume (my last job was 15 years!), tailor the resume for employer--ie-- if you are not looking for management positions, keep your management skills to a minimum and address what they put in the ad/job description. They did not mention length- but I was told to just list my previous employers by name without dates- under heading of previous experience-- and not to list the individual job responsibilities. She said over 15 years ago- most employers are not interested-they want the recent job info. Many companies use an online application and it transfers the resume into the application. References have been requested on many of the applications. I am going to a workshop next Monday to take a 2 hour training on resumes and cover letters. I think the length depends on the type of job... as someone who interviewed nurses for mot of my career...I did not want 4-5 pages... I wanted recent and pertinent information...4-5 pages was too much but I am sure in other fields- it may take that much to convey a position. I have seen online job postings that I had to keep scrolling to read the entire posting-- job description, qualifications....so I think they may be open to longer, detailed resumes. Mot communities have a career place to help-free of charge. Unemployment required me to attend a group seminar and an individual meeting but I am grateful for their help and have signed up for additional workshops.

I have not read all the comments- my advice- in private apologize to her and tell her it gets confusing for you when there is more than 1 conversation going on at the same time and ask her if this happens again- how can you let her know? You are not going to break her habit- but you may smooth things over with an apology about the sushing and looking for a solution together.

Steph-sounds like you had a great nite and made the nite better for others! Your Pap is amazing- the video worked! Last night while you were dancing and kazoo-ing, I finished my Christmas cards for the 2peasrefugees--the last 31 are going into the mail today! Up early to go out for breakfast with my BFF. The US postal service delivered a package to my honey in California early- I expected him to get it Monday but he received it yesterday and was very excited to start Christmas early! Way to go USPS!!! All in all- a very good weekend!

I enjoy it for the first 5-8 gifts then I get sick of it! A few things have impacted my feelings about wrapping: 1. when 3 of nieces were each seniors in high school- a big fundraiser for the class was gift wrapping at the mall....and parents had to volunteer to wrap. Being the nice sister and aunt, I signed up for lots of shifts! It was particularly challenging the year 1 niece was class president--we covered lots of shifts nobody else wanted! Most people were great and when they found out it was to benefit a class, they often paid more than prices posted so it was a great fundraiser! but oh my aching back and feet! 2. the year my sister and her husband were in the middle of construction on their home (they added a second story, new kitchen, bath-the works! ..for 6 months 5 people lived with me!) we wrapped the gifts on a saw horse in the unheated home. Remember- I live in Massachusetts!December, Massachusetts, no heat, frozen fingers...I cried for gift bags...lol! Yup- same family as the mall gift wrapping! I love my baby sister and her daughters!!

I must be the lone one that loves it. I like the sentiments. I immediately thought Disney scrapbook pages or cards. I can't wait to get mine Don't feel alone...I like it too! I see myself making Valentine cards with it as well as kids birthday cards. The ink colors look amazing! I also ordered 2 of the stamp set add ons. I am behind using the kits for the past few months but I will have some time off in January and look forward to playing with several of the recent kits...would be great to even start making cards for NEXT Christmas-- lol! I still have 37 to make for this year!

I'm currently listening to The Secrets She Keeps and it is good. I thought this was really good as well, had me on the edge of my seat at the end. I'm currently listening to another of his books "Life or Death" and am enjoying that as well. Also liked The Secrets She Keeps... interesting characters and kept me very interested. I like when I cannot predict a good portion of the story!

I listened to IQ by Joe Ide and the 2nd book with the same characters- Righteous. Different books for me- I think I discovered the first book as an audible deal of the day and purchased the next book right away. Young 'detective' and his sidekick and their troubled lives and adventures in a rough neighborhood. I was surprised how much I liked both books!

If I recall correctly, last year I sent 127 cards , or maybe it was 117...anyhow....a kind pea formatted the address list for printing and then shared it with those who asked. Is there anyone who might be willing to do that again? I have absolutely no idea how to do it otherwise I'd do it myself. Addressing the envelopes is the only "bad" part of the whole shebang IMO. The year before I addressed 80-something envelopes for the swap and my hand was SORE! Thanks for any help you can offer! We will be sending out a PDF and a mailing label format of all address so those that wish to print labels can easily do that. awesome- sorry I missed this before I posted!
