... I wish graduation lines could get more creative in general. ... I am hoarding the graduation stuff... although this one is pretty boring and nothing really stands out. ... ... the graduation line is meh. ... I wish manufacturers were a little more creative with graduation lines, too ... Graduation seems to be one of the industry's themes on a loop that has the same color palette, sentiments, etc. every year. It shares a black/white/gold color palette, so it should coordinate, with recently released NYE mini collections.

For over a decade, I've used two white stackable Pottery Barn letter trays to corral scraps - one for solids & the other for pattern/speciality scraps. Small scraps are corralled in a bowl until its overflowing, then I batch stamp/punch/diecut them into labels, tabs, stars, circles, etc. that are stored in a divided Artbin Solutions Box. Unwanted scraps are gathered in a designated bin in my craft room & donated once full, most recently to an after school art program for at-risk youth, to encourage/support others’ creativity.

Thanks for your responses. I dislike the citrine yellow, florals, faux cross stitching, etc., so nothing from this release is added to my wish list.

Me too! It seems only one collection per year, usually a Geralyn Sy/IACB collaboration, is graphic, non-floral with a cool color palette. Geralyn Sy/IACB is one of my favorite designers -- can't get enough of her collabs with Pinkfresh. I am just now cutting into some papers from "Tourist Mode" and loving them. <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 Same. Since I'm not a digital scrapper, I wish Geralyn Sy/IACB collaborated more frequently with PFS ... or, ideally, IACB offered physical supplies!

I like the bokeh paper but not the overall illustration style of the collection or the highlighter yellow in its color palette. Plus, I don't detail/fussy cut or use/buy papers with a glossy finish, pocket cards, or flair. ETA: This collection, plus two more, from Wild Whisper - December release are linked/discussed HERE.

Thanks for your responses. I dislike the bright yellow, abundance of florals, terrazzo pattern, hand-drawn lines/fonts, etc., so nothing from this collection is added to my wish list.

This collection doesn't have any flair ... The chipboard flair seems popular based on comments on this board & how quickly it appears to sell out at online. I wonder why PFS choses to exclude it from certain collections.

... Pink fresh comes up with a few phrases that I think are fresh and cool - on this one, there's a sticker tag that reads "Rule #1, you gotta have fun". I think that is so versatile. But do I want to buy a whole sticker sheet for it? If the rest of the sticker sheet/ephemera/etc. is heavily themed or otherwise unusable for me, I choose not to purchase them. Instead, I maintain a list of sentiments & computer generate/print them onto solid cardstock to create a label, word strip, or other embellishment. You chose the font, size, ink/paper colors, etc. & can reuse it!

Having just attempted to use a Pinkfresh yellow floral paper the other day I don't think this collection is for me. ... ... I agree, breetheflea - PF yellow is a difficult color! ... Same. Yellow is my least favorite color. IMHO the citrine shade that dominates this color palette is especially challenging!

I'm not a digital scrapper so uncertain the selection/uploading schedule. However, the most recent collections in the SS Digital Store, specifically The Holiday Life & FaBOOlous, were among the collections revealed in June & released/shipped in August/September (see HERE & THERE) while The Little Things & Trail Mix were among the collections revealed in April & released/shipped in June (see HERE). HTH.

... I do wish more collections would put vellum pockets or other elements in - love me some vellum embellishments. Note both of the collections in the PFS - February release include vellum: - Floral Vellum Ephemera from Making the Best of It (linked/discussed HERE) - Vellum Ephemera Pack from The Simple Things (linked/discussed THERE)

Not what I was expecting to see at all. Based on the collection name "Picture Perfect", I was expecting a collection about >> photographs, memories, selfies, capturing the moment, filmstrips, polaroid frames, cameras, etc... ... I agree ScrapbookMyLife, I expected a photo-centred more neutral coloured collection. ... Add me to the list of people who expected a more photo centric collection. ... ... I also don’t like when the title of a line isn’t reflected in the products. Same; it's disappointing!

... over the past 2 years, almost all of it feels very much the same to me. The exception being their travel line and the blue and green collection (too lazy to look up the names). ... Agreed. Historically, it appears PFS breaks from its repetitive feminine, floral, butterflies, & pastels or brights to offer a collection that is graphic & non-floral with a cool color palette only once per year - e.g. Tourist Mode (2023) & Simply The Best (2022).

I just noticed the front side (florals in envelopes) of the Happy Place paper does not appear on the cover of the 12x12 & 6x6 Paper Packs; rather, blue/orange/pink houses on a dark teal/green background is found on the third row between the floating icons & starburst patterns. Wonder which image - paper packs or individual paper - for the Happy Place pattern paper is correct?

Thanks for your responses. While I appreciate the addition of a Spanish version to support &/or attract new customers, nothing from this release is added to my wish list due to the abundance of florals, butterflies, hand-drawn lines, metallic gold accents, etc.

Given the company offers supplies for cardmaking to scrapbooking, it's surprising they don't offer 6x8 either in addition to or lieu of 6x6 (since 6x8 can easily be trimmed to 6x6)! Really good point, PaperAngel. Beyond what you said, people can cut a 6x8 paper in half and make 2 cards, with nothing wasted. I don't usually make 6x6 cards; I typically cut a couple of inches off my 6x6 papers, if I'm going to use 6x6 papers. I exclusively scrapbook so had never thought about the efficiency of two cards from one sheet of 6x8 paper. It now makes even less sense a papercrafting company that caters to cardmaking & scrapbooking would not offer 6x8 papers!

Has anyone seen this for pre order? ... It does not seem to be available for pre-order. As luvscrappin16 indicated, the company website (in the paragraph below the enamel dots & above the Giveaway section in the English link) states, “The Making the Best of It collection will be available for purchase on Monday, February 12th at 7 am CST!” HTH.

My approach with all papercrafting supplies (e.g. stamps, dies, ephemera packs, chipboard sheets) is to keep what I'll use & share/donate the rest. The random image/sentiment stamps from various sets are stored together by manufacturer. HTH.

... I have to cull those for sure , and also get rid of any stamps that don’t really stick. To restore the "stickiness" of photopolymer stamps, simply employ the sink drain stopper before gently cleaning (not soaking) stamps in warm soapy water (using a soap without moisturizers/etc.), rinsing thoroughly with plain warm water, & letting them air dry (not on paper towels or other material that may cling to the wet stamp). HTH

Love the graphic design and the green of the “feeling inspired” paper. I wish there was a whole line centered around that. That single piece feels like the PF of yesterday. The PF I loved before they went all pastel and floral. ... Me too! It seems only one collection per year, usually a Geralyn Sy/IACB collaboration, is graphic, non-floral with a cool color palette.

Thanks for your responses. Overall, I found this release more of the same themes with the same colors/icons/sentiments.
Just Beachy: I strongly dislike the highlighter yellow (especially combined with mustard) that dominates the color palette. Pack Your Bags: While I like the color palette, stripes, & non-themed tags, I dislike the uneven/hand-drawn illustration & fonts. Simple Vintage Essentials - Color Palette: I like the colors & concept but not its vintage aesthetic, including distressing, florals, birds, butterflies, etc. Summer Snapshots: I like the camera stencil but not the yellow-dominated color palette. Mother's Day: The color palette, illustration style, & stereotypical imagery/sentiments/etc. appears dated. Graduation: While I prefer no gold, the color palette & non-themed patterns are versatile.

Yes; I often use my tools (e.g. punches, dies, stamps/ink, stencils, embossing folders) to create versatile, non-themed embellishments, such as labels, tags, tabs, tickets, stars, arrows, hearts, etc.
