I had a 4-runner years ago. I really would like another one. I don't think it will happen but I can always hope. I like that they sit up high.
Currently I have a 2013 Ford Escape. There is nothing wrong with it....knock on wood so hopefully I'm not jinxing it. Me......I'd get a 4-runner.

I'm in KC and I *know* there will be tons of people "sick". As soon as they won, we had fireworks going off all over the place (it was past 10PM) and the parade is Wednesday. :X The news mentioned that some of the schools in KC are closed Wednesday due to the parade.

It's amazing. My husband just went there. Even though I had sent him a photo of their open positions/salary it didn't hit him until he saw it himself. Best wishes to him for a new career there. Oh he's not working there. He and his buddy went to check it out along with a tool shop and knife shop that was close to it.

Uncheck the Christmas songs. I think they won't play then.
Missing songs....those were probably ones you loaded from a cd. Those don't transfer from phone to phone. The only ones that do are the purchased ones. I gave up with songs on cd's because of this.

If I scroll down it goes away temporarily.

This is very nice of you to do for her.
The most supportive machine you can get her is one that the local quilt store sells. They should have classes on not only the machine but items to sew besides quilts. Besides this local store would also service the machine. All support that she will need.
***A library may have a machine that can be checked out and used.

I shoveled our patio on our former house. The dogs went out and it was the north side of the house. If it wasn't shoveled it didn't melt. When it did warm up it all turned to ice.
I used the snow to make mounds for our huskies to leap over. It was so pretty to watch them fly through the snow and leap the mounds. Once they finished they'd sit on top of those mounds and could see to the other side of the fence.

We are all retired and may get together for a game afternoon or evening. I am not a game player. We do however have a few games (haven't been touched in years).
What board games and/or card games do you enjoy?
Any and all suggestions appreciated!

We just sold a couple of years ago.
Replace windows(they have moisture in between the panes)--WINDOWS.....you may be able to just get new glass and then they'd seal it for you. The moisture is gone. Call someone to look at them.
Replace wood floors(they have some spots that all torn up because of the dogs)--skip it. They will do their own flooring. You could put throw rugs or area rugs over the spot. That way the room would look nice until they move the area rug.
Repaint whole interior to be cohesive--Can you paint white?
Replace blinds(some are broken, and it is almost impossible to clean them)--We took blinds down. So there were no window treatments on some windows. Consequently no questions were asked.
Replace carpeting upstairs--skip it. They will do their own flooring. Get someone to clean it for you. We did this. It was amazing how nice they turned out.
Replace baseboards--Why? If they are damaged can you paint them?
Downstairs water heater needs to be replaced--Water heater is a necessity. I'd replace it.

They said today that it really won't be a list. It's a document that is 1,000's of pages long. Within those pages will be names. Get your reading glasses ready!

One of my side gig's for a few years was working in a jewelry store. Whatever you decide to do get something that has more than 4 prongs on it. When a ring only has 4 prongs it's very easy for a diamond or whatever stone to fall out.

They are also great if you're like us and still have dumb tv's. I have 2 dumb ones and Apple TV's on both of them. It enables me to use the apps that are on it without a new Smart TV.

I got up this morning and took most of it down before I had breakfast! By 9:30 a.m. it was down and put away by 10! It does feel good to have it down, but our house is so dull without the touches of red throughout it!

There is a doctor in Denver that has created a maneuver that you can do at home. I do it when it hits. I've screamed through doing it, but it works.
Google Denver Dr vertigo.
You need to get on the floor on your hands/knees. Go from there with the video.

Please don't go anywhere for Christmas. Remember you can carry it without being sick. You don't want to pass it to others.
Our Thanksgiving was a bust due to nasty colds and no Covid. We just were home by ourselves.

January is cold.....very cold and there is liable to be snow. If not snow on the ground, then slush. The United Center is well lit up. We've gone to a handful of games. We've purchased both the tickets and the parking tickets. I didn't want to mess with parking far away.
Westmont....I can't help you with that.

I suspect it will severely redacted. It will probably be a document of black lines. I seriously cannot imagine anyone wanting their name hooked to Epstein.

First off if you don't use your tub don't put another in. Make it a walk in shower. We had a small shower and a soaker tub. We got rid of the tub, made that area the shower. The former shower area became a wonderful closet for towels, vacuum, meds and whatever else we needed in there. It was the absolute best money we spent on our former house.
You really only need one tub in a home. Keep that one and get rid of yours.

Ladies I tried ribs years ago. They were bad..... So such you had such great advice on baked potatoes...how do you cook your barbecue ribs? We don't have a smoker. We do have a grill.
Please start with--what type of ribs to purchase. I apparently like baby back ribs...per my husband explaining them to me.

I grew up with a baked potato for almost every dinner. I didn't cook them often once I got married just because I was sick of them. I had a friend cook them where she sliced it into about five slices and stuck a little butter and onion between each slice and then popped it into the oven wrapped in aluminum foil. Delicious. Now I have to try this too!! Do you know what type of onion she used?

Microfiber will give you the fuzzies on stamps.
I have used a shammy. I've cut it apart so it lasts for a long time. A friend got me Gina K's shammy. I honestly don't see the difference between a shammy and Gina K's shammy. I keep them in an off brand tupperware container.
