I am with Annabella- and while pudgy-I do not think my weight is easily guessed so I do not think it would help the search for me! And I am guessing if I am missing against my will- my weight is going to change....I do not think my 'captor' is going to make the same food choices/indulgences I make for myself. Hopefully none of us will ever have to worry about this- and if my face is somehow not identifiable, not sure if the roll around my belly (front bum as my sister calls it!)or my underarm wings would be enough to say yup- that is Diane!
When I saw the title of the post- I thought this was going to be about peas I would miss! And yes Annabella- I would miss you--- you make me think and I love your fashion sense!

Just a heads up thanks to my school and work schedule I haven't addressed a single card yet. It's very likely my cards will be the ones you get 3 days before Christmas. Sorry. I will start getting them out after my finals on the 12th. please do not stress about it---I love getting cards even after the holiday! Hope school and work slow down for you! I am not done making my cards so I am sure my US ones will go out around the same time as yours...I have plans to get my international cards out next week. This is fun and joyful---don't pressure yourself!

I just sent a few more emails with the labels to those who have requested them-- so if you did not get it-please let me know and I will re-send the files. I am glad this is helpful for some people- I do recall getting many cards last year with gorgeous lettering on the envelopes- and I was in awe of the talent! I have about 30 cards made...I am so excited to be creating them!

hi all- I made labels using Avery labels 18160 but 8160 and 5160 also work. They are 1" by 2 5/8"; 30 to a sheet, a standard address label. If you would like the files- send me your email in the private message and I will send them to you. Now I just have to hunker down and make my cards! LOL

I haven't paper crafted in probably 10 years (sent out store bought cards for the swap last year) and am thoroughly enjoying the process! I'm probably about 2/3rds done BUT addressing the cards was such a chore last year. I've never learned how to make labels on my computer (I know, I know....). Does anyone have the addresses formatted for labels? And if so, would you be willing to share? My hands would forever be in your debt! Thank you Lauren, I plan on making labels. I will not have time to do it until this weekend. I will post a message when it is ready- and will email it to anyone who wants it; send me your email via private message. I typically set it up for avery mailing labels- I will include that info and/or the label size and I will remove the pea names. I love making the cards but the addressing....not my favorite thing to do!

Lauren- thanks for posting your coloring-- beautiful and inspiring!!! I don't use coloring books but I color several times a week with my stamps and copics. Sometimes the images make it onto cards- sometimes they just sit in a basket; colored and waiting for more mojo! I find coloring so very relaxing but I like smaller images-I like the feeling of completing something in one sitting! Maybe a coloring book would encourage me to just totally enjoy the process. I like coloring with copics and have not found any books with thick enough paper. Can anyone suggest a few I can try? I like colored pencils but I am more proficient with the markers! Great thread; love your work too, Lesserknownpea!

Thanks everyone! Annabella- you rock-- love the Nina jewel. I like the option of changing into the bone to dance. I added a pix of the shoes in the original post. I agree about the nude not attracting focus on my feet-- I have VERY pale legs so I thought it would be a less distracting look and a cleaner line to wear the bone. I am going to buy a pair of navy-- or even silver. My jewelry is silver. The blue works well with the bridal party and navy was the bride's first color choice for me- but she loves the brown dress too! I think I am convinced on the navy dress. Again- thanks for all of the ideas and advice!! I will try to remember to post pictures of the wedding!!

OK- So I wish I had Annabella by my side when shopping. My niece is getting married Oct 1- and I got ordained so I could perform the ceremony! They were adorable when they asked me...will you marry us?
I am down to 2 dresses- both just above the knee (I purchased both!). Brown or navy. Most votes are for the navy and I am good with that. My issue is shoes. I have a pretty pair of bone shoes (Bandolino) with a t strap of bugle beads in a silver that is not too blingy. Wore them once- super comfortable. I have knee arthritis so a super high heel is out of the question- these are nice wedge. I am 57 and pudgy and while I think I am still 32.... I also want to look age appropriate (whatever that means) and I want to be able to dance all nite!
Bottom line- everyone says I cannot wear bone with navy. Boohoo!
Hard to find dressy navy shoes without a spike heel. Any ideas where to purchase some shoes? Or can I wear the bone with navy? They are prefect with the brown dress...but that is truly my back up. The navy pix looks blah but it fits nicely and the sleeve hangs better than the picture. I like the neckline on the navy better. thanks so much for your help!!!!

I can help with that if you want. I took the list from last year and created labels. This can be done in word as well- there is a label temple on a new word document- based on the size of the labels. Your going to have to show me how to do this. Please I am sure there are easier or better ways- but this way works for me! Open a new word document. Click on the tab at the top titled mailing Click on labels (it should be next to envelopes) A box will open and towards the bottom of the box-there is an option tab. This is where you choose the name or number of the label you are going to use- there are a lot of choices! The label # should be on the package and often it will give an Avery label equivalent. Choose your label then choose new document-- a nice grid will show on your screen with the layout of the page of labels. I cut and pasted last year's list into the document and printed the labels.... for some reason, I could hand make every card but the thought of writing all the names and addresses on the envelopes put me over the edge!! Hope this helps!

Hate to ask....but is there anyway when we sign up to make the list into an excel spreadsheet?? I find it easier to use and you can also print labels! Just a thought. I'll look into that.
