Settings>Background App Refresh>all the apps that are refreshing and you may not know it. I have that completely turned off. I thought I did too. It lists all of your apps. Then if they are on background refresh. It was just very interesting as I didn't realize some were automatically refreshing.

But damn that new pink 15 is calling my name! I love the colors, but I have to have a good case on mine, and then it just kind of defeats the color of the phone. I tried a clear case, but it yellowed pretty fast. I have the Max Pro 12 - and it has always had a battery issue. My "Battery Health" is at 84% now - and has been at that for a long time. I feel like it was at that when it was almost brand new yet. But I can not get through the day without charging a few times. Mine was at 100% when I got up this morning at 6. It's 10:30 am, and it's down to 64%. I haven't used it a ton today. Did a little snapchatting, called DH to ask about fence, so it was a short call. A couple text with my kids and a couple pictures of a serial number, so I could have that on had. OK, so I didn't realize how many apps I had that were running in the background to refresh! I just turned off 10-15 of them. I swipe closed my apps several times a day. I generally never leave them open at all. But I for sure swipe out of everything 2 or 3 times a day. I have most of my notifications completely off. Only Text and Snapchat will light up my screen. Nothing else - not Facebook or Insta either. I think the battery life on the 12 is garbage. I have the newest update downloaded but not installed yet. Could it be any worse? LOL Check in your settings. That's where you will find them. I too swipe to turn them off but there are more! Many more. Settings>Background App Refresh>all the apps that are refreshing and you may not know it.

To check yours... Settings General Background App Refresh
You to may be amazed and disgusted as to how many are turned on. A lot of mine I haven't used. I really need to delete some of them.

Go into your settings and look at the battery. It will tell you what is using it.
Check what is on all the time through your settings.

I bought a ring. I wore it all the time unless my boyfriend and I exchanged rings. Then for me to wear his I found the fluffiest angora yarn and wrapped it around the band until it fit me. It looked like a ball of fluff. I wish I had a picture of it. When I didn't wear his ring on my hand it was on a chain around my neck.
Yearbooks....I have them from 6th grade through senior year of high school. I love the comments on them. So many memories!

Bring food and cut their grass! You could also trim their bushes if that works for them.

Well they are saying the virus is spreading now. I can see places wanting people to wear masks. People will complain. It will probably be the same ones that complained before.

I feel for you! It happened every year I taught too. It was too hot! I would go out to my car after school and the temp would read 118.
For many, many years we didn't have air conditioning and they wouldn't cancel school. Our school didn't get air until 2014 or 2015. It was bad....really bad. For the first couple of weeks we crammed in what we could in the morning and then pretty much baby sat in the afternoon.

I would have my child go to a public school to get the needed support. Go to the public school, talk to the admin, walk the halls. See what is there. You may be surprised. If the private school has lost so many children that's why they are charging more for everything. They have to make up the money from tuition of others some how. To do this they nickel and dime you until they have recovered what they need. I couldn't handle the stress of always wanting more money. I just couldn't. They can afford to get her the support she needs, it's just that the very basic things they've asked for have never been an issue until now, and they were given no notice before they were told they'd have to pay $2500 a month extra to get her those very basic accommodations. It's the principle. A school’s budget runs from I think July 1 or maybe it’s August 1 until the following year. It is not on the same schedule as a school year. I would bet between that time frame and registration the district saw how much money they are short. A private school can do what they wish. It’s private. Like I said….I would bet they are trying to make up the money they’ve lost by the people who have left the school. They really don’t care. It’s a money issue.

I was a computer teacher for many years. I taught both staff and students. I was in multiple buildings all the time.
I wore jeans and a nice top/sweater. I never knew when I had to crawl under a table to attach or disconnect something.
Your feet…..have you looked at your insurance and having your bunions removed? You may want to do that. I have friends who had theirs removed and it’s made a world of difference for them.

We had to turn them in for awhile. Our building was so large (125+ teachers) the admin had no time to look through paperwork. So it was dropped.
When I had to turn them in is when I created a spreadsheet for my plans. I did this so I could copy/paste all the stuff that happened on a regular basis. I also got so I used initials for the abbreviations. I had one notebook for reading and the rest of the subjects were in another notebook. This actually worked better than I thought it would. I was able to go back and edit to plan for the following week instead of recreating everything.

I can’t imagine. I realize insurance and all, but to get the needed supplies to the island to rebuild. Gads….there are still issues within the contiguous states.
So sad.

So Aaron flies to Fiji to talk to Charity. I'm thinking the minute she sent Xavier home, CBS got on the horn and volunteered to fly Aaron there. She is all over the place. Declaring to each of the two that she is in love with them and telling Aaron that she's falling in love with him. Whomever she accepts a proposal from isn't going to be happy seeing that when the season plays back. I haven't watched all season, but did see this little episode. I completely agree with you! Charity is all over the place. I feel like she is desperate to get married or at least get engaged.

As a child living with my parents we were at church weekly. Once my best friend and I got close we wanted to go to church together, but, we had to go to both churches. So we'd attend a Lutheran service (mine) and a Catholic service (hers) then walked home. So for awhile we had a double dose of church.
Once I went to college and then consequently moved away I nor longer attended church unless it was a wedding or funeral. Now why? I was working weekends at McDonald's. My hours were 6 a.m. - 2 p.m. That took care of any church time.
As an adult I was teaching and working a second job. You guessed it, I was working. Yes, they had Saturday services. I would of just gotten home once the services started.
I just cannot sit and do nothing for that long a period of time. I'd count the beams on the ceiling, the pews in front of me, the people in front of me....anything to get through the service. I think about all I could be doing instead of just sitting in church. ***This also would happen to me during staff meetings. I'd make lists of what I should be doing instead of sitting in a staff meeting that could of been completed in 10 minutes instead of an hour.

I wonder about bone conduction headphones? When I lost my hearing in one ear my brother suggested those. They work for me. I get my music off my iPhone.
These headphones are worn by athletes because the DO NOT go in the ears. Athletes wear them so they can hear their music and hear the traffic around them. I just got mine off of Amazon. When I first got them my brother recommended to get a medium priced set. That way I wasn't out a lot of money if they didn't work.

I heard last year that last summer was the coolest it will be. Apparently for awhile now the temps have been rising.
I do know last year this heat started in mid-June. It has just started now so at least it's a month later. It's nasty........

I think the smaller the better too. So cut up stuff is what I have to keep in the house.
It sounds like it will be a one night thing to chop for the week.
