I like the colors in the Pack Your Bags line ... Love the colors in the Pack Your Bags line! ... ... I like that Pack Your Bags has colors instead of the browns I keep seeing. ... The color palette is a departure from earth tones in recent travel collections & more balanced, including cool colors, than the warm (& often yellow-dominated) schemes in spring/summer themed collections also released this time of year.

I may pick up the Graduation+ set ... This works well for college. I agree, given the minimal "diploma" references & neutral color palette that makes it easy to add school colors, if desired. Plus, among the usual "the tassel is worth the hassle," "sky's the limit," & "future's so bright" sentiments, I noticed a "hotter by one degree" sticker...ugh! ETA: ... I had hoped to like the Grad papers, but was looking for more than simply black and gold and vanilla. ... ... How many different ways can we do a graduation line? ... Since manufacturers rarely stray from the industry-standard black/white/gold color palette & usual/tired sentiments, the graduation themed (mini) collections are similar every year. On a positive note, the stripes, random dots, & star patterns should mix well with the prior New Year releases since they share the same industry-standard color palette!

... The Mother's Day papers are pretty but why is it so limited? Wow. I've noticed the SS mini collections (1 sticker sheet + 3 double-sided pattern papers, including a cut-apart) are basically "page kits."

Thanks for your responses. I find these collections look dated due to their color palettes, public domain imagery, oversized fruits/florals, floating icons, hand-drawn aesthetic, etc. Nothing is added to my wish list.

Was FP bought by AC too? Same packaging. ... Overall I just don't like the direction FP has gone with their recent collections ... What in the seven hells has happened to Fancy Pants? ... As indicated in this thread, Fancy Pants Designs was acquired from Foundations Decor sometime last year (see announcement). The name of the new owner(s) does not seem to be on its website.

1) Uncertain. Perhaps telephone the company to communicate your purpose for ordering/timeline & ensure desired quantities of each product are in stock.
2) As mentioned in previous threads, my only order from the EP Outlet was placed on the first day of a warehouse sale - three items with full price shipping/handling - & took almost a month to process/ship plus another week to arrive. I received it well over a month after placing the order (with no notice on the website indicating delayed shipping because customer service claimed the timetable was typical & should have been expected due to its high sales volume).
HTH, & best wishes with the class!

As an aside: I also save the branding strips (ETA: with other cardstock scraps in a PB letter tray stacked beneath a tray of pattern/specialty paper scraps). It's surprising how often an ~0.5" strip is useful on a layout (& without having to cut into a full sheet!).

I totally agree that I'm not on any design teams and don't have a blog, so who cares whose stock I'm using? But they aren't all created equal -- different weights, textures, some score and fold better, some take ink better. I buy things all over, including online. I guess that's the main reason I feel like I want to track what came from where; just to try to figure out which ones are really working for me. I exclusively scrapbook & choose not to publish my layouts, so cardstock organized primarily by manufacturer, then by weight/texture & loosely by color, makes it quick & easy to reorder (if still available) my favorites &/or most-frequently used!

I prefer (for ~20 years) to store cardstock (as well as pattern/specialty papers) vertically in Cropper Hopper (now Storage Studios) Paper Holders on shelves in my ladder bookcase ( Pottery Barn) for easy access to quickly peruse, insert, & remove individual sheets. Hope you find a cardstock storage solution that works for you & your creative space.

I like the color palette but not the recycled patterns, hand-drawn stripes & fonts, etc. It seems every annual CV non-pink/-floral collection (e.g. Legendary, No Limits) looks alike. Nothing is added to my wish list. TFS.

Thanks for your posts in response to the release update. I'm not the brand's target audience, since I don't gravitate toward photorealistic, scene, &/or themed papers/embellishments. Nothing is added to my wish list. ETA: The newer stuff isn't glossy. ... Thanks for the update.

Thanks for your participation in the poll & responses. I'm among the 38% that doesn't have FSS, since I painstakingly overanalyze each purchase & do not like/would never use every ink color, pattern paper, embellishment type, etc.

... But I don't feel the need to buy every one just so I can have a "complete set". I get the ones that speak to me for some reason or other (usually cuz I can imagine fun cards or pages with them on). Okay. Some speak to me louder than others. And even the ones I don't see a use for sometimes whisper... Perhaps the whisper is actually the wind from your cute new (gnomie) convertible ( here)!

The equivalent of the 49 and Market weight of card :-) I'm not a 49 & Market customer, so I searched & found, per the description, the paper weighs 100 lb. For pattern papers of similar weight (100 lb/270 gsm), see this thread. If interested in more information about scrapbook paper weight/thickness, check out the SB.com article. HTH.

Prompted by the recent announcement/release of the final new color in the Ranger/Tim Holtz Distress line ( here), do you have "Full Set Syndrome" (FSS), meaning you strive to buy/own every ink color, paper/embellishment, etc. offered for a given collection? If "yes" or "sometimes," what papercrafting supply/supplies do you collect? TFS.

Thanks for your responses. I'm neither a collection nor theme scrapper & use patterned paper sparingly with few embellishments, so I focus on the individual papers (usually the versatile/classic patterns on the reverse sides) & stencils before glancing at the stamps/dies & embellishments. Like many of you, I add to an online cart (since there's no LSS here anymore), edit periodically, eventually accumulate enough products to justify shipping, & place an order once or twice per year. Looking forward to the next release...

Thanks for your responses. I'm not a cardmaker so not interested in those kits. I appreciate the surprising lack of florals in the collection but dislike its (tired/overdone) stereotypical feminine color palette accented with highlighter yellow & "girl" sentiments. Nothing is added to my wish list.

Thanks for your responses. While I appreciate the concept of the Color Swatch collection, I don't gravitate toward the 49 & Market aesthetic (i.e. vintage/distressed, faux mixed media, feminine, floral, etc.) or embellishments (e.g. washi, epoxy, rub-ons, frames, acetate, florals). Nothing from this release is added to my wish list.

Thanks for your responses. IMHO a lack of cohesiveness is a signature of AC (pattern) paper brands. Collections are often a random assortment of (often garish) papers with repeated designs & various motifs, which I find more closely resembles an ad for the clearance aisle at a dollar store than a name brand/"designer" curated collection. Although I'm not a collection scrapper & usually purchase pattern paper by the sheet, nothing from this release is added to my wish list.

Thanks for your responses. Many of you guessed/predicted the color correctly! While I like the new cool brown, I exclusively incorporate stamping into scrapping & only purchase/use pigment inks (currently Versafine Clair & Versamark) since they are archival. Hope those of you who pre-ordered or intend to purchase it enjoy the new color...
