I would LOVE to find some BoBunny Serenity papers and embellishments! They work amazing for a meditation journal I am working on. I saw some on eBay the other day. I am going to check eBay right now!! Thank you for letting me know! |

1)I've realized that when my husband looks through my albums all he notices is the photos and journaling. He actually reads the story before looking at the photos. My daughter is the opposite, and while she appreciates the photos and stories she loves looking at the layout design and embellishments.
2) If my journaling is very personal or emotional, I hide it in an envelope or behind a photo.
3) It's ok to go back and redo a page if I really don't like it.

About a year ago, my hubby got me a new Brother typewriter for a little more than $100.00. I love it and it works great!! Although he really surprised the salesman at Office Max when he asked for one.. The salesman replied,"are you sure that's what she really wants?"  |

Have fun! Love days dedicated to play! And happy anniversary! Where are you going on your trip? We are going to Bayfied/Ashland Wisconsin area. We're going to tour Madeline Island. This weekend our daughter and her boyfriend are meeting us there! Hoping for good weather and a chance to take some nice, pretty pictures! |

Today starts my mini scrapbook vacation! I have the week off of work because my hubby and I are going out of town for a few days to celebrate our anniversary on Wednesday. I took today and tomorrow off also just to scrapbook!! So it's just me and my scrapbook supplies for the next 2 days! And for a bonus, on the way back from our trip, we will be driving right by my favorite scrapbook store so I'll definitely be making a stop there!!

YAY! That's awesome! Good for you! My confession is that even though I have two very large craft tables in my scrapbook room, I'm scrapbooking right now in a space about 2 feet by 2 feet because the rest of the space is covered with clutter....

I have done 2 "30 days of thankful " albums. I absolutely love this project! Almost as much as I love December Daily! What I'm thankful for doesn't change a whole lot year to year so I have done them every 3 or so years. I take a photo every day since I love taking photos. I also journal just a sentence or two about each. I did use up a lot of my fall embellishments, which I also love!! The only bad part is that it falls right before December so if you do a DD also, it can get overwhelming. I definitely think you should try it! I know you would love it!!

Enjoy your "scrappy" day! I'm jealous! I just finished a card for my future sister in law's bridal shower which is today. So no crafting for me. Although I'll be taking lots of pictures for future scrapbooking!!

I had always loved taking and organizing my photos and I knew I'd love Scrapbooking since I loved doing most crafts but I didn't want to start since I just knew I'd immediately be obsessed. And that's exactly what happened. I went to a CM get together and started a vacation album for a trip we just took. Of course, it was 100% CM!  |

Photos of my DD, who has lupus, when she was was very ill a few years. She has always been so energetic and full of life. It's so hard to look at photos of her feeling and looking so sick. Thank goodness, she is doing so much better now!
